Food Seduction.....

Break time,

"I hope you did as i told you,right?",asked Halsey,

"Yeah, but it's not that easy bae,she is the hard to get type....and about the same matter...i doubt she's gay....can you imagine she said she'd hit me!!!..it's a clear sign that she ain't interested, "Lizzy tried to reason with Halsey but she just rolled her eyes,not caring at all about what was said,

"By the way,you still haven't told me the reason why i have to do this, i mean...the girl you expect me to woo she doesn't seem to be lesbian at all,i kind of believed her when she stated that fact, she was being sincere though...and she seems to be a lovely person,why would you want to...",

"Shut up!!!", Halsey cut through, "Don't stick your nose elsewhere just do your job it ....i picked you because i knew you were the right person for the job but am starting to have doubts.... since when did you start caring about people's words ?

"You should be glad i thought about you first above everyone i know...but if you feel like you can't handle the job,i'd be glad to replace you this instant!!",Halsey fritted her teeth as she glared at the imbisle infront of her.

On the contrary, Lizzy was frustrated,she wasn't used to taking girls by force least of all the ones that had no interest in the same gender, most of the ones she targeted were always on book list whwere she had every information about them before shooting her shot.

Now looking at this ex of hers who's so obsessed with this Kylie girl,she had no idea what occured between the two for Halsey to be this mad,

"Bae,is everything alright?",she asked to show she was concerned,of course she didn't care to know,

"What?!.... don't call me that again,am not your bae anymore! the word is ex! capital letters EX!! am your ex! get it in that brain of yours...and lastly, don't dare spill anything about us to ANYONE",Halsey blared out.

"Just do your job and...go according to what we planned",

With that said,she then clapped her hands to have her minions follow right behind her.

Lizzy was left there to dwell in her own confusion,

'Now how the hell am i going to deal with this woman?

she's just too much! do this! do that! come here,go there, am getting fed up!! sometimes i wonder what i saw in her back then,

`If you dare spill anything to anyone....

How dare she threaten me! yet i made her who she is,

My Elsie...you've changed so much and i don't like it one bit but don't worry i'll put you in your place,just taking it easy on you....'

Lizzy put all her complains aside,she embarked on the initial plan given by Halsey,

After, she went looking around for Kylie,she searched around; the cafeteria but failed to spot her, the girls' changing room and toilets but nothing,the training grounds for the athletes but still no clue,

she even went back to Kylie's classroom and still failed to find her there.

Now standing at the entrance of the school's open stadium,with her hands on her waist,Lizzy kept ranting to herself,"Where could this woman be? i've checked everywhere and am tired now...this is harder than i thought,if i keep doing this,i bet i'll look like a skinny chicken by the end of it all...

Well, this is my last piece of hope",

After some time, she entered, climbed the stairs till she was way up,

on reaching the top,the first thing she did was rest both hands on her knees while gasped for air,she was exhausted from moving around.

Seconds went by then Lizzy straightened her body,

looking at the sky,she sighed,deep within her,she didn't want to do this but curious to know why Halsey was plotting all kinds of traps for the poor new student who just joined the school,she had to do it.

Afterwards,she started looking around ,there were few people in and some on the pitch,

looking at the occupied seats,her eyes lingering from person to person as she moved around trying to spot Kylie,

Unfortunately,she failed,she even gazed down at the people on the pitch but to no avail and just as she thought this was the end,deciding to give up,that all hope was lost and turning around to leave,her eyes landed on the souvenir she was looking for.

Kylie was seated at the last seats all way up there,she chose this spot considering it more peaceful ,where no one would bother her,talking wierd things about her she didn't understand.

She sat there quietly busy on her laptop,since the tests were next week,she wanted to do her best to show her father she was making good use of the fees,

inspite all the challenges her family is facing,her father had tried to at least to provide every bit of everything.

Judging from how badly they were hit fanancially,Kylie didn't think she'd even be able to go shooling again and she was content with that,as long as there was food placed on the table for everyone,she didn't mind.

But who would have known that God had different plans for her,plans to prosper her.

Despite her concetration on her work,she felt someone's presence next to her but being the serious type of person when it comes to work,she decided to ignore the person,may be it was one of those stupid cockroaches spouting nonsense.

Time passed with Kylie still glued to her laptop but as each second ticked,the more the irritation kept brewing within her because of she couldn't concetrate with the someone beside her who kept staring.

Reaching her limit,she lifted her head to take a look at the idiot! who was driving away her concetration.

On seeing the person, her eyes widened abit'What is she doing here?! didn't i make myself clear....may be her ears are malfunctioning coz of all those pins'

Kylie raised her brow in question,demanding an explanation but the girl didn't speak,just kept staring.

'So you won't speak?! you came here all the way to just look at me,huh? wait and see if i'll open my mouth as if i'm the one who came here because i lack what to do'

Time passed with the two in a great staring contest,

Lizzy had a smirk on her face while Kylie,a blank expression.

Seconds ticked with each still not uttering a word,

"You know you have beautiful eyes,right ,"Lizzy was the one who broke the silence with a compliment,she then brought out an apple from God knows where.

Twirling it swiftly on her finger as she looked back at Kylie,she afterwards took a bite but so slow that even a tortoise passing by would be compared faster.

Lizzy's intention was to try and gain the girl's attention,she wanted the girl's focus to be on her lips and no where else,

This being one of her tactics, the 'Food seduction' method,the most important step was to lick her lips after taking a bite from the fruit....

Meaning,Kylie who was watching this all,was getting more and more agitated,she watched the girl eat the apple,she felt like slapping it on the ground,on mud,

no...in dirty water,

'Why eat an apple like that!!!....just a matter of chewing and swallowing yet... '

Lizzy could sense Kylie's anger directed towards her as she ate her apple,

'What's the big deal? i'm just eating you know',she thought inwardly but didn't stop what she was doing.

Kylie then covered her face with a book,she could feel her veins popping.....taking in a deep breath,placed the book aside,she had to do something,

She turned to the Lizzy girl who was still eating the apple,

"Give it to me", she said while stretching out her hand,

Lizzy on the other hand was confused, did the girl not fall for her trick,

'Oh God help me!!!",she cried internally.

Without a choice she just handed the barely eaten apple over to Kylie,

"Thank you", Kylie uttered in reply,

"You know, if your hungry you should have said so, I brought something for the day",

Kylie reached for her bag,she brought out a large sized food container,

Lizzzy who was watching was at loss of words,she remained quiet...

Kylie opened the container,it had different sections inside where one could place different foods ,there was also the side for the cups ,with it came like five cups,let's not forget the part with spoons and forks...

Kylie opened the part with the food,there were snacks at one end, then lunch food at the other....

Lizzy ws stupefied,she could believe her eyes,she had to rub her eyes to check whether what she was seeing was real,

when she was sure that she wasn't,she took her time to admire the delicious and mouth watering foods infront of her....

Kylie removed the snacks they were going to eat from the container and placed them out and closed the container.

She afterwards turned to Lizzy," Here", she said giving it to her,

Lizzy was more than ready to accept this meal but she halted....she remembered something,she always had to be cautious of what people gave her,just like her mother always told her.

"What? it's very delicious and you don't have to worry about me putting anything...am not that desperate to have you gone forever", Kylie uttered clearly seeing the girl's change in action,

" You mean,you don't want me here?....you don't like me being by your side,mmmh?", Lizzy said mischievously,

Kylie could see the girl was back to her annoying behaviour and she was too going to go with the flow.....

"Well, yes... you're presence is disturbing and annoying too

", she mumbled,

Lizzy was a little...a tiny....very tiny bit cracked by Kylie's words but didn't let it show, she wasn't going to give in yet,not now.

"Then why didn't you chase me away? or could have just got up left....but honestly,I don't mind being disturbing,I've heard it from a lot of people and am fine with their judgement,I mean they're not wrong...it's my way of getting what I want,darling", Lizzy reached for Kylie's face and slightly lifted her chin.

Kylie's veins were popping,'Lord help me with this.....!!!!!',she then slapped the girl's hand that was holding her chin,

Lizzy didn't mind this little action,infact she was having her own fun with this stubborn lady,

"Are you always this violent?", she asked,

Kylie didn't answer the question,she instead,gave the sandwich to the girl to stop her from talking,

" Just eat this",she uttered,

"Okay".

Lizzy ate her sandwich and surprisingly it was very good compared to the ones she's ever tasted...

With time it was half way and Kylie handed her a blue berry shake.The two ate in an uncomfortable silence which was mainly on Lizzy side since Kylie was busy on her laptop and cared less about the silence.

Lizzy suddenly burped which totally shocked her because she had been training herself for the past few years on how to act more lady-like and here she was producing sounds like a maniac!!!

With flushed cheeks and ears she slowly lifted her eyes and as expected the workaholic was staring at her and this made her blush the more out of embarrassment....

Kylie simply smiled at Lizzy,she found this side of her amusing. Lizzy smiled back as she rubbed the back of he head in consolation.

"Is this the part where they became friends?", Martha whose eyes were sparkling with interest at the beginning were now dull with sleep,she could barely hold her head straight.

She had to use her small hands to support her head which felt heavier than the rest of her body but she was determined to hear the whole story because they hadn't even reached the main part of the story...

Kylie could see how stubborn her sister was acting because she was clearly tired but trying to fight her body's needs,

"Yeah,infact...they became best friends that trusted and relied on each other. Lizzy got to know Kylie more as a person and saw no reason tarnish the girl's reputation, she backed out of Halsey's plan and any thing to do with her.

The two walked home together and did almost everything together..."

"You mean you were okay with Lizzy being gay? you never once condemned her against It?", Martha interrupted as she rubbed her eyes,

"I could not stop her because it was who she was, I did not not know much about her or what could have made her choose to be that way and that is why I never judged her", Kylie explained.

" May be you were afraid of the outcome because I say no matter who the person is,as long as they are in wrong you should correct them if you truly care about them ", Martha uttered before arranging the pillow on which she laid her head to sleep leaving Kylie puzzled due to the piece of advice she gave a moment ago.

She afterwards whispered a faint good night before drifting of to sleep.

Kylie too adjusted the blanket before resting her body on the soft bed,let out long frustrated sigh ,she closed her eyes and too fell into a deep slumber...
