Mikaela pushed the strange occurrence that happened on the training fields to the back of her mind until she meets with General Pho later. Right now, she needs to focus on her other tasks.
So focused, she bumped into her mother as she was walking into the palace.
"Mikaela, you don't look so good." Lyra held her hand up to her daughter's forehead to test for a fever.
"I'm fine. Just woke up with a bad headache." Mika brushed her mother's worry aside.
"You should get some more rest. It's not good for your mind and body to handle too much work at once."
"En…" Mika wanted that too, but with the clock ticking and spies everywhere she turns, she knows it won't happen.
Lyra sighed internally. Her daughter has put the world on her small shoulders and its starting to wear her down. "What had your attention that you couldn't even see a person standing in front of you?"
