Perfect Reflections

Scott's idea of him not being a romantic person is hideous because I think he is. We're seating in his car trunk. It was too late to stop by anywhere for lunch so Rose helped package some stuffs from her show glass. Including Knishes. And Scott loved that very much. Even though he didn't say it.

"Where did you get candles from?" I asked as Scott lit the last candle with a lighter.

"I guess I always had it" he shrugged.

"Why? To light your car up in the night?" I chuckled making Scott roll his eyes.

"Very funny"

"Oh lighten up." I said and laughed at my own joke.

He placed the last lighted candle on the little wood we got from Rose. He laid blankets in his trunk and we sat in while eating sugar coated junks and watching the moonlight.

"This is very nice" I said. "Romantic" I teased and Scott snorted.

"Lame" he said and i hit his shoulder. "Why would anyone want to sit down and watch the moon when they can be having fun elsewhere"

"And what's your definition of fun?" I asked. Scott smirked. "Don't even say it" I said quickly.

Scott laughed until his eyes were wet. I stuffed my mouth with Knishes before getting off the trunk and toward the glimmering lake in front of us. I sighed in wonder as the moon hit the lake forming a perfect reflection. I turned around to see Scott staring at me.

Just then, the craziest idea I've had in a long time hit me like a brick and I took my jean off. Scott sat upright.

"What're you doing?" His voice was strained.

"Going swimming. What else?" I said and he mouthed an 'oh'

"Well I'm not joining you" he sat back down and popped a cherry from a cupcake into his mouth.

"I never asked" I said rolling my eyes.

"Well, you should!"Scott snapped.

I sighed before dipping my leg into the water. It was halfway to my ankle when I shivered. The water was cold but it also sent a delicious feeling through me. I stepped into the water fully but not up to my knee. I turned around to see Scott taking his shirt off. I didn't even have to ask.

"Don't be so smug about it" he said behind me before he splashed into the water and then cursed out loud.

"What the fuck! Dammit! It's freezing!!"

This time it was my turn to laugh. He would've at least asked why I was so slow to get into the water. Scott finally adjusted to the temperature of the water because he seemed to be moving a lot now. I just sat down and kept playing with my feet in the water.

"Come into the water" he called but I shook my head.

"I don't want to freeze. Thanks" I called out before chuckling. Scott swam closer to me and I readied myself in case he tried shit like dragging me into the cold lake. He can be annoying like that.

"I'll keep you warm" he said softly but I shook my head.

"That's a water. It's still going to be cold" and it's super breezy tonight.

"You'll adjust"

"Scott"

"Trust me" he held out his hand for me and I took it this time. No argument. He pulled me into the water slowly until it was halfway to my chest. My shirt bubbled up with the water making my cheeks flush. I quickly pulled it down so it lapped with my body but the water made it so stubborn, it kept bunching up.

"You should just take It off" Scott grinned.

"Scott!"

He burst out laughing. He's laughing a lot tonight and I must say that's a great change. He's usually brooding and being annoying. Still is...but right now, he's a different Scott. does the medicine up and what should be the next morning it doesn't specify the problem is it is not the preferred

The Scott I'd love to see everyday but I know it's impossible. Just the sight of human beings alone repulse him and he sparks up over almost everything. I'm sure that's how he got into a fight.

"I'd rather it on" I said seemingly. Scott pulled me fully into the water until we were at the middle of the lake. I held unto him for a while before letting go and swimming around. A bubbly laugh escaped my throat. "This is crazy"

"What? The fact that we're swimming in a lake at night or the fact that I love when you laugh like that" Scott said. His face was serious now and I didn't want to think too much about it.

"Maybe both"

"Tell me about it" he said with full sarcasm. I rolled my eyes and swam close to him. The reflection of the moon hit his glistening skin and his tattoos seem to come alive. The mermaid on his stomach seemed to be swimming and the little clock on his chest that made him look like a robot, seemed to be turning.

"Scott"

"Hmm" he murmured.

I shifted my eyes from his tattoos to stare at him and noticed he was looking at my chest. I looked down and the water had plastered my shirt to my body showing the outline of my bra. I flushed shoving his chest. A deep chuckle vibrated through him as I turned away and sank deeper into the water so it was to my neck.

"I told you to take the shirt off" Scott defended himself.

"And that would've been better?"

He stared at me grinning. "Yes actually. Your shirt gluing to your body is more distracting"

"Pervert" I spit and he laughed. I pinched his arm.

"Ouch!"

"Boys are such babies" I rolled my eyes at him. That was a little pinch and he reacted so much or maybe, he was just pretending.

"When you want us to be" Scott sank into the water.

"Scott!"

There was a little tingle at my ankle and I jumped. "Scott?!"

Bubbles rose from the water as Scott lifted me up to his shoulder. I burst into giggles.

"You scared me"

"That was the point Missy"

"Missy huh?"

Scott tickled below my feet and that sent me jumping off his shoulder and splashing into the water. As I landed into the water, I gasped in some water and started coughing.

"Christ! Storm!"Scott yelled.
