Waking with one Slap

The sun rose high as the gentle breeze touches the face of a lone man in the highest mountain. Various kinds of birds flying and singing around as the dragons soar high in the boundless sky. Beast and human play as the flowers and trees dance along with the gentle breeze.

The man gazing at the horizon, standing at the highest mountain, his eye looked boundless as if the universe is resting inside it. he wore white robes from top to bottom that fits on his tall figure just like a celestial, his long hair flutters with the breeze as his handsome face was full of bitterness, anguish, and sadness.

"It's been a long time since the day I have fallen for you..." the man muttered.

"hey!"

"It shall happen again..." the man muttered again after a long while as tears start to flow down from his eyes.

"hey!"

"Hey!-- are you gonna stay asleep?!" a roar can be heard as a fat bearded man came knocking on the table of a young man.

"You are here to work not to sleep, right?! if you want to sleep just go and apply for a leave!" the fat belly kept rising and falling as he panted from anger. Even the other people around are staring at the young man.

"ah? huh?-- ah Zhifang, sorry I--" the young man woke up dizzily.

"sorry what?! don't you know what day is it?! the boss-- our boss is coming here today!"

"huh? what day is it?"

"god! are you kidding me?! it's the 15th of June!... 15th! stupid!"

"eh?! wait! what? what's with 15?" the young man confusingly asked

"huh? what happened to you? are you ok?" Zhifang-the fatty asked with a worried expression as he finds it strange to see his friend dozing off for the first time. and waking up confuse.

Fatty Zhifeng knew that his friend may be shameless at times but he always works hard and put his all on his job. he never sees or expected that his friend can even doze off while working. He did not take it to the heart when he saw him dozing off when they are outside as every human need to rest but doing it in the middle of work and whats more he woke confused and forgotten what day it is.

If it's just a normal day, Zhifeng won't bother much but this day? he was preparing for this day for months so he will naturally think it strange for his friend to act like this and will naturally be worried.

"I--I feel like I was in a dream world and I saw someone,"

"What is that that will happen?" still confused, the young man muttered.

The young man was shocked. He looked around and saw stars, planets asteroids, and shards, like broken glass. what caught his attention the most was those shards, it extended to infinite as if those shards can occupy a quarter of the universe. If a normal person saw this place, they will merely think that they were just floating in space but the young man knows that this isn't just a space or solar system but it was a universe. He looked intently and he knows that some asteroids are planets that can't be reached by the lights of the stars and some asteroids are as big as planets or even bigger. The young man also saw entities that eat stars and planets along with their path and some kind of tunnels that connect to one part of the universe to another.

He admits this is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. the starts glittered as new planets start to form. he doesn't know why he isn't afraid of those entities but one thing he knew, his mind became clear and calm as if he was at home relaxing his body and mind.

He looked at the shard again as he felt something whenever he stares at it and suddenly felt that it was all a fragment, fragments of something. he feels that it's not supposed to be in there but it was needed there. he felt that it was familiar but not, close but far, important yet no value but he can't tell what it is. he can tell that every fragment has life. it radiates life as if one touch of those can bring thousands of people alive, those are what decides life and death, and it's as if the heart of the universe.

<It's a fragment but it feels like alive, what are those?"> the young man was just thinking these when a loud slap is heard that disrupt him in that place bringing him back on reality.

slap! bang!

The young man- on the floor was dazed at first then when he felt the pain in his cheek, he already knows what the slapping sound was and got mad but just as he was about to hit back, he was stupefied as he saw the person who hit him. He trembled as cold sweat started to roll down at his back.

"Are you awake now?" a cold voice was heard as everyone one the office started to tremble. Fatty Zhifeng was on the side with his pale face and trembling fats.

It was a woman, her long black hair flows down at her black coat, her black pencil skirt outlined her round, and juicy-- I mean firm buttocks. her eyes are cold but were covered with shades and her face is jaw-droppingly beautiful. she is the perfect definition of 'cold beauty'.

"need more slap before you stand up?" Su Fei was immediately infuriated as he saw the young man still taking his moments on the floor.

What she disdains the most is people who slack while piling their job on others-- Irresponsible, she also disdains people who ignore her just like what this young man did to her a while ago when she is talking to him, she tags them as haughty people-- Self-important, and she disdains this young man to the very core-- hate.

Yes, in the eyes of Su Fei this young man is irresponsible, self-important, shameless, and disgusting that is why she hates him.

although she only heard of him on the rumors she hears around her she still chose to believe as she can now see it with her own eyes.

The young man was who was dazed at first was now braking in cold sweat because he knew who this tyrant ogre is. He admits that almost hit her back, that slap made him came back to reality. he recalled what day is now and the reason why he was slapped, but he still wonders what that dream was that made him muddled-headed and spaced-out during work hours.
