Rika Minami

Nick and the girls woke up in the morning and started to pack their stuff. After getting freshened up they packed up everything and Nick stored them away in his space. Everyone got up early today since they needed to leave soon.

Nick went downstairs and found their whole group downstairs on the table waiting for breakfast. Nick also sat down beside them followed by Saeko, Shizuka, and Saya. Nick and the girls greeted them and they were having some casual conversation as of now. Soon Yuriko and Soichiro also joined them on the table.

Nick: So, is everything ready?

Yuriko: Yes… we have packed up everything. After breakfast, we will need a few minutes to pack the rest of the stuff here and get them on the vehicles.

Soichiro: Nick, can you clean the parking lot after breakfast?

Nick: Yes.

Nick nodded and continues to eat his food. Soon Shion and Asami also came and joined them on the table. Nick noticed Shion stealing glances from Nick. Nick noticed this and winked at her which made blush. Nick understood what Shion's decision was going to be this was enough signal for him.

After breakfast, Nick opened the barricaded door and lit up a cigarette followed by his girlfriends.

Nick: Saeko-chan, should I leave some for you?

Saeko: No need… I can kill some later when we reach the airport.

Saya: I would like to test my new gun skills.

Saya said and took the gun which she has been carrying on her back. It was a suppressed M-16. She aimed down the sights and started to kill the zombies after sometime Kohta also joined along with Misuzu and Toshimi. Takashi and Rei also came after some time but they didn't join them.

Nick: So, are you a couple now?

Rei: What…!! There is nothing like that between us.

Takashi: You got it wrong Nick-san.

Nick thought that Takashi might be gay since he didn't react to Rei's advances. There were only two reasons for that… one Takashi might be blind or he might be gay. Since he wasn't blind he must be gay. Nick didn't want to think about anything more since the parking lot was completely cleaned.

Yuriko: Good, now let's load the stuff.

After that Yuriko called all the peoples who have been helping her with carrying the stuff. Nick has asked previously to keep a list of people who have been working and helping them. Yuriko did that since she knew that Nick was planning something and she completely agreed with it. She has also talked with Soichiro about this and he agreed with her reluctantly at last.

After some time, all the stuff was completely loaded with everything they needed. They have emptied the whole shopping mall since the dead didn't need this stuff. They took clothes, electrical appliances, and anything they could get their hands on. They even emptied lingerie stores and stores with beauty products.

Nick: Let's be on the way now…!!

Nick gave the order and every soldier got on the vehicles and started to start the vehicles. Nick got on the vehicle and saw his whole group in there with two new members Shion and Asami. Shion was in the driving seat, she once glanced at Nick and started the vehicle and took the lead.

~SOMEWHERE ELSE~ POV (Rika)

Rika: Goddammit, how long are we going to do this?

Tajima: Fuck this shit… these things don't end.

Rika: Stop shooting… we don't have enough bullets. Try to avoid them.

Tajima: Ok, leader.

My name is Rika Minami, I work as prefectural police and I am Japan's 5th best sniper but all of those are meaningless now. We were in Tokonosu Island when we were assigned to clear the airport of these walking dead. We just had to keep the runways clear of these mindless fuckers but if it had been that easy. On the third day, we found that these things have started to evolve and they weren't so easy to take down.

So, the mission failed, a lot of my men died in the airport and these stupid VIPs ordered the higher officials that we help them get back into this city. We were ordered to take these VIPs to General Amami. We lost the airport and we lost many comrades while escaping from the airport. But this was just the start of our misfortune after we started our journey our vehicles got wasted after overheating and those VIP fuckers emptied the rations. Bastards… that was all of our food.

We entered the city somehow and were able to gather some food and vehicles but we lost everything after we were ambushed by a horde and we were ordered by our superior to clean a path through them. That was the most dumbest decision, we lost the whole group there. Only I and my partner Tajima were able to get away but that was two days ago.

We don't have any food, water, or bullets. Death is evident for us no matter what we do and we are boing continuously chased by those fuckers.

Tajima: Leader, why don't we take the ramp? It is a straight way so we will be able to avoid zombies.

Rika: Ok, let's do that.

After that, we both entered the high road and started to head towards the other end. I don't know how long we will be alive but I won't stop fighting. We got down from the ramp and Tajima took the lead. Suddenly a zombie fell over Tajima from the roof and bit his hand. Fuck… is this it too. I shot the zombie and helped Tajima to get up.

Tajima: Boss… we both know what this means… kill me till I am still human.

Rika: Ok… do you have any last wish?

Tajima: I would have loved to have sex with you but that can't happen now… go on Rika take the shot.

Rika: Goodbye Tajima… I will miss you, you have been a good friend.

After that I shot Tajima and killed him, I picked up his gun and checked the bullets. I will fight until I drop I guess. After that, I continued to kill zombies and head ahead in search of some supplies. That is when I was surrounded by those zombies from all the sides on the street. I guess this will be the end.

~WITH NICK~

Nick was casually smoking a cigarette, everyone was also calm when they heard some shots. All of them heard the shots coming from in front of them, soon all of them saw a tanned woman being surrounded by some zombies. Shizuka immediately jumped in the front seat over Nick.

Shizuka: Nick-chan, that's Rika-chan. You have to save her…

Nick nodded and took out his hands out of the window and it seemed that the woman has also noticed them. The next moment all the zombies around the woman were ripped apart. The woman was confused and dropped on the ground. Shion stopped the car in front of her and Shizuka immediately opened the door and ran to her friend.

Rika: Is that you Shizuka? I must be hallucinating…

Shizuka: No, Rika-chan it's really me… were you bitten?

Rika: No, thank god I met you.

After saying that Rika passed out, Nick picked up Rika from the ground and helped Shizuka to put her down in the vehicle. After getting her in the car, Nick again gave the signal and entered the car.

Saeko: Shizuka-chan, is your friend ok?

Shizuka: From her blood pressure, she is dehydrated, she is also starving. Nick-chan can you give me a saline bottle from your storage.

Nick didn't say anything and handed Shizuka a saline bottle, Shizuka hooked the bottle quite soon and injected the syringe on Rika's hand. After sometime Rika opened her eyes again and started to check around.

Shizuka: I am so glad you are awake Rika-chan~.

Shizuka immediately hugged Rika before she could say anything.

Rika: So, it wasn't a dream, so how were those zombies killed? I remember them being ripped apart.

Shizuka: That can wait for later, now eat some food and water~.

Shizuka said while handing her canned food and a bottle of water, Rika didn't wait and opened the food can and started to eat the food. She immediately inhaled the whole can so Shizuka handed her another can. After 5 cans of food, she was completely full.

Shizuka: What happened Rika-chan~?

After hearing that Rika finally broke down in tears and Shizuka hugged her best friend. After that, she slowly started to tell what has happened to her and her team. Everyone became sad after hearing her story, it was really sad what happened to her. Anyone else would have gone insane if they had to withstand all these.

When she finished her story they have already reached the airport, Rika had already calmed down and now she was completely fine. Though she looked weak but she was mentally fine now.

Rika: So, why are you here?

Nick: This is going to be our new base…!!
