Meeting Again

"Do you need help?" He extended his hand as he asked.

"Thanks" I replied as I took the hand of the most beautiful person on earth.

"Nice to meet you," Alexander D'cruz said, extending his hand towards me for a handshake and stopping me from daydreaming.

"Nice to meet you too" I replied as I took his hand for a handshake while thinking He is still the most beautiful person on earth.

We proceeded to a meeting room as this was the first official meeting of Alexander D'cruz the CEO of Fox Enterprise and me: Katie Roussel the CEO of A.K Enterprise.

The meeting started but, this was the first time I am ignoring the person who is speaking and all my attention is on Alexander. He knows I am looking at him and doing his best to ignore me. But, I know he is paying attention to me because he is nervous. And I know he is nervous because he is playing with his hands out of habit.

"Let's take a break" I gather all the attention to myself as I say this.

" Where is the restroom?" Alex asks my secretary. She was going to show him the way but I interrupted and told her that I will show him the way.

We go towards the restroom but I stop him in an empty corridor.

"Can we talk?" I ask hesitantly. He nods and waits patiently for me to talk but all I can think of is to kiss him and I do just that. He kisses me back hungrily because this is the first time we are kissing in years.

The kiss reminds me of all the times I was with him, together and happy.

We part as we start gasping for air but his hand is still on my back and mine in his hair.

He says Sorry and turns to go into the restroom and I wait for him by resting on a wall. After a while, he comes back and I call him "Alex" But, he says "Let's not." and goes back to the meeting room.

I go to the restroom as I have to fix my lipstick and I too return to the meeting room.
