Chapter 14: Pregnant

"The kids are late.." Erica sighed and gazed at her watch. .

"Maybe they are lost?" That's not possible, they always come here so they probably won't get lost anymore! And they are genius! I'm not saying this because they came from my blood, they are really genius!

The boys suggested that I should let them study, already. But I know better, they might be smart and all but I don't want them to get bullied. Mirk once punched his playmate because they bullied Yelena, telling that they don't have a father.

They went home full of wounds and scratches. Yelena is crying while Mirk is eyeing me coldly. Since that day if I'm busy one of the boys would accompany them.

Deep inside, I know Mirk has an hidden hate on me. And I can understand that, after all I made them fatherless.

I went out to look for them but before that I was planning to go in Mr. Genius office. I need to discuss something. But before I could enter the door open that it hits my face!

"You!-" I was interrupted when a small hand tug my skirt. I look down to only saw a small kid, pouting cutely in front of me.

She's wearing a pink glittering dress, it's so dazzling in my eyes as the sun rays hit her. She smiled cutely when she recognized me.

"Mom!" She look shock but she recovered fast and look back. She smiled awkwardly then push me a little, so I step back.

"What are you doing here? Where's your twin?" She smiled sweetly and called Mirk.

"We got lost and we met this kind uncle. He said he would bring us to you he just have to get something from his office." I nodded. But it's still suspicious.

"Mirk, how did you get lost? And what did I tell you? Don't talk to strangers and never go with them when they invite you."

"But he's kind, Mom!"

"Yeah, I know. But baby that's not the point. What if he's not kind? Hmm? I would lost you both. Mommy, is just scared to lost you..ok?" They nodded like a good child.

My office is just next door so I told them to go there and eat. When I saw them entered I went to Mr. Genius office.

His office is neat and plain, totally fit him. His table is very organized from papers to pens, they are properly placed to the right place like if you dare to move just a bit, it would look imperfect. The color in his wall is white and blue there's a touch of black though. I look at the nameplate in his table and was about to reach it when someone spoke behind me.

"What are you doing?" I stumbled, almost kissing the table if only Mr. Genius didn't pull me! My hands is in his shoulder and my face was close to his! I gulp. I can hear his heavy breathing and I can feel his fast heart beat. Or it's mine?

I look into his eyes..he is wearing contact lens but it didn't hide the emotion in his eyes that's it's very familiar to me. But to my shock, he push me! I stumbled again and my waist hit the edge of the table.

"Ouch!" I groaned and glared at him. I changed my mind!

"Hey, I-I didn't m-mean to!" I ignored him and leave him alone while holding my waist that hits the table. Damn it hurts!

"Hey!" I closed his door loudly and went to my office.

I saw the kids with Snow eating what I ordered.

"Mom!"

"Are you mad?" Mirk ask as he swallowed the food in his mouth and wipe his mouth.

"No baby! Why would you say that?" I laugh exaggerated which made it more suspicious. Geez.

MIRK sighed. He knows that his mom is lying but he didn't say anything.

They are not lost. It was really planed that they would visit their dad's office. They didn't wish to know that Ziv is lying, their daddypapa is lying her tita's too..and now he and her twin too.

His mom would be devastated if she would find out about this. But he can't ignore his twin crying like that and he also want to experience how does it feel to have a father. A father's love. A father who would play basketball with him, a father who would teach them how to ride a bike, a father who would save them every time they would get bullied.. there mom suffered enough.

We need daddy, so mom can relax already.

Yelena tugged Mirk's shirt and whispered. "Mommy looks mad, is it wrong to be with daddy?" She innocently asked while pouting cutely.

Mirk pinch her sister's cheeks and shook his head. "No sis, we should understand Mom, ok? They bullied her very bad in the past and daddy is one of them. So mommy can't be with daddy, yet." She nod like she really understand it. But Mirk's knew better, her sister is a curious cat.

"Mind to share?" Their mom whispered too behind them while smiling. They gulp.

But Yelena quickly use her charm and smiled cutely. "Mom, it's a secret between twins!" She giggled. Erica laughed and kissed their cheeks.

"Mom!" Mirk hissed they just laugh at him and Yelena tap his shoulders.

"I'm a big boy already!" Yelena cheerfully raised her hand, want to get their attention.

"Yes, baby?" Their mom said sweetly, while Snow is eating non stop but listening attentively.

"Oh! Mom! Mom! Tita! I saw him kissing my best friend!" Erica's eyes widened while Snow chocked.

"It's not a kiss, Yelena. It's just a smack." Erica's mouth left opened while Mirk shrugged like it's nothing..

MY WAIST HURTS! I keep on massaging it hoping the pain would go away.

"You look mad a while ago." Snow said and sit in my swivel chair while I was sitting in my sofa.

"That jerk caused this!" I said and pointed my aching waist.

She laughed. "What happened?" I told her what happened but she just laughed again, earning a glare from me, she stop.

"That's expected! It would be shocking if he kissed you! Well, it would be fun if he did.." she laughed laudly again.

"Snow!"

"Fine. Fine." She said, raising both of her hands, surrendering.

I was about to drive her away when I remember something. "Hey. Are you pregnant?" Her eyes widened and her mouth is half opened. Cute!

"N-no.."She blinked few times. "I-I'm not s-sure.." She said starting to panic.

"Hey, calm down. When was the last time you got your period?"

"Oh shit! It was 2 months ago! I-I have a b-baby in my t-tummy?" My brows furrowed. The heck?

"Who is it?" She avoided my gaze and caressed her tummy. I sighed.

"Ok. I won't ask. Cancel our appointments today and let's go visit a doctor." She nodded absent minded. I went near her and hug her. "I can be the father of your child, ok?" It's obvious that she don't want the guy to know that she's pregnant.

"Don't you ever think aborting your child, ok? It's a blessing. I'm always here for the both of you, like you always do to me. Hmm?" She nodded and hug.

"What if I'll end up failing her?" Oh? She want a baby girl?

"Nah..you did great taking care of my kids. So, I know you would take care more, your baby."

"Ahm. You're right. I've got you, I know I can do it."

"Yeah. That's the spirit! Anyway, since you're pregnant I need to find new secretary, any recommendation?" She clap her hand and smiled brightly.

"Yes, yes! I know someone. Let me train her first before I'll a leave!"

"Of course!"
