Study Session

"So if you do that and then that you will be able to get the answer."

"Ahhhh! That makes so much sense!"

"Thanks Jaki!"

"No problem."

Although we called it a study session I feel like most of it is spent with Jaki helping me out. It felt more like a private tutoring lesson.

I feel a bit bad since I feel like I am hindering Jaki's study. Though on the other hand I also feel happy being able to spend some one on one time with Jaki.

The explanation Jaki gave was also really good. Sometimes when my parents help me out with my homework, the hardest part for me to understand is their explanations. They will teach me the right equations to use but I will still be confused on to how they know which to use and when to use.

However when Jaki was explaining the problems, it felt like I could understand it they way she was seeing it. She was guiding me through the problems step by step making sure I understood everything before we moved on.

That way I was never confused and when I got the right answer I understood how I arrived there and the process behind it.

I was actually quite surprised that everything went this smooth. With every question that I had it seemed that Jaki was somehow already prepared and she got on to explaining without even a second of hesitation.

Because of this we actually went through my practice papers that I thought was gonna last for another week in only the span of a few hours.

Now that I'm done with my paper I actually don't know what to do.

I sit on the table going through my paper again even though its all filled out now.

I sneak glances at Jaki while she is studying, I'm sure she is doing some difficult papers that is probably intended for the next year level.

She has a serious look with laser eye focus on the problem she is working on. I can feel the intensity from just sitting near her.

Something about this intensity just oozes coolness. That's why I can't help myself from constantly sneaking glances at her.

Hmm. What should I do now though. Grab another worksheet?

Just as I was pondering about this a great idea came to mind.

"Hey Jaki."

"What's up? Need help with any questions?"

"Oh no its not that, haha."

"Anyway what do you say about taking a break."

"Sure, a break wouldn't be a bad idea right now."

"Sweet!"

"Give me one second, I'm gonna head home and bring something back real quick."

Jaki seemed a bit confused but nodded.

I know just what to bring for some great relaxation right after some intense studying.

My beloved switch that I haven't had the chance to play much recently.

I'm sure that with how competitive Jaki can be we are gonna have a blast playing it.

With that I head out of Jaki's house and practically ran back to my own house.

Not wanting to waste any time and probably way to eager to play some switch games with Jaki.

I wonder if this will be Jaki's first time playing with a switch?

Either way I'm sure we're gonna have a great time.
