You've been in an accident.

As the door slowly opened, Jason finally acknowledged his situation. It was at this moment he truly entered the world of fiction.

The moment he felt an overwhelming gratitude to whatever being led him to this world, he was hit with sharp pain in his subconscious.

The dull headache, that he originally had, instantly became an overexaggerated stimulus. Jason felt his nerves burning, his eyes wide-open screaming for help, his muscles tearing, his body completely dying. Jason was in so much pain that he could not even think of any thoughts. There was nothing else Jason could do except roll himself into a ball while holding his head and screaming at the top of his lungs.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH"

This was the horrifying wailing the doctor and her students were confronted with as soon as they walked in. Imagine their shock when their recovering coma patient suddenly started screaming like he was in excruciating pain while squirming furiously in his bed.

"Max, he seems to be suffering an extreme pain seizure, immediately Accio the Brindlewood Thorns and the Unicorn PenSyrup"

The doctor began her diagnosis as 'Max' ran outside while fiddling with his wand. The doctor ran up to him and immediately felt his pulse. It was like his heart was a train on tracks; almost undetectable and more dangerous than she could imagine.

'Max' reentered the room at this moment.

"Max, Lucy, I want you to immediately grab his body on either side and prevent him from flailing about. I'm going to inject the medicine into his stomach and he needs to be absolutely still.

Max and Lucy hastened to perform their assigned tasks and suppressed his movements. It wasn't hard for them to make him stay still when facing Jason's extremely weakened body. The professor pulled Jason's shirt up hastily but smoothly, portraying her years of experience, and administered the mixture of Brindlewood Thorns and Unicorn PenSyrup into Jason's body intravenously.

Jason's body started to cool down and slowly begin to relax. However, while his body was becoming more tranquil, Jason's voice still permeated. He still had not stopped screaming.

The doctor pulled out her wand and quietly murmured, "Silencio," which led to an abrupt stop in the noise. Nonetheless, Jason still had his mouth open, such that it was obvious he was still screaming and in incredible pain.

While the doctor and her two students scrambled and worked all around Jason's body to derive the cause of his pain, they were completely helpless. Just as they were considering attributing it to some mental trauma that caused his body to collapse, Jason finally closed his mouth.

Jason's body began to unfurl and his tears stopped flowing. His expression gradually became calm and he began to silently snore.

The immense relief the Professor, Max, and Lucy felt was resolutely shown in their expressions. They watched the patient go into a bout of madness and then go to sleep. As doctors, they now had hope that when Jason woke up from his sleep, he would no longer be in a coma. He might actually undergo a stable recovery.

----

Jason woke up with a blurred mind. He felt like he had run several marathons. So much fatigue had built up, that he struggled to even open his eyes.

In spite of all his pain, his thoughts were clear. He was euphoric. What caused his huge outburst was the pain of Jason retrieving the memories of his predecessor. Now Jason had a complete understanding of his situation and what happened to him. All the lingering questions he had vanished and despite still being groggy, he had never felt better.

As Jason's eyes peered open, he saw a young woman sitting at his bedside. She was inaudibly reading some papers, with the occasional glance at the sleeping Jason. When she met Jason's half-opened eyes, she nearly jumped in fright.

"Damn it, he's finally awake. Jason, can you hear me? If you can please respond with some sort of cue. Jason. Jason. Jason," she questioned incessantly.

As Jason was trying to move his mouth to respond to her, all he could make out in a raspy fatigued voice was, "Wh..at. hap..p.ened to me? W..here am I?"

His voice started to return to him as he approached the end of his questions. Jason put on the most innocent and ignorant face he could muster as he whispered his words.

The young lady, who Jason presumed to be 'Lucy,' almost shouted with joy at Jason's response. After trying to control the pleasant expression on her face, she put on the most professional face she could gather and started her monologue.

"Jason, my name is Lucy White. Firstly, I want to you to please tell me if I am speaking too fast, or too slow. Let me know if you need to me slow down, or anything else you feel right now. Please do not hesitate to interrupt me"

Lucy took a deep breath, "Jason you were in a very tragic accident and have been at St. Mungo's Hospital for 2 months. I am one of the assistant doctors assigned to your case and we have been waiting for you to come out of your coma. Now, if you want any details about the accident, I have already called the main doctor, Professor Victoria Briar, who will tell you all about it."

"Right now can you remember anything? Do you have any pain anywhere? Is there any discomfort in your body," she concerningly questioned.

"I feel fine, just very tired and hungry. I can barely move my body because I feel like I have no energy. I am slowly able to recall bits of what happened to me and why I am in the hospital. Ummm, did... did my parents do this to me?" Jason questioned naively.

Looking at his pitiful expression and knowing his horrible circumstances, Lucy felt extremely sad. Her honest expression told him that she knew everything.

Lucy could only reply, "Jason, I am so sorry for what happened to you. I am not allowed to discuss this with you. Can you please just wait for a moment for the doctor?"

As Jason saw her extremely somber and apologetic face, he immediately knew that she was a good person. He could almost guess the pitying thoughts the other party was thinking now.

It was at this moment that the doctor knocked and opened the door.

Friends. I had exams which nearly killed me. Thus, I took some time off to recover my lost brain cells. Hopefully, we can expect to see steady updates from this moment on!

Enjoy and don't forget to leave your thoughts and comments. I am writing for fun so good suggestions will be considered thoroughly.
