I like you

I just did that to my crazy ex girlfriend. I have to show her that ain't who she thought I was. I must achieve my dreams and visions to make her and the rest of the people who pushed me to attempt suicide regret their actions.

As I walk to my lecture room, I can see how these guys are staring at me stunned of how I have changed. My attitude has changed, my dressing code has changed and my personality has changed.

"Woow... You look so amazing. I don't mind being your date tonight", Harley the girl who believes she's the hottest girl on campus approaches me.

"I thought I am the boriest guy. You've met", I can't forget how she embarrassed me the last time I  approached her. I just wanted to take her out. But she embarrassed me saying that she couldn't go anywhere with a low life like me. But here she is claiming she doesn't mind being my date.

"No..., you ain't. I didn't see this side of you then", she was so good at doing this. Pretending like she did nothing wrong to me.

"Oooh, nice deal. Not today buh will inform you when", I smirk at her. She becomes so delighted that one might think she just won a lottery.

"Will be waiting Blake", she grins at me.

After my first lecture, I head to the cafeteria and spot Anna. "Hi...", I say grinning widely at her.

"Hey Blake sit...", I sit near her.

"So... why have you been so silent on me. Have I done anything wrong. Are you alright... What's happening to you. You seem so different nowadays", she starts. I understand where she's coming from. I know have changed, everything about me is different.

"Yes am fine. I just secured a job. That's why I hardly communicate nowadays", I lie. I couldn't tell her that joined a mysterious secret society. I wish could be able to tell her everything I have experienced since she's my best friend but I can't. I vowed to never tell anyone what has been happening to me. I just have to lie that everything is alright and pretend that nothing strange is happening in my life.

"Woow really that's dope. You can now have your own cash", she was genuinely happy for me.

"Yes I have to, my uncle hardly gives me money", he is the stingy and rich uncle who has made my life miserable since my parents passed on. He's the major reason why I attempted suicide. If it wasn't for Tamima now would be dead. I have to be strong for my sister and me.

"Am so sorry for that. He will come to regret how he's been treating you like trash", she encourages me. I feel better knowing that I will be the one to make his life miserable. I will make sure he falls and he will come back to me begging like a puppy.

"Yes I believe that too, karma is real", I state.

"Yes, you are so strong. Never loose hope in life", she advises me. She's such a sweet and loving person.

"Thank you...", I nod.

"You may sit", Tamima informs me as I enter her office. It's so lavish and elegant. Its interior decor is spectacular.

"Thank you...".

"I called you here to inform you that your apartment has been purchased", she states so casually.

"What apartment...?" I question her.

"Your apartment. I have already bought it", she assures me. Am so excited that will be having my apartment.

"Yes since you passed the test that was meant to test if you could formally join our society. Your reward is a house and a well paying part time job cause you are still studying", I didn't think that would have all that so soon.

"Wow, that's dope. Am so happy I love that", I become excited like a child who was bought a surprise cake. I can't hide my joy.

"Yes it is and that's the beginning. There are more things to come if you adhere to all our rules ", she assures me.

"It's fab and I love this...".

"Let's go to the apartment now", She informs me as she stood. I gape unable to control myself. She's so hot in the short fitting dress. I have to stop thinking of her in this way. I can't allow myself to be obsessed with her. She's still Tamima the most influential and richest woman in our country.

"You like me huh", she sits at the table. I can feel her sweet scent and it's really tormenting me on the inside.

"Aaaaahh", I gape. I don't know what to tell her.

"Don't be shy Blake. Haven't you become bold yet", she heads too close to me.

"I am bold", I assure her.

"Then act like a man. You shouldn't be afraid of me", she lifts my chin using her forefinger. This forces me to stare at her.

"I will ", I whisper as my heart starts to pound faster.

"Well let's go", she says heading to the door.

I know she knows that am crushing on her. I don't know how to hide my emotions in any way. I love how she's so beautiful and yet looks so dangerous at the same time. That combination is amazing and would love to be her boyfriend at one time. If possible even marry her.

Why am I just exaggerating everything in my head and hoping for things that won't come to pass? "Stop overthinking if you like me just tell me now. Don't be embarrassed", she smirks at me. 

"Aaaah yes I like you", I inform her.  I  ran my fingers through my hair with shaking hands. Am acting like a guy who has never asked a girl out. Am so tensed after mentioning that to her. I can't look directly at her.

"Oooh, I knew it. Stop being afraid of me. I won't eat you", she licks her lips as she winked at me. Am certain she was doing this on purpose to torture me more.

"I hope you aren't mad at me", I ask her.

"No... am not. Am already used to this Blake", she informs placing her hand on my thigh. Adrenaline covers my whole body as she squeezes my leg softly.
