Sean turns red and laughs to cover his embarrassment. This makes me feel a little better. Colin looks disgusted, no doubt not wanting to think about what his brother might get up to in the privacy of his room with another guy.
“Really, I think I should find a room somewhere,” I insist, looking at Sean, who shakes his head.
“No, don’t worry. Mum’s right, there’s enough room for everybody. If you want, I’ll show you upstairs so you can freshen up and rest a little.”
It’s seven in the evening and I should stay up a few more hours, but I’m too tired.

The room is really big, with windows looking out at the front garden and the ocean. It’s a pity it’s dark; who knows how beautiful it will look tomorrow morning? But at least I won’t risk seeing a skating Santa Claus.
