Chapter 4: A Support-Class

"Support- Class, Healing Type."

After Mr. Hanze announced Gabriel's class, murmurs could be heard around the classroom

"Oh, that's a shame..."

"Hahaha, I'm dying of laughter."

"Oh my god, our top scorer, is really a support - class?"

At the same time, around the classroom room, a silhouette of a tall and dark figure standing in the corner. He wasn't particularly handsome, but he exuded an air of power and authority that commanded attention. Surrounding him were his henchmen, who seemed to be basking in his presence.

One of the henchmen couldn't contain his laughter as he addressed the man, calling him "Boss." "Hahaha, did you see that?" he exclaimed. "Your rival is nothing but a support type." The rest of the henchmen chuckled along, clearly amused by the situation.

"I can see that Hehe" Tigram said while grinning

"Karma is a bitch ant it? Now he awakened a support– class and he can't raise his level by himself, not unless he has a party, oh Gabriel it's my time to shine, I'll make sure I will get the number one spot in the coming assessment" Tigram said to himself.

Gabriel stood frozen as the student below began to discuss something. But before he could react, Mr. Hanz, their teacher, interrupted with a loud voice. "Everyone be quiet!" he exclaimed. "Let's finish the awakening ritual and get ready for the next one." The rest of the class fell silent as Mr. Hanz continued, "We still have a lot to cover today, so let's stay focused. Next..."

Gabriel had just finished his awakening ceremony and was descending from the podium. As he walked down, he was lost in deep thought.

In the gaming world, healers are an important class that is sought after, and the healing-type support class is one of the most popular and respected classes. They keep the party alive during fights, remove debuffs, and can even revive the dead.

However, in the real world, these abilities only become crucial at higher levels where monsters have higher damage and are harder to kill. At the beginning stage of awakening, all power levels are the same, and the combat power is not very high. The experience requirement is also very high, making it difficult for beginner Orions to level up quickly. Due to this, most people prefer to grind alone or form a party with the same fighter class or control-type support to increase the number of kills.

This strategy gives them a better chance of leveling up and progressing. Moreover, any damage received can be easily healed using potions, so the need for a healing-type support is not as crucial in the early stages of the game.

This makes it even more difficult for the healer support type to level up. They would rather level up alone than split the experience they will receive with the healing-type support class. Therefore, the healing-type support class is left with no choice but to level up alone, which can be a daunting task.

When it comes to support classes, they are typically divided into three distinct categories.

The first category is the Healer Type, and as the name suggests, these characters are primarily focused on keeping party members alive. They constantly keep an eye on the health bar of each party member, making sure none of the members get killed. They also have access to a variety of healing spells and abilities that can help restore the health of their allies amid battle.

The second category is the Control Type, which is a bit different from the Healer Type. These support characters are focused on putting debuffs on the enemy team. This could include things like slowing down their movement, lowering their defence, or even causing them to become confused or stunned. The main goal of the Control Type is to control enemy units so that the Tanker can take less damage or avoid damage altogether.

The third category is the Praise Type, which is similar to the Control Type, but with the opposite role. Instead of casting debuffs on the enemy, they cast buffs on their teammates that increase their base stats, immunity, defence, health, attack, movement speed, and more. These characters are focused on enhancing the abilities of their party members to help them be more effective in battle.

Overall, each of these support classes brings something unique to the table and can be a valuable addition to any party. Whether you need healing, control, or buffs, there is a support class out there that can help you achieve your goals.

Gabriel was taken aback by the unexpected news he received.

He muttered to himself, "I didn't expect that I would awaken a support – class."

Despite his initial surprise, he managed to remain composed and move returning toward to his seat. There, he was planning on reviewing his status, examining each detail carefully to ensure that he was well-prepared for whatever lay ahead.

As he approached the chair, his eyes widened with a mixture of amazement and disbelief. But before he even had a chance to sit down, he was hit by a wave of excitement that made his hand shake uncontrollably.

It was a feeling he had never experienced before - a sense of overwhelming joy that seemed to consume his entire being. He couldn't help but wonder if what he was seeing was actually real or if it was all just a figment of his imagination.

As he stood there, taking it all in, he realized that this moment would be etched in his memory forever.
