So We Have to Thank You?

Editor: Atlas Studios

After a moment of surprise, the stout Auror Captain questioned him.

"These Dementors were ordered to investigate Hogwarts and search for fugitives. Why would you banish them and kill them? You are interfering with a Ministry search!"

The two Aurors did not look happy. They were part of the team tasked with overseeing the Dementors' search.

Now, not only was the mission incomplete, but it also caused a conflict. When they returned, they might be punished by the Ministry.

Hermione and Ron looked at Ivan with concern. They had thought that the Dementors had attacked the train, and were delighted that Ivan had defeated so many of them.

Ivan's face did not change as the two Aurors questioned him.

"Sir, I was just about to report that we have just been attacked by Dementors, and that Harry Potter was injured and knocked out cold, so I had to use the Psion Guard to fight them off."

Ivan then stepped aside so that the two Aurors could see Harry, who was unconscious.

Hearing that someone had been injured, the rotund Auror Captain's expression changed slightly, and he turned to look at Ivan, only to notice Harry lying pale-faced on the ground behind him.

He hurried forward to investigate and found that it was indeed because of the Dementors. At the same time, the Auror Captain noticed the lightning-shaped scar on Harry's forehead and his heart skipped a beat.

"Harry Potter, you say? Not the Harry Potter who destroyed You-Know-Who?"

"That's right, Harry Potter! The Dementors that came in to search attacked Harry, and that's why I killed them. I didn't think the other Dementors would be so crazy as to gather around."

Ivan explained, then turned to the young wizards gathered at the door and spoke to them.

"If you don't believe me, you can ask everyone!"

Ivan used Harry's unconsciousness as an excuse to frame the Dementors as out of control and attempting to attack the students.

As long as the young wizards were willing to believe it, they could write a letter to their families and many wizard parents would naturally put pressure on the Ministry.

Not only can the Ministry not blame him, but they must praise him…

The young wizards and witches who had been frightened by the Dementors earlier were, of course, agitated, as no one would like an evil creature that took pleasure from them, and they rallied around Ivan to vent their anger.

"Hales is right! Those Dementors are horrible…"

"The Dementor that searched our compartment refused to leave. It must have been wondering if it should attack us. Luckily, Hals managed to get rid of it…"

"I'm going to tell my dad to put these Dementors in Azkaban…"

"In Azkaban? Do they lock themselves in?"

The two Aurors looked at the agitated crowd and smiled bitterly. They had come to denounce them, but now they were being persecuted.

The stout Auror Captain silently cursed the Dementor that had turned to ash.

Before carrying out this mission, he had specially warned these brainless things to restrain themselves and not attack the students on the train!

Who would have thought that something like this would happen? Even if the Dementor had attacked an ordinary student, it would have been easier, but it was the infamous Harry Potter!

If word got out that the Dementors had attacked Harry Potter, they would be inundated with letters of complaint.

"Is there anything else you would like to know, gentlemen?" Ivan asked.

The stout Auror Captain hesitated, then said in frustration, "No, there isn't. You did a good job of repelling the Dementors in time…"

"I'm just doing a little work," Ivan said demurely. The Merlin on his chest seemed to shine even brighter…

The two Aurors saw Ivan's medal and recognized him. No wonder this young wizard was able to fight off so many Dementors.

Thinking of this, the two Aurors smiled bitterly at each other. After figuring out the cause and effect, they planned to gather the escaped Dementors and return to the Ministry to explain the situation.

After such a terrible mistake, it would be a mercy to be scolded…

The two of them were about to teleport away when they heard Ivan's voice behind them.

"Mr. and Mrs. Aurors, I believe this attack is due entirely to the chaotic and evil nature of the Dementors community. I will write a letter to the Ministry of Magic explaining the situation."

The stout Auror Captain turned to Ivan with a look of surprise and gratitude.

"Then I'll have to trouble you, Hulse…"

With Ivan's reminder, the pair realised that they could try and shift the blame to the Dementors.

As for what the Dementors thought?

They can't speak, so they can only express simple thoughts, and no one cares about the complaints of Dementors…

With this idea in mind, the two Aurors quickly vanished in front of everyone.

As the new professor, Lupin took it upon himself to calm the young wizards blocking the door and send them back to their compartment.

Lupin then looked at Ivan, who had returned to his seat and was quietly flipping through his book as if nothing had happened.

Lupin had just witnessed the entire incident with his own eyes. When the two Aurors came to question him, he was worried that Ivan would not handle it well and would be taken away for investigation.

However, Ivan not only managed to get rid of the two Aurors who were about to question him, he even had to thank him…

Lupin was struck by a new appreciation for Ivan's wit,

Recalling the two Defence Against the Dark Arts professors whose identities had been revealed by Ivan, Lupin had a headache. He doubted he could hide his identity as a werewolf for long…

Without the Dementors, the stopped train soon began to move, its bright whistle ringing in their ears, and thick white smoke pouring out of the chimney.

While Ivan continued to flip through the Potions books, he took a moment to look at the system column.

He had expected to gain the achievement of a Dementor's Enemy by driving off hordes of Dementors in front of so many people, but alas, there was nothing…

He wondered what the standards of achievement were. Had he not done enough?

Ivan pondered this for a moment, then dismissed it. Achieving five Legendary points was crucial, but not the most important thing at the moment.

Getting hold of the Time-Turner and completing the potion's modifications is the priority…
