An angel.

Jesse was an angel. I raised a hand to his face, brushing his hair back so I could see his face. He was breathing softly, his lips parted a bit.

My angel.

Last night and this morning had been perfect. He had been pliant and warm underneath me, taking and pushing back when he needed more. He was just perfect.

Jesse was lying down, half of his face smushed into the pillow, the purple duvet covering his ass. His his back, his legs, his beauty bathed by the sunlight coming in through the windows. I felt like I was holding my breath, I felt like I wasn't sure what I was holding my breath, like breathing would suddenly wake him up or sully his perfection.

I was startled out of my musings by a vibrating sound. I search around, quickly reaching for it so it doesn't wake Jesse from his sleep. I hit the volume down button to stop the vibration.

I resist the urge to cuss when I see the caller id. Chris. Mentally fighting down a sigh, I put my phone on airplane mode and tossed it to the side.

"Whozzit?" Jesse asked, drawing my attention back to him.

"Nobody important."

"Oh. Good." Jesse said, his eyes still closed. Since my eight o seven alarm hadn't gone off yet, I knew there was still time for Jesse to get up and get ready.

"Rise and shine, Jesse." I said, moving closer so I could nudge my nose against his cheek. Jesse whines for a couple seconds and stops. I nudge him again and this time I get a giggle.

"Let me sleep." Jesse whined.

"You've got work and so do I."

"I can't feel my legs." Jesse said, finally blinking his eyes open. Staring into those blue eyes of his... there were no words to describe how gorgeous they were and how they made me feel.

I found myself smirking at his words. He couldn't feel his legs. He was definitely going to feel it when he sits and when he walks. I took pride in knowing he was going to remember me all day long.

"If you don't get up, I'm going to carry you."

"I'm not gonna say no to that."

It made me happy knowing that I was coaxing Jesse out of his shell little by little. I don't think I've ever been this happy. I tugged on the duvet covering his bum. I let out a loud laugh when Jesse tries to cover up, pulling himself into a sitting position.

I watched him, the hickeys littering his skin, especially his neck. His hair was pointing every which way, eyes a little swollen from sleep, his cheeks a soft shade of pink. Like I said. An angel.

"Stop staring at me like that."

"Like what?" I asked, hands reaching for my boy. I pull him closer to me, my fingers pressed to his warm skin as I look at him.

"Like that."

"I don't know what you're talking about." I teased, pressing a kiss to his forehead. We stayed that way for a while, his warm breath kissing my skin.

We were snapped out of the bliss by my alarm going off. It was officially eight o seven , so we needed to get up and get ready for work.

"We've got to get ready for work."

"I wonder if I can call in sick." Jesse mumbled. I chuckled at his words and pull away from our embrace. He looked up at me, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"You go and get ready while I set things up." I said, slipping my hand down his back, to his ass. Loving the way he shook against me.

"If you keep doing that, I won't leave."

I pulled my hands away, giving him a smug look. I watched Jesse get out of bed, the duvet falling off as he walks to the bathroom with a slight limp, his round ass out and tempting.

I was a lucky son of a bitch.

Once he was in the bathroom, I stretched a bit before getting off the bed. I walked over to the walk in closet, finger trailing the clothes hung up. I took out a grey hoodie, dark jeans, boxers and placed them on the bed for Jesse.

I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, listening to Jesse hum a song as he scrubbed himself clean. If I joined him in there, we were both going to be late for work. I had no problem with that. I owned my company but Jesse had to be on time.

I leaned against the bathroom counter when I was done. The shower had a glass stall, it was all fogged but I could see the silhouette of Jesse. He was still humming. It took him a couple more minutes to finish and when he steps out, his cheeks were that beautiful pink I loved.

"Darling, I put your clothes on your bed." I said as I walked closer to him. "Would you mind picking something for me to wear?"

Jesse looked at me with wide eyes. "I'd love to."

It was all... domestic. All new. Yes I had dated before. Yes I have had boyfriends sleep over before. It just... it hadn't felt like this. This was effortless, this was comfortable, this was just the two of us.

It doesn't take me long to shower. By the time I get out, a towel wrapped around my waist, Jesse was already dressed and he had placed a suit and shirt on the bed. The grey hoodie he had on was two sizes big, covered his fingers but he looked adorable.

I looked back at the suit, moving closer. It was a black suit with flowers embroidered on it with white thread, and a black pants. A black shirt laid out beside it. Jesse was smiling so big, he was looking between I and the shirt.

I don't hesitate to put on the clothes. Jesse has also laid out my socks and shoes beside the bed and a pair of boxers. All black. I could see a theme here.

When I pulled on the clothes, the suit jacket, I turned to him and winked.

"Do you like it?" I asked him.

"You look really good. Like ridiculously good. How does everything look good on you?" Jesse asked with a pout. He walks closer to me and placed his hands on my chest, fingers playing with the lapels of my suit.

"You look really good too. Always cute, always sexy." I told him and he laughed.

"Hal, flattery will get you-"

"Everywhere." I added.

"I'm going to grab something to eat. Is toast alright with you?" Jesse asked me and I nodded. I pulled him in for a quick kiss, squeezing his waist a bit.

When we pulled a paper, Jesse sneaks one more kiss before walking out of the room. His hickeys and limp clear as day.

Once my hair was done, I grabbed my wallet and phone as well as Jesse' before walking out of the room. A quick glance at the clock in the hallway tells me the time was eight forty.

Jesse was humming again in the kitchen, buttering up two slices of bed, sprinkling a little cinnamon on it. When I get to him, two toasts pop out, he quickly places those on the table and replaced them with the two he had just buttered up.

"Hi."

"Hey, baby." I said, pressing my nose into his hair. I didn't have to look to know he was blushing. He liked it when I called him pet names, especially kitten. But I use that one on special occasions. When he knows it isn't coming.

"Coffee or tea?" He asked.

"We can grab coffee on the way." I replied. "We'll just eat, drink a little juice and be off." I said and Jesse nods.

The cinnamon toast was amazing. It doesn't take me time to wolf it down and too it off with my orange juice. We walk out of the house together, the door clicking shut behind us.

Prez was already in the car. Today we were taking the black SUV. Like always I open the door for my darling and shut it when he gets in before making my way to the other side of the car.

Once I was seated, my phone began to vibrate again. Jesse looked at me as I pulled the phone out of my pocket. It was Chris again.

"Who is it?" Jesse asked me.

"No one important." I replied truthfully. Chris wasn't important. He was my past. He was someone I had wasted my time and money on. I reached for Jesse's hand, interlocking our fingers and giving it a squeeze.

"I've got to say, Mr. Janvier, you look really good this morning. Your stylist has a lot of talent." Jesse teased, sticking out his tongue a bit afterwards. I couldn't help the laughter that bubbles out of me.

"Not a stylist. My boyfriend. He's amazing really and so gorgeous. You should meet him sometime." I played along, watching as he smiled. It started out small, sharp tilts at the side of his lips before it turned to a bright grin.

I could stare at him all day.

"You are even more gorgeous." Jesse said to me, his cheeks and top of his ears turning a soft pink. An angel.

"I..." I started. Trying to find the right words to use. "I honestly think you're an angel. My angel. You're like the sun to me, bright and amazing and I want you to always be here. I don't think I've ever been this happy."

It was hard trying to sum up everything I was feeling. I didn't even explain it properly, all I said barely scratched the surface of how I felt and how much I felt. Yet.

Yet.

Jesse was looking at me like that. He was just staring, his smile softer, his eyes twinkling and it seemed it like he was blinking slowly. He was looking at me like... I was everything. Like I was special.

And for the second time today, I couldn't help but feel like I was a lucky son of a bitch.

"You are... so sweet. You take care of me, you truly actually care about me, you hold me, you talk to me, you also let me take care of you in my own way." Jesse said, squeezing our hands. "You have done so much for me, you don't even know."

"I'm glad to know we both feel this way." I raised our joint hands to my lips and peppered it with kisses, loving the little giggles he let out.

"Oh!" Jesse exclaimed, tone filled with glee. "Can I take you to dinner?" Jesse asked and I looked at him, brow raised in amusement. Jesse look even a hundred times brighter.

"And where are we going?"

"It's a surprise! They have really good food." Jesse said.

"I'm going to dress up."

"And I will pick you up in a taxi." Jesse said and I frown. No. I don't want my baby taking a taxi.

"How about I give you one of my cars? You need one for work in case something comes up and I can't make it or for dates." I said, looking up at Jesse who was just shaking his head.

"I'm not taking your car."

"Yes you are, darling. You've been taking driving lessons with Danny."

"No."

"Say that one more time and I'll pull you over my lap." I said and Jesse pursed his lips, a slight frown on his face.

"That's not fair."

I gave him a pointed and he sighed.

"I'm going to choose what car I take." Jesse said and I chuckled, shaking my head at my boy. He lets out a loud whoop, smile still as blinding at the sun. Eyes crinkling shut, cheeks rosy and he was just... radiant.

My angel.

My kitten.

After how many weeks, this angel has become my everything. Everything.
