"What's your favorite candy?"

I stared at the text. It's been a day since the date and Hal has sent me a good morning text and we had texted throughout the entire day and now here we are.

"I don't have a particular one."

Growing up my mother never let me have sweets. She'd give me a truffle or cut small pieces of chocolate for me but I never got to see the wrappers. When I was thirteen the sweets stopped and I couldn't even get one from where we lived because it was a small community where everyone knew everyone and so my mother would have heard from someone. I never had friends so I couldn't even ask for sweets.

Working at the convenience store was like a dream come true for me but I still-

" -don't have a favorite candy."

"Then I can help you find it."

I smiled at the text. I knew Hal was going to go all out but whatever he has in mind, I hoped I am ready for it. I put my phone aside as one of the customer finally walked up to the till. I scan her items, a few tampons, weighed her bananas, and her Cadbury Oreos. She gave me her card and I tap it against the monitor.

My phone buzzed against the counter and I want to reach for it but I couldn't until she was gone. I give her a big smile and tell her I have a nice day as she walked away. When she was gone, I quickly pulled out my phone and smiled at the text.

"Can I see you tonight?"

"Yes." I blushed as I reply. "I close by five."

The reply was instant and I find myself getting excited.

"Fancy another date?"

"Yes :)" I replied and put phone down and attend to the next customer. I was still smiling at her when Stanley walked over to me and grabbed the phone. He raised a brow at me and I shrugged.

"So... you've been glued to your phone?"

"It's a friend."

"A friend who you've been texting since yesterday."

"Stanley." I whined and reached for the phone. He raised it a bit higher and I lean back and huff. He eventually hands me my phone and I bat his hand away.

"You close by six."

"I know."

"My husband wants you to have two truffles from the fridge and he made you a couple of side dishes. He brought it a few minutes ago." Stanley said and I smile, my cheeks hurting from my smile. Charles Darlton was a great cook and everything he made was so tasty.

The first time he gave me side dishes to take home, at first I had been a bit scared of it. What if it was poisoned? It took me several days to heat it up and eat and when I did... it had to be the best home made food I've tasted. The man deserved an award.

Once it was six, I grabbed two truffles from the fridge and put it in a bag before making my way to the employees room. True to his words, there was a large bag containing side dishes next to my laptop bag.

I grabbed the my laptop bag and placed the truffle along with the side dishes. Immediately I stepped out of the store, a light blue Porsche stops in front of me and Hal gets down. Leg first and body afterwards. It felt like he was moving in slow motion.

"Baby, how are you?" Hal asked as he made his way over to me. He had on a grey suit, a round neck shirt underneath and black shoes, a big shiny watch on his wrist.

I felt the heat travel up to my cheeks but I couldn't help the smile I directed at him. "I'm good. How are you?" I asked as he leads me towards the passengers side of the car.

"Better now that I've seen you."

Just like last time, Hal buckled my seatbelt for me before making his way to the driver's seat. He doesn't pull away from the curb immediately, instead he reached back and hands me a white paper bag.

"What's this?"

"A little something for my baby boy." Hal replied and I couldn't help the small smile that slide onto my lips. I pulled open the bag and my eyes widened at the inside. There were all kinds of candy mixed in and the paper bag was medium sized. There were gummy bears, candy cane -which doesn't make sense since Christmas was five months away-, rainbow swirl lollipops and so much more.

"Hal..."

"It's something to snack on. I've got a much bigger parcel to be delivered to you later today." Hal said, turning to smile at me.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." Hal replies.

I pulled out on gummy bear and raised it up to Hal's lips. I stared at him, blinking slowly so as not to miss his reaction. He parts his lips and I push the candy past his lips.

"You don't have to feed me, darling. The candy is all yours."

"It's good to share." I replied as I dug into my bag of candy and shoved a handful of it into my mouth. I hummed and did a little dance, moving my head from side to side happily.

"That happy?"

"Very happy." I replied. "Where are you taking me to?"

"I was thinking we should take a walk down Favor Park, ice cream and you can ask me anything." Hal said and I nod. It was warm out and it'd be wonderful to stroll, maybe walk hand in hand with Hal. I actually do have a couple of questions to ask Hal.

After our dinner, I had gone online and googled the words Daddy Dominant and Little until I understood and if I was being honest, it was something I was interested in. I had looked over some of the questions I had seen online and I found myself wondering.

Hal pulled into a parking lot and like always got down and helped me out of the car. I place the bag of candy on the seat and follow him into the park. It was almost quarter to seven, the pack was a bit empty, dog walkers and some elder couples.

"What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?"

"Oreos."

"Then Oreos we shall get." Hal chuckled. He walked over to my right side and took my hand in his. I shuffled a bit closer and we continued walking.

"Can you tell me a bit about yourself? I wanted to google you but I'm not sure I should or can trust what the internet will say about you. I hear everything is a pr stunt." I asked Hal. He looked at me and smiles, turning slightly to press a kiss to my forehead.

It made me feel giddy. No one had ever paid this much attention to me and it's not just about that, I have never met anyone who just wanted me as I am.

"That's good. If you have questions you can always ask me. I'm twenty seven, my birthday is on the 31st of October. I am the CEO of Janvier Inc, a company that I run with a friend who is the COO. I listen to music, mostly classical and I'm allergic to blueberries." Hal said. "I've been in the BDSM Scene officially for five years now and I've only ever had two littles."

"Only two?"

I don't know what I was expecting but two wasn't it. He's been at this for five years. What if I'm horrible? What if he loses interest in me.

"What are you thinking about, Kitten?"

I bit my bottom lip as I wondered if I could tell him what exactly it was I was thinking about.

"Jesse, the key to our relationship working is communication. You have to tell me what you're thinking or worrying about. That's why I am here."

"I think a lot." I ended up saying.

Hal stopped and comes to stand in front of me, our hands still locked. "I want to be here for you, even if it's just to listen. I want to know everything."

"You already work hard, H. And I don't want to add to that burden."

Hal shook his head and moved closer to me, he pulled me closer until my nose was pressed to his chest lightly and my hands were gripping his shirt, his hands wrapped around my hips.

"I want to know everything. I want you to feel safe and happy and taken care of. You deserve everything and more, baby boy."

It was like a weight had been lifted off me. Relief flowing through me like nothing I've ever felt before. I hold onto him for a bit longer before pulling back a bit. I look up at him and say in a quiet voice.

"I want ice cream now."

Hal laughed and pulls back, his hand coming down to mine so our fingers were interlocked. We walk to the small ice cream pop up shop and Hal asked for a double Oreo scoop and got a single scoop of strawberry.

I gently held onto my cup of ice cream as we take out seat on the nearest bench. We were away from people and from the truck.

"I have been doing some research and I found a couple of things." I said after two scoops of my ice cream. Hal pushed his spoon into his ice cream and turned to me.

"Things like what?"

"Posts saying things like what's my bedtime? The name of my favorite stuffies and how Daddys show they care and various little ages."

"And what little age do you think expresses you?"

I looked down from my ice cream, kicking my shoes lightly against the grass. I had taken various What Little Are You tests online and they had all come out the same. 5 years old.

That's my little age.

"5."

Hal's grin was blinding. "I can see that." He said. "What else did you learn?"

"Some littles use pacis to stop bad habits like nail biting," I looked down as I said those words because it was one of the bad habits I had. "Some littles dress cute to keep the bad thoughts away, some littles talk to their stuffies so  they don't feel alone."

"Do you want any of that? The stuffies? The cute dressing? The pacis?"

"Can we try it one at a time?"

"Of course, kitten."

I cheered and focus back on my ice cream. The sun was already beginning to set and the park was becoming more and more empty. It gave a kind of serene feeling and ... I just haven't ever been this relaxed and happy. I still had a couple more days to decide and I was going to try even more to understand more about being a Little.

We talked for a few more minutes before getting up. Hal dumped out cups into a recycle bin and with his hand in mine, he leads me back to the car. He pulled open the door for me, buckled me in and went over to his side.

"What are your plans for dinner?"

"My boss's husband makes me these side dishes and sauces and I've got rice at home." I replied, turning to grin at him.

"You look excited! That tasty?"

"Yes."

"Then I'll have to cook for you and see if you'll like mine more." Hal said and I snickered, tugging on my seatbelt a bit. He couldn't be jealous of an older married man right?

"I'm pretty sure Charles's food can't be beat."

"Challenge accepted!"

I burst into laughter, one hand coming up to cover my mouth. The drive home was fun as Hal kept trying to make me laugh. As he pulled to a stop in front of my house, I wondered why I had been terrified of him finding out where I lived. This man was ready to have all of me, both the good and the bad. I'm thankful I let him drive me home after dinner that day.

"Text me before you sleep?"

"I will."

"Good night, baby boy." Hal leaned close and pressed a kiss to my cheek.

"Good night, Hal."

I got down from the car, gave him a little wave and made my way to my door. Hal doesn't pull away until I was inside and once he was gone, I melted to a puddle on the floor. I picked my self up a few minutes later, showered and put on a large shirt and sweatpants. I put the side dishes in the fridge except one and grabbed a bowl of left over rice from the fridge too.

While I was waiting for my food to heat up, my bell went off. Cautious, I made my way to the door.

"Who is it?"

"Delivery for Jesse?" A voice calls.

I pulled open the door and stared at the man who stuck out a small tab and a pen for me to sign on and with. Once I was done he hands me a large box which I quickly kept by the door and pulled a life sized teddy from his van and dragged it over to my door.

My eyes almost popped out of my sockets when I see the teddy. It was cream with a blue bow tie. And it was so big. I tell the man thank you and locked my door afterwards. After tearing into the box I found different packs of candies inside and marshmallows. I pulled out one and was about to undo the wrapper whene my phone went off.

"No sweets before bed." The text simply read. How did he know? I looked around my room, searching for cameras. Nah, there was nothing there. If I took the candy he wouldn't know.

Or will he?

"Thank you for the candies and teddy." I text back.

I drop the sweet back and take the box to my kitchen. I went back to the sitting room and grabbed the large teddy and gave it a tight hug. The house didn't feel alone anymore.

"I'll call you, Hally." I said to the bear as I carried it to my room.
