Divine Blade Shadowless Curse!

Editor: Atlas Studios

"What were you talking about?" Hermione asked as she slammed her book down on the hall table and gave Ron a look, indicating that he should make room for her.

"We had a funny story about Lockhart in class!" Ivan said casually as he sliced a steak.

"It's not a story, it's what really happened," Hermione corrected him, and then added, a little heatedly.

"I had no idea Professor Lockhart had so many dangerous experiences before he befriended a werewolf wizard!"

Maybe he didn't make it up at the time… Ivan thought, speechless, but he didn't want to argue with Hermione. It was too difficult to convince a crazy fan of a witch.

Besides, he didn't even know if Lockhart would make it through the year, so he didn't really care…

During the meal, she talked about Lockhart's books, and Ivan pretended to listen carefully, but his eyes were fixed on the strand of brown hair that had fallen over Hermione's shoulder.

"What is it?" asked Hermione, noticing Ivan staring at her and turning to look at him quizzically.

"Wait… don't move!" Ivan said suddenly, and leaned over.

Hermione watched as Yvonne's finger came closer and closer to her cheek, suddenly nervous, but quickly aware that Yvonne merely brushed her finger across her shoulder and then withdrew it.

Hermione gave Ivan a suspicious look.

"It's nothing. Just dust!" Ivan smiled and discreetly held the brown hair in his palm.

After lunch, Ivan found a reason to refuse Harry's offer to go with him, and went alone to the tapestry on the eighth floor of the castle.

I need a room where I can brew potions and fight!

The next moment, however, Ivan opened his eyes to find a large, polished door set into the wall, as if it had been there all along.

Yvonne knew her way around the door and pushed it open.

The Room of Requirement was divided into two parts, one on the right and one on the right. It looked as if the two venues had been forcibly joined together.

On the left was a large, ornately-decorated training ground, ending in a pile of training dummies and obstacles.

On the right were many bottles and jars, as well as a mouthful of phlegm.

There were also tools such as forceps and knives.

This made the room seem strange, although Ivan had to admit that the Room of Requirement did satisfy him.

After thinking about it for a while, Ivan went to the cupboard on the right and opened it, only to find that the Room of Requirement had thoughtfully brought all of his remaining potion ingredients.

Flipping through her copy of Advanced Potion-Making, Ivan found a few tips on brewing Polyjuice Potion on one of the pages.

Polyjuice Potion was not a potion that sixth year students had to learn, but Snape's textbook not only contained information from the book, but also contained research notes on potion knowledge and charm theory.

Otherwise, there would not be a self-created charm like Shadowless Blade recorded in it.

Grasshoppers…fluid grass…broken snakeskin from African tree snakes…

Ivan took out the ingredients for the Polyjuice Potion, and treated them one by one according to the instructions, then placed them in the cauldron and stirred them evenly with his wand.

If Snape's writings were accurate, the brewing time of the potion would be greatly reduced, and the Polyjuice Potion would be ready in a few days.

Fifteen minutes passed in the blink of an eye. Ivan, having completed all the necessary procedures, put the potion aside and waited for it to settle in the cauldron.

Ivan spent the rest of the day trying out the new spell on the training ground.

"Shadowless!" Ivan said, casting a spell on the dummy.

Without the glorious spell light…

Invisible magical waves swept out from the wand like invisible blades, quickly slicing through the air.

Yvonne could only see the wooden dummy in the distance shudder, deep gashes opening up on its right chest…

Upon closer inspection of the effects, Ivan found that the power of the Shadowless Blade had far exceeded his expectations, especially since the scars were being held back by a strange magical barrier.

Ivan tried to restore it with the Regeneration Charm, but to no avail.

If it had not been for the fact that very few people knew about it, and that Snape had a special counter-curse to heal wounds, perhaps the Obscurus Charm would have been classified as an Unforgivable Curse…

Most importantly, this spell was still in its infancy and had a lot of room for improvement.

With this in mind, Ivan waved his wand again and again to practice.

The targets in front of and to either side of them were shot to pieces, and every few minutes a dummy would be dismembered and scattered on the ground…

The practice lasted several days, and it was not until Friday evening that Ivan found out that his Shadowless Blade had been upgraded to level three.

The power of the charm also increased in a straight line. After using the strengthening charm sequence every six hours, one could easily cut off the head of an entire rehearsing dummy!

If it were used on a wizard, Ivan would be horrified at the mere thought of it. The power of a straight line was even more terrifying than the Thunderbolt Explosion he had used, although it was slightly inferior in range…

With such a powerful spell, even if the opponent had an Armor Charm cast on them beforehand, they would still be pierced through in an instant and be beheaded!

"It would be a shame if it contained a counter-curse." Ivan flipped through Advanced Potion-Making, searching the entire book for a counter-curse that could not be found.

This meant that the spell could only be used in a life-or-death situation.

After all, the injuries caused by the Shadowless Blade could not be healed. If one were to casually release it, it would easily cause irreversible consequences…

After practicing for a while and destroying the targets in the Room of Requirement one by one, Ivan, whose magic was exhausted, turned his attention to the brewed Polyjuice Potion.

Over the course of the past few days, Ivan explored most of the places on the Marauder's Map that he had not been to before, and found that the progress bar for the quest had stopped at sixty percent.

Other than the Basilisk Chamber, a dangerous and mysterious place, the only other places he could visit were the dormitories and lounges of the three major academies!

This was also why he worked so hard to brew the Polyjuice Potion…

(P.S.: Please help the poor and helpless author, and give him a Like at the Battle of Glory. The Angel is in the Fujian Division and will soon be in the Top 15. Depressed…)
