Software to specifically run brain simulations wasn't a big deal for the people in faculty or Ph.D. positions, but doing it in the second year of university, without any help, is something unheard of even here where only cream of the crop of elite schools was admitted.
"So? What was the outcome? Did it go as expected? Also, where did you find volunteers who would be willing to let their brains be monitored?"
Monitoring brain activities rarely had any risk. But the experiment Xixi was talking about was more than merely observing the brain activities. It required outside simulations which if even went slightly wrong could lead to the patient turning into a vegetable. She didn't have enough credentials to convince people.
She could of course give false information and make a few over-enthusiastic people agree, but she wasn't the kind of person to do so.
"I performed it on myself." She said.
