Introducing Damien Paul
Damien Paul is a young and talented businessman. He is studying business. It is his last year at the university after that he will completely take over his family business. He is a very extraordinarily intelligent student at his university. Damien has gotten so many awards from his school life to his university. He is sophisticated and decent. Not only he is intelligent but he is also handsome. He is 6'8 in height and with a muscular body, he looks so dashing when he comes into the university wearing a suit.
He is the elder
child of his parents and heir of an empire. His father Simson Paul is a multi-billionaire with many multinational companies inside and outside the country. They have restaurants, hotels, clubs and ports...
Damien is twenty-five. He was very concentrated on his studies but after an uneventful condition. He has to look after his business. At a very
young age, he had seen his father getting on the verge of death.
A year ago, Simson Paul
got a heart attack and went into a coma. Damien was so scared, he was so worried about his father. Damien took care of his father day and night.
Simson's condition got a little better and he came out of the comma. But the doctors suggested; that he take complete rest without taking any stress. Simson was worried about his business because both his sons were staying. And, there was no one that Simson trusted with his business.
Damien realised that it was time when he would take on his responsibilities. He asked his father to not get worried, he said he would look after everything... That's how all the responsibility of the business and family came upon his shoulders.
Damien continued to study and do work at the same time... Damien had two more hobbies, he loved to play the guitar and he was a fantastic painter. No one knew about his secret hobbies. It was the things he does alone.
Being so busy and belonging to a respectful family, Damien had a reputation to reserve. So, he didn't get involved in any dirty business that would ruin his name or reputation. He doesn't have time
for love or affairs.
Damien was so famous in the city as a young,
handsome and single bachelor. But after he took over the business, he was all over the news and magazines. People say he is so arrogant and out of
reach, he is a strict boss. And he doesn't like people who talk back or try to disrespect him.
There is one more secret that no one knew about him, it is that he is dominant. He doesn't like girls who argue with him or deny his commands.
It happened so many times, young girls threw themselves at
him. He enjoyed their company for fun but no one could amaze him. So, he was never involved in a serious relationship with anyone...
He needs a girl who does anything he wants her to do... But no girl in his world impressed or surprised him.
Damien was sitting in his office, his dark brown eyes were fixed on the laptop screen, the curled lashes were creating a shadow on his cheekbones, and his beard was a little grown. His fingers were working on his laptop keypad creating a continuous tik, tik... sound in the quiet office.
He was wearing a black suit with a plain white inner and a black tie, all his composure showed the decent and serenity of his body language. He was confident and very professional.
"May, I come in?" Someone said. His lips were lined seriously curved up in a smile hearing the voice.
"Haha, you came back?" He said with a smile on his face.
"Yes, brother..." The boy said from outside. He didn't wait for Damien to say anything, he entered the office.
"Daniel!" Damien got up from his seat, went towards hai brother then hugged him.
"I missed you," Damien said. They both look so familiar just Daniel's hair was dirty blonde, he is twenty.
"Brother, I also missed you and Mom and Dad. I missed everything and everyone..." He said laughing.
"Haha, come sit," Damien said going back to his seat. Daniel sat on the opposite seat.
"When did you get back? Why didn't you call me? I would have picked you." Damien rained the questions on him.
"Brother, I came back early in the morning, I knew you would have come to the office. So, I didn't disturb you. And I am not a child anymore... I don't need rides." He winked mischievously.
"Haha, okay, okay. How were your exams? Did you do good? What about the results?" Damien asked.
"Brother, don't question me like dad. I just answered all these questions." He twitched his mouth.
"Daniel..." Damien gave him a look.
"Okay, big bro, I passed with an A+, I will join college next week." He said formally. Damien's face was shining brightly with a smile.
"Wow! Yes, I knew it. Congratulations, Daniel. You made us proud." Damien smiled.
"How are you holding up brother? Mom was right, you look exhausted." Daniel asked worrying about his brother.
"I am fine. Everything is good. Don't worry about me. You just pay attention to your studies." He said.
"Yes, brother." He said.
"So, you are invited to our college for the annual function. You would be the guest of honour. I am so proud of my big brother." Daniel said. Damien smile.
"I will come to see the talented people and choose some interns to work in our company," Damien told him.
Daniel nodded his head. Both of the brothers start talking about Daniel's studies and business...
(In Leila's House)
It's been a day, and Leila hasn't slept the whole night, she was crying hiding herself under a blanket watching her parents' photos. It was unbelievable for her, she was trying to calm down. She was trying to make herself understand but it was so difficult for her.
Leila's eyes welled up with tears. She didn't eat anything, she didn't want to talk to anyone... It felt as if her life was stopped at one point.
Cara was behaving so oddly as if nothing happened. She was eating breakfast and behaving normally. Leila was so surprised by it. How can she react as if it was all normal? Her brother went to the office.
Cara went out of the house. Leila was feeling as if the house was shrinking on her, she was lying on her bed thinking about her life.
What will happen now? How will she live without her parents? It is so difficult to think that they are no more... But the reality was that she saw their graves. It was all true. How will her life come back to normal?
She curled up in a ball, the tears rolled down from her eyes, and they vanished into her pillow.
"It will be alright, Leila. Don't cry." She heard her mother's soothing voice.
"Mom, Dad, I miss you so much." She cried.
