Kevin's Authority of Sentience projected his consciousness into the cave where the blue slime, Rimuru, had just been born. The cave was saturated with dense magicules, remnants of Veldora's aura as he hid from Velzard.
Rimuru wandered aimlessly, bumping into walls, struggling without sight—a common limitation for slimes who couldn't yet perceive their surroundings.
But something else caught Kevin's attention.
This wasn't any ordinary cat. Kevin could tell, even from a distance, that the creature was of A-rank caliber. What made it even more fascinating was that it was only four days old. Kevin's curiosity piqued as he decided to observe the cat further, intrigued by its strange movements.
The cat pov
The cave was dark, with little light reaching into its depths. Slowly, the golden eyes of the cat fluttered open, as if awakening from a deep slumber. The cat, confused and dazed, began to piece together its situation.
"Where… am I?" The thought ran through the cat's mind. It remembered drowning in its past life. That cold, suffocating sensation of water filling its lungs. "Did I die? But now… I'm a cat?"
Realization hit hard, and panic ensued. The cat ran around frantically, its small paws flailing as it collided with the cave walls. A loud thud echoed as it yelped in pain from running straight into the stone.
After several hours of wandering aimlessly through the cave, trying to comprehend its new body, the cat stumbled upon something strange—a blue blob.
The cat stopped and stared at the slime for a moment, blinking. "What the hell is this?" the cat muttered, watching the little blob wriggle.
Suddenly, the slime jumped back in surprise, and a voice echoed in the cat's mind.
"AHHH! A TALKING CAT!"
The slime's panicked voice caught the cat off guard for a moment, but then, it clicked. The realization hit hard. "Wait a minute... Is that... a slime? No way, no freaking way!" The cat's eyes widened. "Am I in that world? Is this… Rimuru Tempest?"
As the realization washed over him, a notification screen appeared in front of the cat's golden eyes. A blue screen had activated.

The cat's tail twitched with excitement. "This is going to be fun," he thought, a sinister smirk playing on his feline lips. He had a system of his own, and apparently, by helping or influencing the world's protagonist, Rimuru, he could gain experience and rewards. This second life was going to be much more exciting than the first.
Slime: "W-Who are you?" Rimuru's voice was small, still wary of the talking cat.
Cat: "Who am I? Hah!" The cat let out a mocking chuckle. "I could ask you the same, little slime. But it seems you're the one in need of help, not me."
The slime tilted slightly, confused. "Help?"
The cat sat down elegantly, swishing its tail. "You can't see, can you?" The cat's voice was smooth, almost condescending, as it stared at the aimless blue blob. "That's because you don't know how to use the magicules around you. You're blind, literally."
Rimuru felt a tinge of embarrassment but quickly shook it off. "I don't even know what magicules are supposed to do!"
Cat: "Of course you don't." The cat purred, sounding both sympathetic and superior. *"But lucky for you, I'm here to help. I'll teach you how to gain sight in this world. Start feeling the magicules in the air. They surround everything. Feel how they interact with your body. You just need to sense them."
The slime hesitated but began to follow the cat's instructions. It focused on the sensation of the magicules surrounding it. Slowly, something began to change. The world was still dark, but now it could feel the shapes around it. Then, as if guided by some unknown force, the blue slime suddenly heard a voice echo in its mind:
[MAGIC SENSE OBTAINED]
The slime's vision blossomed into existence. For the first time, it could "see" the shapes and outlines of the world around it, even without eyes. "I-I can see!" Rimuru cried out, bouncing up and down with joy.
"Well, I'm glad you're happy," the cat said with a smirk, though his thoughts were far less friendly. "This is easier than I thought."
They then exchange information with each other and the slime was actually very happy since there was a another reincarnator beside him.
Cat: "Now that you can see, tell me something—what else can you do?" Its tone was calm but firm, eyes gleaming with curiosity as it watched Rimuru bounce happily in the cave.
Rimuru: "What do you mean?"
The cat sighed dramatically, as if it was dealing with a child. "Your abilities. What skills do you have?" It flicked its tail, clearly growing impatient.
So the naive slime explained all his skills to the cunning cat.
Alright. That's ore. You're going to want to eat those."
"Eat them?" Rimuru tilted his head.
"Trust me. You've got that special ability for that—use it," the cat urged, watching as Rimuru's curiosity took over.
Sure enough, Rimuru activated his Predator skill and began devouring the ores, and with each bite ,the cat's own system rewarded him with 50 points, which he quickly used to acquire the skills limit break < which can increase his energy by twice..
"This system really works," the cat thought with satisfaction.
Cat: "Now that you've got a better handle on your skills, it's time for the next step. You need to get stronger. There's no point in having defensive strategies if you don't have the power to back them up."
Rimuru nodded, eager to learn more. "How do I get stronger?"
The cat grinned, flashing sharp teeth. "Simple. Use 'Predator.' Devour the monsters in this cave, absorb their abilities, and grow stronger with each one you consume. It's the fastest way to power up, and trust me, you'll need all the strength you can get."
Rimuru hesitated for a moment. "But… wouldn't that be cruel? Just eating them like that?"
The cat's eyes gleamed with amusement. "Cruel? This world isn't about fairness or kindness. It's about survival. If you don't get stronger, someone else will come along and devour you. And trust me, they won't hesitate." The cat's tone was cold, calculated. "You have a gift, Rimuru. Use it. Or you'll regret it later."
Rimuru hesitated, but only for a moment. "Okay," he agreed. "I'll follow your advice."
And so, Rimuru ventured deeper into the cave, devouring monsters as the cat had instructed.
The cat notice that along with some skills, he also gain increase in magicules.
All the while, Kevin, still watching from his own realm, narrowed his eyes as he observed the cat's behavior.
Kevin's POV:
"Interesting," Kevin mused to himself. "This cat is much more cunning than it lets on. He is pushing Rimuru in directions that suit its own goals."
As he watched further .Kevin thought to himself, " The way he's acting, staring at the air like that—it's just like how I interact with the system. Could he also be… a system user?"
Kevin's thoughts turned toward darker possibilities. "Is there an outer god involved? Or perhaps this is the will of the world itself?"
Whatever the case, Kevin knew one thing: this cat was far more than what he seemed.
*****
Unknown to Kevin, the gods who orchestrated his reincarnation were far from benevolent, and their plans were more complex than he could ever imagine.
These beings—Great Dao Sages—ruled over a realm known as the Main World, where authors unknowingly crafted stories that shaped events in countless other worlds.
The Sages handpicked individuals from the Main World, people with sharp intellects and a burning desire to venture into these "fictional" worlds.
The Players were born—agents of chaos, with their knowledge of future events and their desire to toy with the lives of the world's inhabitants. These Players enjoyed pushing protagonists into difficult situations, making sport of their struggles. The fates of protagonist, anti- hero , side villains and main villains alike were mere tools for their amusement orchestrated by Players using their system.
When the Narrator first extended the offer to humans of the Main World, nearly everyone jumped at the opportunity without a second thought. To live in a world of magic, to become a being of power, to rewrite the story—who could resist? A handful rejected the offer, but with a few simple wishes granted, they too agreed.
Only Karna, a particularly strong-willed individual, resisted until he was granted four wishes—an unprecedented deal in the eyes of the gods. His demands were dangerous, but the Narrator saw potential in him, and so he was unleashed upon one of the many worlds in their grasp.
These gods—called the Great Dao Sages—were led by a being so powerful that his very words shaped reality: the Player God, or Narrator. He was the architect of countless worlds, their grand overseer, and the one who pulled the strings of every Player, every event, every storyline. Yet, even his godly hand was tied when it came to Kevin.
Kevin was supposed to be another one of their pawns, controlled by a system designed by the gods themselves. However, their plan failed, as Kevin never received their intended system.
The system guiding Kevin was actually tied to an inheritance from the Outer Gods Shub-Niggurath and Nodens, ancient outer gods the Sages had once destroyed.
The Narrator and his fellow Great Dao Sages were furious. No matter what they tried, Kevin's actions in Tensura remained unchecked. Their Players, who were supposed to be the hidden hands guiding the world, were being thwarted at every turn by Kevin. The worst part? They could do nothing to stop him directly.
The Player God was enraged by this twist, the system Ai was not an artificial construct but a living entity, a fragment of Yog-Sothoth herself.
It was subtle, constantly guiding him without his full awareness, ensuring he stayed on a path that the Sages could not control.
Narrator (Player God): "Yog-Sothoth has interfered. Kevin should have been under our control, yet now he walks a path outside our reach!"
Sage 1: "What can we do? If we try to act against him directly, we'll provoke a war with the Outer Gods!"
Narrator: "We cannot touch Kevin directly. His system is protecting him... i have cut the connection between him and Yog-Sothohz and thats all i can do , but we can still manipulate the events around him."

The Players in Tensura World:
In the Tensura world, four individuals had been chosen by the Great Dao Sages to act as Players. However, unlike in other worlds, these Players had no contact with each other. They were completely isolated, unaware of each other's identities or goals.
Their only link to the larger game was their individual systems, which fed them tasks and objectives, sometimes in line with the greater divine plan.
One of these Players was the cat Kevin had observed, a manipulative creature using its knowledge to influence the slime, Rimuru, and subtly change the course of the world.
The cat didn't know of the other Players since he is a newly reincarnator and doesn't explore his system fully.
Player Cat: "Heh, this slime is too easy to manipulate. If I guide him properly, I'll rack up points fast."
Meanwhile, in other parts of the world, the other three Players were working on their own tasks, unknowingly linked to the same grand objective: to destabilize Kevin's influence and ultimately eliminate him.
