Ch-7 < first tenma great war >

After four years of arduous battles and relentless training, Kiana and Bianca had finally reached a new pinnacle of strength.

Their saint-level powers had evolved beyond what anyone thought possible, making them the most formidable warriors on the continent. All that remained was one final task—to receive the blessing from the Fairy Queen, Ramiris, which would complete their transformation into true heroes.

Kevin, watching them from afar, smiled with pride. His system had just updated, and he now had over 16 million system points, thanks to the levels Kiana and Bianca had achieved.

As he looked at the holographic screen before him, a new notification popped up:

New Quest: Travel to the Domain of Ramiris and ask her to bestow the Kaslana Sisters with her blessing.

Reward:

*5M System Points

*Kaslana Sisters' Evolution

*Soul Bond Level-Up Card

Kevin grinned, thinking how the rewards were definitely worth the trip. But just as he was about to relax, he sensed an aura approaching.

Suddenly, the air around him rippled, and without hesitation, Kevin conjured a barrier to deflect a powerful blast coming from an Archangel-class angel.

"Nuclear Cannon!" Kevin roared as a bright, golden-yellow flame erupted from his arms, obliterating several angels in one devastating sweep.

Their home has became a battlefield becuase of Rudra, the ambitious ruler of the Nasca kingdom, had launched the First Tenma Great War.

Angels, once the symbol of divine justice in most of fairy tail were now under his control by the Ultimate Skill: Justice King Michael to do his bidding.

"Why is he even targeting this area?" Kevin muttered under his breath since there are two true dragons living here and soon more angels descended from the sky.

Rudra's plan was clear: unite the world under his empire's banner. By attacking neighboring countries, he hoped to weaken them and eventually absorb them into his domain.

Kevin wasn't alone. Standing beside him was Velzard, her cool expression unchanged by the chaos around them, while Kiana and Durandal fended off angels in the distance, their blades flashing in the evening light.

Meanwhile, off to the side in a tranquil garden, Velgrynd, Jyahanar, and Elysia sat sipping tea, completely unfazed by the destruction unfolding nearby. Their laughter rang out, mingling with the clash of steel.

"Kiana!" Bianca called out, her sword glowing with divine energy as she blocked an incoming angelic strike. "Watch your right!"

"Hai hai !" Kiana shouted back deflecting another angelic spear aimed at her. She grumbled under her breath, "Why do we have to do all the cleaning up while the rest of them just sit there drinking tea?"

Bianca, wiping sweat from her brow, gave a weary smile. "It's just the way things are, Kiana. Let's just finish this quickly."

Before Kiana could retort, Velzard's calm voice cut through the air. "Hurry up and join us when you're done, Kiana. Your tea is getting cold " Her tone was teasing, but with a hint of a command.

Kiana's frustration boiled over. "You all are bullies!" she shouted, her voice echoing across the battlefield. The others—Bianca included—couldn't help but laugh at her outburst.

Kevin, however, wasn't about to let Kiana and Bianca off easily.

With a flick of his hand, he increased the gravity around both Kiana and Bianca, forcing them to fight under immense pressure. "A little more challenge never hurt," he teased, watching them struggle but knowing it would only make them stronger.

"Ugh! Kevin, you're such a jerk!" Kiana grumbled, her legs trembling under the added weight. But she powered through, refusing to let it slow her down too much.

Bianca sighed, sharing a look of sympathy with her sister. "Just focus. We can deal with him later."

After two long days of relentless fighting, the angelic attack finally ceased. Mentally exhausted and in no mood for pleasantries, Kiana and Bianca approached the group, scowling as the rest of them sat in the garden, still relaxed.

"You could've helped, you know," Kiana huffed, glaring at Kevin and the others. "We fought angels for two days without any help!"

Elysia, who had been laughing with Velgrynd, waved her hand dismissively. "You handled it well, didn't you? Besides, someone has to keep the tea warm."

Bianca nodded, though her expression was less confrontational. "Next time, maybe pitch in a little?"

Kevin, feeling somewhat guilty for putting them through the wringer, conjured up a feast of delicious food and sweets. As the heavenly aroma filled the air, Kiana's scowl softened, though she still gave Kevin a small glare.

Kiana, despite herself, couldn't help but smile at the sight of her favorite snacks. She reluctantly grabbed a piece of cake, but as she took a bite, she mumbled under her breath, "Still doesn't make up for it…"

Later that evening, the group sat together for dinner. Between bites, Kiana, still curious, asked, "Why are angels the bad guys? I mean, aren't they supposed to be good? In most stories, they're always on the side of justice."

Kevin, who was leaning back in his chair, paused to consider her question. "It's because of the Ultimate Skill: Justice King Michael," he explained. "Rudra can summon angels from Heaven to do his bidding. But it's not the angels themselves that are evil—it's the one controlling them."

Bianca, always the analytical one, looked up from her plate. "What's the purpose? Why is he using them to attack other countries?"

Velzard, who had been quietly sipping her wine, exchanged a glance with Velgrynd. "It's because of a bet," Velgrynd finally spoke up.

"A long time ago, Rudra made a wager with Guy Crimson which states that they will use their pawns to confront with each other.

His main goal now is to unite all humans under his banner. By sending angels to attack neighboring countries, he weakens them, and when they fall, the Nasca Empire swallows them whole."

"What a twisted use of angels," Kiana muttered, shaking her head in disbelief.

Kevin's voice took on a more somber tone as he added, "Rudra wasn't always like this. In fact, at one point, he was considered a noble ruler. But after the deaths of his sister and mentor, and seeing the cruelty of mankind firsthand, he changed. His ambition turned into tyranny, and now... well, here we are."

As the evening wore on, Kevin couldn't resist teasing Kiana again, poking fun at her for complaining so much during the battle. She pouted, eyes brimming with frustration. Before long, her soft sniffles turned into tears, causing the entire group to fall silent. Even Bianca gave Kevin a disapproving look.

That night, Kevin found himself the subject of silent treatment. Every one of his lovers had decided to ignore him, all except for Jyahanar, who, as always, couldn't resist his charm. With puppy-dog eyes, Kevin pleaded with her, "You're leaving me alone here?"

Jyahanar sighed, giving in to his adorable expression. "You're impossible, you know that?" she muttered with a smile, letting him rest his head in her lap.

Kevin closed his eyes as she gently massaged his head, her fingers weaving through his hair. The tension from the day melted away, but he couldn't help but smile as he snuggled into her lap, wrapping his arm around her waist.

"I'm lucky to have you," Kevin whispered, his voice soft with affection.

Jyahanar blushed slightly, tapping his forehead playfully. "You're lucky I can't say no to you."

The rest of the night was peaceful, filled with quiet intimacy between them, though Kevin knew he'd have to make it up to Kiana and Bianca tomorrow. But for now, he was content, his world secure for the time being.
