The castle guards went down to where Lyra was and told her to stop. In no time, Lyra had more than ten guards with weapons pointing at her, to which she only responded in submission.
The guards took her inside the castle, where the king and his sister were waiting for her in the main hall. The king was sitting on his throne, and when he saw Lyra, his reaction was more than surprising; it was one of joy.
"Lyra, I knew you were going to come back. I'm so glad you're alive," says the king approaching her.
"Dear king, I'm so sorry for everything I did. I was just scared for a moment. I hope you can forgive me so I can marry the prince and solve the problem between the kingdoms," says Lyra in a submissive voice.
"Of course, we don't have time to waste, so I'm glad you realized it as soon as possible. The wedding will be tomorrow, so just relax, try on the dress, and get ready. Many good things will come to our family," says the king.
After that, they took Lyra to her room so that she could try on the dress and calm down. While in her head, she was trying to remember where the potions were.
Her intention was going to be immoral, considering she was being accepted back into the kingdom, but she was not going to fall into the king's trap. She knew he was just a convenience who wanted to solve the wedding issue as soon as possible.
"He didn't ask where she had been, nor did he bother to have a sincere conversation with her, that and other things made her despise him even more. But before she could continue increasing her resentment, her sister, Rose, entered her room unexpectedly and then closed the door.
Lyra, who was looking out the window, was surprised by what had happened, but then saw that it was her sister, so she was hesitant.
"I don't understand why you came back. You're a shameless person without any remorse," Rose says with an arrogant tone.
"It hurts me that your words are like that and not that you ask how I am," Lyra says calmly.
"How could you even think I would be happy to see you? I was going to be forced to marry that prince because of you, so now you're just doing the bare minimum. I hope you don't regret it again, if that's what happened," Rose says with some indifference at the end.
"I didn't want to marry anyone, I've never liked commitment, and you know that. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Now I just want you to leave me alone and let me prepare," Lyra says.
"That's what I'll do. Also, you shouldn't worry about it. They say even the prince is handsome, so you won't even have a bad time. Try not to cause any more problems, okay? You might not have the same luck with the king again," Rose says before leaving the room.
Lyra distrusted her sister a lot, although they went through many things together, very difficult experiences, above all, they could never understand each other, but there was something that made them both only trust each other and no one else, but maybe it was an illusion of Lyra."
Faced with her sister's despicable threat, Lyra continued to plot her plan to obtain the potion needed by the rebel group, so she spent a long time trying to come up with the best possible plan to get out of there alive.
It wasn't an easy task, and she even felt remorse inside because the king was trusting her, but there was nothing she could do to please both sides. So, motivated by her heart, she remained steadfast in her decision to continue with the mission she had imposed on herself.
Walking around her room, Lyra didn't know how to act to get that potion. She knew where it was, but she had to get there stealthily and, above all, it had to be tonight since there would be no better opportunity than this to obtain the potion.
So she left her room very quietly and started moving around the castle. Her sister, who had suspected Lyra's behavior from the beginning, had left two guards to watch her. Fortunately, they weren't at the door, and she managed to slip out. But later, she ran into them in the hallway.
They were headed towards her, but Lyra managed to hide behind the wall, and they didn't see her. Very quickly, she started thinking of a way to get out of there alive. It was risky, but if she managed to knock them out, she would have a clear path to obtain the potion and leave the castle.
When the guards were close enough, Lyra emerged from her hiding place, and with great force, she readied her fist and leaned in to throw it with momentum. She then struck one of the guards in the jaw, and he went flying, knocked out. The other guard, who was surprised, quickly got ready to fight, but Lyra was more than ready to take him down.
So, with a rather agile kick, she also knocked out the other guard. Now there was no one who could stop her, so she began to run through the corridors to find the room where the potion was located. When she found it, she was a little exhausted, but it was time to break down the door so she couldn't afford to rest. She began to wrestle with the door, but it wouldn't open so easily. While she was doing that, some guards appeared and caught her trying to open one of the forbidden doors.
"It's the princess! She's conspiring against the king! We must catch her!" says one of the six guards who were there.
Lyra, who was scared to see all those guards, found herself in a dangerous situation, one that she had to solve quickly, because if she was caught, death would be a very gentle sentence considering what else would happen to her for doing the wrong thing.
So, with fear in her heart, the light of the full moon flooding the hallway, filling Lyra's instinct and making it rise to the surface, she began to transform into a werewolf, her claws growing, her fangs pronounced, and her beautiful body abundant.
Lyra's werewolf version was wild and strong, but smart enough not to leave behind the mission that brought her there in the first place. She attacked the guards with all her might, then left them unconscious.
When she finished attacking them, she approached the door, smashed it with her unbreakable strength, and then entered to start looking for the potion. It was difficult to find it, but when she saw it, her canine eyes began to shine. She grabbed it and then left the place.
Since the guards were on the first floor, she had to break down the castle wall to get out alive and not hurt anyone else, so she used her last strength to break the wall and fly out of the place. When she landed on the grass, she felt like a champion who had just achieved her goal, she had managed to escape alive from the lion's den.
