A Sad night

Leila's father was called by the police and was informed everything. He was enraged at what had happened to his daughter but he was very shocked by hearing what had happened to gang and how they were killed brutally.

He felt uneasy.

Hearing that Leila was rushed to the hospital, he called Alexia and both of them rushed to the hospital.

"Noe is she alright? Is my daughter alright?" Asked Alexia anxiously with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Yes aunt, she is fine and she is taking rest, they kept her saline"

"She fainted due to all that has happened, she was not able to handle everything " said Noe gravely.

Now was shaken up badly, she felt it was her fault that all of this happened. If she didn't call Leila, all of this wouldn't have happened.

"I-I'm so-sorry aunt it-it was m-my fault that all of t-this happened." Noe said to Alexia her voice cracking.

"No Noe it fine, don't beat yourself dear, this happened unfortunately, there's no fault of your in this at all dear" said Alexia and engulfed Noe in a hug and John patted her head.

Then all the three made their way to the room, Alexia broke down seeing Leila's condition.

John was very enraged seeing his daughter very pale and the red-purple slap mark on her face triggered him very much.

He kissed her on her forehead and excited the room and phoned the police and made arrangements to meet them immediately and left the hospital to deal with all the formalities.

"My poor daughter" said Alexia caressing Leila's hair gently while Noe sat beside her.

They were soon joined by Adam who was busy filling all the hospital formalities.

"Hey" said Adam entering the room.

"Hey" said Noe

"Aunty this Adam, he helped us with the hospital formalities, he is a friend of Caroline" Said Noe.

"Hello Mrs. Harris" said Adam smiling and they shook hands.

"Thank you Adam for helping my daughter and Noe" said Alexia.

"No Mrs. Harris you don't have to thank me for anything"

"Anybody in my place would have done the same" said Adam with a small smile.

Then he got a call

"Excuse me" said Adam and picked up the call while exiting the room.

Noe could clearly the annoying voice of Caroline saying " Adam..!! Where did you go?"

Noe rolled her eyes.

Time passed as they waited in the hospital .

Adam got them food and other essentials.

Noe came out of the room and sat in one of the chairs in the corridor and she buried her face in her hands. She was spotted by Adam who was returning back after attending a business call.

"Noe how are you? Are you feeling fine" asked Adam soothingly

Noe looked up at him.

He observed how restless Noe was, her eyes were red and swollen with all the crying. She looked weak because she didn't eat the food that Adam got.

"Yes I'm fine" said Noe in a small whisper.

"Noe, everything with be alright." Said Adam inching forward and he rubbed Noe's back to calm her. Noe was taken aback by this sudden move of his, and she looked at him and their eyes met grey against blue. But this didn't last long as they were interrupted by one of the nurses.

"Ma'am, sir, Ms. Harris has woken up, you can meet her"

Noe stood up instantly and rushed to the room followed by Adam.

"Leila, I'm soo sorry, I'm sorry

It was because of me all of this happened to you" said Noe in a cracked voice tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Noe, it's all right, it was bound to happen"

"Don't blame yourself for it baby" said Leila in a weak tone with a small smile.

"How are you feeling honey?" Asked Alexia

"I'm fine mom" said Leila

"Where is dad?"

"He'll be back soon, he's got some work" said Alexia in a soothing tone.

It was already 5 in the morning, and the doctor asked them to check out after 6'o clock.

So they let Leila sleep for few more minutes before discharging her.

"Thank you very much Adam" said Alexia

" Please,You don't have to thank me Mrs. Harris" said Adam with a small smile.

Alexia patted Adams arm and she went into the room to pack up.

"Thank you Adam for everything " said Noe.

She felt grateful to have him around, his presence for some reason calmed her.

"No please don't thank me, it's the least I could do" said Adam smiling.

"Well then I'll see you around Adam" said Noe blushing a little.

"See you soon Noe" said Adam looking at her.

Then Leila, Alexia and Noe were picked up by Mr. Harris,

Who shook hands with Adam and exchanged pleasentries since he already knew him through Mr. Wilson.

Then he and his family rode off to their house.

Just as the car disappeared from sight,

Adam's expression changed from caring to cold, his eyes held burning anger.

He took out his phone and called someone,

"Leila is fine, Daddy's little girl was tramuatized after the stunt you pulled on that men.

But she's fine now.

It was satisfying to see their family in distress. I think I made a pretty good impression Alexia and John are impressed with me and Leila's friend Noe could be intrested in me which would make thing much easier"

He said smirking.

And he cut the call smiling visciously.
