HP: god of potions

This is the story of a soul reincarnated into the body of a first-year student attending Hogwarts, without any knowledge of the world(s) he's in. Follow his sleepless journey across the Harry Potter universe, where his single goal is to gather materials and become a god through his potion system. However, this isn't just any ordinary universe—it's an amalgamation of many. Join Gray Knight as he embarks on his quest to create the perfect potion, uncover who disrupted what should have been an easy journey, and evade the hunter chasing him. --- Warning! English isn't my first or second language, but I'll try to write something you can read and understand. This story revolves around potion-making and the search for ingredients. As a wise dwarf once said, alchemy is about gathering materials, so there will be monster fights and hunting. In fact, if you have an ingredient Gray needs, you're done for! As for romance, let me be honest—I don't know the Harry Potter universe very well. I've watched all the movies and am rewatching them while writing this fanfic, but I won't know obscure characters like Tonks. Who the hell is Tonks? I still don’t know! This makes romance tricky, but I'll try to find the most beautiful girl in this or other universes for Gray. Still, Gray’s first love will always be his gold coins. NO HAREM.

The Arcane stone(chapter 75)

Chapter 75

Everything fell to the ground, the priceless ingredients scattering, but Gray ignored them entirely. His attention snapped to the source of the sound: a dark egg submerged in a high-quality arcane liquid. Darkness emanated from the cracked surface, and Gray moved at lightning speed to inspect it. He examined the egg closely, noting no immediate signs of hatching. To confirm his observations, he cast Visions Temporis once more, ensuring the egg wouldn't hatch anytime soon. Sighing in relief, he returned to clean the mess caused by his interruption. As he sorted through the spilled materials, something caught his eye—a light purple and blue crystal lying amidst the debris. Gray picked it up, realizing it was the result of his earlier efforts. Despite the setbacks, he couldn't help but feel a sense of intrigue as he studied the unexpected byproduct of his experiment.

[Name: The Arcane Stone]

[Grade: Peak grade]

[Description: Originally crafted as a potion with a level 9 skill, the Arcane Stone solidified during its creation, becoming a crystalline object brimming with immense magical energy. This transformation occurred due to the unique combination of five rare and potent magical materials: Essence of unicorn Horn, Basilisk Venom, Phoenix Feather Extract, Dragon Heartstring Infusion, and Unicorn Blood and the lack of the finishing step that kept the solution in liquid form. The Arcane Stone is not only an extremely concentrated source of magic but also acts as a permanent reservoir of magical energy, capable of empowering powerful spells or fueling vast magical constructs. Its creation is an extraordinary rarity, and it can produce arcane extract.]

Gray reread the description of the Arcane Stone, thinking, "It can power spells and magical constructs, but it can also produce Arcane Extract, similar to the Sorcerer's Stone's ability to create the Elixir of Life." This was precisely his intention when he used the Sorcerer's Stone as a blueprint. The Arcane Stone's capability to produce Arcane Extract was a step in the right direction. Gray held the stone for a moment, contemplating his next move, when he remembered how Raven would glare at him to either bathe or sleep. This memory brought a rare smile to his face, the first in months. Rising from his spot, he decided to take a shower but skipped sleep, his mind now fixated on what to do with the Arcane Stone.

"Maybe a wand will do," Gray thought, "after all, I am a wizard. Unless I can create a powerful construct like a golem." He already had a suitable wood for the wand: a branch he had taken from a dead tree in a witch's lair during his previous travels. This wood was unbreakable, both physically and magically. Even with his strength, capable of lifting 100 tons, Gray had been unable to damage it, making it the perfect candidate for a wand. "All that's left is to enchant the wood so it can return to me if it ever leaves my hand and transform its shape when needed," he considered. Gathering the necessary materials became his next goal, which excited him. Being 60+ years back in time meant access to entirely new ingredients. Eagerly, he left the alleyway and headed to the magical side of Paris, France.

Gray quickly found the hidden entrance, a green statue of a lady that moved her metallic scarf when someone approached. Stepping under it, he entered an entirely different, magical world. The sight was breathtaking, filled with vibrant shops and bustling witches and wizards. Suddenly, a loud roar echoed through the area, followed by a clank against a nearby building. Looking up, Gray spotted a large magical creature he immediately recognized. "A Zouwu," he thought, a little surprised. The Zouwu, a massive feline creature from Chinese folklore, was known for its vibrant multicolored fur, razor-sharp claws, and long, flowing tail that glowed like silk. However, Gray quickly lost interest, thinking, "The only good thing about it is that it's fast." Speed wasn't what he needed at the moment, so he ignored the creature.

The Zouwu, however, didn't appreciate being overlooked. With immense speed, it lunged at Gray, relying on its agility to evade wizards. Unfortunately for it, Gray's speed was equally immense. Holding the Arcane Stone in his hand, he snapped his fingers, causing the stone to glow briefly. In an instant, the Zouwu was reduced to the size of a regular cat. The once-mighty creature now looked harmless as Gray grabbed it by the neck, dangling it in front of him. "Incredible," he muttered. At that moment, three individuals approached him: two wizards and a Muggle. The male wizard, who seemed oddly cheerful, asked, "Zouwu are incredibly fast. How did you react to it?" Gray glanced at the trio, briefly eyeing the Muggle in confusion.

The man introduced himself. "I'm Newt. This is my friend Jacob, and this… this is Tina," he said, gesturing to the others. Gray's curiosity piqued as he asked, "What is a Muggle doing in the magical side of the world?" Newt seemed surprised. "You… you're also from London?" he asked. That's when Gray realized who he was speaking to. "You're Newt Scamander, the magical zoologist?" Gray said, intrigued. He had studied Newt's books, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, during his search for potion ingredients. Newt, cautious, asked, "Are you with the Ministry of Magic?" Gray replied, "No. Do you want this creature?" Newt's excitement was palpable as he nodded eagerly. Gray handed him the Zouwu, which promptly bit Newt, though he didn't seem to mind.

"You're giving it to me?" Newt asked, his grin widening. Gray nodded, watching as Newt opened his magical suitcase, enchanted much like Gray's to hold far more than it seemed. "Well, bye," Gray said simply, turning to leave. The reason for his abrupt exit was simple: Newt had just made Gray's life significantly easier. Newt had inadvertently told Gray where to find other magical creatures through his book, so returning this gesture just felt right to him. Of course, Newt would be far less thrilled if he knew what Gray planned to do with them.

After leaving the trio, Gray pondered for a moment, thinking, "Why do I always meet trios? And why is it always two males and one female?" He quickly dismissed the strange phenomenon and refocused on his task of acquiring materials for his wand creation. After purchasing everything he needed, he returned to his suitcase to begin work. Of course, like with his potions, Gray didn't use his rare and valuable materials for the initial crafting process. Instead, he used lesser materials, spending hours drinking enlightening potions and crafting prototype wands. Each attempt was an experiment, and every experiment became a lesson as he meticulously took notes on what needed to change and how to implement those changes.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Gray successfully created his third wand. He examined his creation, a staff-like wand with the Arcane Stone affixed to its top. "Now I look like a proper mage," he thought as he admired it. Then, with a simple act of will, the wand's shape began to shift. It transformed into a regular-sized wand, and the Arcane Stone repositioned itself to the butt end of the wand, its size shrinking accordingly. "And now I look like a wizard," he mused. However, the wand wasn't just for appearances. Gray had imbued it with several enchantments: it would return to him no matter how far it was thrown, and no one aside from Gray could pick it up or use it. This wand was unmistakably his and his alone.

Looking at the wand, Gray sighed as a memory surfaced—Rachel. "She'll probably sulk for days," he thought, a faint smile tugging at his lips. He exhaled deeply, trying to shake the thought, and turned his attention back to his surroundings. Scattered across his workspace were materials, wand woods, cores, cauldrons, and flasks. The sight was a mess, but Gray had a solution for that. With a simple flick of his wand, everything began to clean itself. Tools and components returned to their original places as the discarded materials sorted themselves neatly into piles.

A/N don't worry this wand will truly shine when he returns to the wizarding world from the new world after the time travel.
