Chapter Five: All about Revenge

"A nightmare?"I asked still surprised about what he just said.

"Yea,she's about to sign a contract with someone whom I don't know..but if you try stopping she won't listen m because it's for our good.."he explained.

"Um..I think we should give it a try by telling her not to do so."I suggested.

"But what if she doesn't agree with us"Owen said.

"Let us just give it a try.. you don't have to think negatively"I replied.

"Is she around?"he asked.

"Nope.but she would be around in the next one or two hours"I answered.

"We would once she comes back"Owen said.

"Yea"I said and just then my phone began to ring..

I checked the caller ID and saw it was Chloe..why is she calling me,i asked myself.

"Who's that?"Owen asked.

"Chloe"I said picking up the call.

"Hey Chloe.. what's up?"I asked.

"I've you gotten to register and be among the upcoming contest?"she asked.

"Nope,why?"I asked wondering why she was saying that.

"Well Marcus is gonna be a judge..and that means you would get to meet your prince charming"she said.

"Are you for real Chloe?"I asked.

"I'm sure about this Alexa..it's the trending latest news"she replied.

"Woah..I would check on how to get into the contest.. but do you know what's gonna be the prize for the winner?"I asked.

"The winner would get the sum of Two million dollars and would also get to sing with him"she replied.

"Woah that would be great.. but I'm sure it isn't organized by him."I said.

"Why did you said that?"she questioned.

"You know he is someone who got heartbroken by the person he loves and come to think if it..any time he sings..he always talk about that same girl but doesn't mention her name though..and do you think someone like him would get to organise a talent show"I replied.

"Yea,you have a point bestie..well it might be organized by his dad...but that isn't why you wanna Join the talent show.. you got a talent to showcase and I'm totally sure you gonna be the winner"Chloe said.

"Thanks Bestie"I replied."So I would see you later in school...and make sure you dream about your prince charming"Chloe teased ads without waiting for a reply she cut the phone.

I smiled and turned back but was surprised to see Owen wasn't next to me anymore.

I heard the sounds of water and i knew he was in the bathroom doing whatever he was doing.

He came out with a towel around his waist.

Wait,did he went to take his bath without I knowing.

Well I guess it was because of the call which I was making.

"Are you done making calls with your bestie?"he asked rolling his eyes.

"Sure..I didn't even knew you went to take your bath"I replied.

"That's because you were making a call with your bestie about your prince charming whom you have a crush on."he said and I smiled."I heard you talk about him organizing something... would you mind to tell me"he added.

"He organized a talent show which would people would get to showcase their talent.. and the winner would get to sing with him and also with the sum of two million dollars"I explained."but he wasn't really the one who organized it..it was his father who did so"I added.

"I'm sure you would participate"he said smiling."you would sing with the beautiful voice of yours and trust me he's gonna like it"Owen said.

"Thanks kid bro"I teased and he gave me an hard glare."I need to have some privacy so I think you have to leave my room"he said and I recalled he still had a towel tied on his waist.

"Okay..I would just leave"I said and smiled before walking out of his room.

I sighed then climbed the stairs leading to the sitting room.

Mom was yet to arrive so I sat on the couch watching movies.

The door bell rang and I stood up to check who it was.

I opened the door and saw it was a guy whom I don't know.

"Hi"he said smiling.

"Hi..how may I help you?"I asked.

"Umm.. I'm new In this street and I'm your neighbor next door"he said.

"Oh.it's nice meeting you"I replied smiling.

"I'm Kyle and its nice meeting you also"he said and brought out his hand for an handshake.

I collected it and fake a smile.

"So I brought you this so that we could be friends"he said and brought something which he hide behind.

It was actually a flower..not just a flower but a rose.. which was so beautiful and the scent was nice.

"Thanks"I said smiling and he also did the same.

"Bye"he said and walked out.

I closed the door and admired the flower before going back to the couch and I continued to watch the movie.

"Are you sure its gonna work!"I asked mom.

"Yea,no one messes with my daughter and goes Scot free"she replied smiling.

"That's why I love you mom"I said then began to climb the stairs.

"Love you too sweetie"she said then I continued to climb the stairs till I got to my room.

I still felt so angry but since mom plan was something which would work I decided not to think about it anymore.

I walked into my room and close the door behind.

I began to take off my clothes and also to clean my make up.I decided to take a cold bath so I walked into the bathroom.

Few minutes later.

I didn't spend much time so I came out few minutes later.

I wore my clothes back and laid gently on the bed.

"I'm gonna make sure Mason pays for what he did"I thought and finally drifted to sleep.
