I had never seen Benedito look paler until that very moment. His normally sunkissed caramel skin looked so painfully ashen you would not think he looked alive in those few seconds. Even his tattoos seemed to lose their vibrance. His bright smile had disappeared and something in his eyes had died with it. 

All the alcohol in my system seemed to dwindle as I looked at Agwe's brother. The first time I met him was when I headed to the beach to get Benedito and I a drink whilst we were just lazing around. Apparently he was a surfing instructor and do not get me wrong, but the man was gorgeous. 

Not as gorgeous as Dito but he had me laughing like a fool when Agwe introduced us. I did not see the point in mentioning it because we all knew how Benedito felt about surfing instructors after Greece and I did not want a part two of that on our honeymoon.
