Highschool DxD: Dragon's Ascent

It's not often you get a second chance. Even less often that your second chance involves you being sent into a world where mythology is real and devils roam the world. Even less is that world being an anime you have watched before. That's right, I have been transmigrated into Highschool DxD. So, how does one survive in the world of Dragons, Gods and Boobs? Trough breaking the system of course! Because when life gives you a chess board you flip it over. Note: I do not own the cover nor do I have any claim over it

Chapter 58: Of Vampire Femboys

Drunk me was... very creative and driven but also very concerning.

Was the thought that came to my head as I appraised the brand-new seal matrix surrounding my entire mansion compound. It was fine and all but... there was just one problem.

I can't understand half of this shit.

This was like trying to read your black-out drunk handwriting the day after. But something more concerning...

It should work? How?

I learned through perusing the scattered and almost ineligible memories of my yesterday that my splitting headache this night was not just because I had replaced 40% of my body weight with high-grade alcohol but also because I had, and I cannot stress this enough, literally turned parts of my brain into liquid by running thought acceleration at absurd levels.

Thank god(hey that no longer hurts!) I have regeneration and that the mind is more metaphysical.

But essentially drunk me had gone through my backlog of work with the grace and finesse of a comically drunk and insane man.

'Ddraig, I am too weak to piece together my drunk memories, please tell me I did not do anything major.'

I could hear Ddraig chuckling in the back of my mind. This couldn't be good.

{Other than crying several times throughout the night about not having milfs in your harem and then puking from crying? It may be Blorbo.}

Excuse me.

What the fuck is a Blorbo?

{Honestly? I have no idea, you were rambling about your spawn taking over the world and space machines killing the Great Red or something then made a slime and released it into the wild like a parent seeing their child leave the house.}

That's concerning.

Well, drunk me must have had the right idea or something. Let it prosper or whatever, if it starts eating too many people I'll just take care of it.

Other than... that incident apparently drunk me had actually accomplished a lot.

A seal array that would detect teleportation attempts into my house without permission and retaliate with what I can only assume is probably semi-lethal force. Or something else, I can't read half of that shit.

I apparently made a lot of alcohol, I mean a lot. And equipment too, I had also sealed a deal with Azazel, one that promised a crate of 100 Intermediate health, stamina and mana potions respectively as well as the promise of allowing the Grigori access to my yet-to-be-opened shop's catalogue to order deliveries as well as Royal-Tier Membership to Azazel and Gold-Tier memberships to his Cadre.

In exchange, every week on the day of delivery I would receive a multitude of herbs and metals I could use for potions and other stuff. I am talking about tens of tons of materials instead of the small shipments I received before.

Even some rare materials like Merion Crystals that I can use to mass produce logic cores for my homunculi without majorly compromising their integrity.

Also, corpses of beasts that are exclusively found on the fallen angel side of the underworld, such as the Thunderhawk, Molten Treaders, Sacrum Deers etc. all of them containing valuable ingredients and materials.

But most of the deal was made for ingredients for my homunculi, with this, every week I would get 80% of the ingredients needed for homunculi production at a constant rate.

So it covered my expenses for my personal projects to a degree. I would expand the deal when I increased the homunculi production, I already drafted up and sent blueprints for farming homunculi to Arc.

With those finished, I reconnected to my drone and looked outside, it looked like school was just about to start it seemed.

Well, I guess I could go back to playing schoolboy for a day.

I grabbed some silk from my storage before casually drawing a transmutation circle in the air with my mana to convert it into a replica of my Kuoh Academy uniform while also altering the silk composition to make it more durable than even spider silk.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I was taller and more handsome now, my hair longer and wilder, tied in a high ponytail. My body was now compact with dense muscles. I have come a long way.

A very long way considering it has been less than 2 months since I have started my life in this world and accomplished more than most have in hundreds of years.

Stretching I lazily left the house, right, I should get Asia started in school since her gardening work will mostly be delegated to Homunculi now. I will still let her keep a garden for her own use though, she seems to like it.

As I passed through the gates, I heard ooh and aah's of schoolgirls around me, looking around I saw many of them blushing and pointing at me.

"Is that really Takumi-kun?" "He really changed so much!" "I knew he was hanging around the Occult Research Clubroom, maybe they gave him a makeover?" "Is there a new prince in the academy?"

Ahh, schoolgirls, how fun. Regardless, I constructed an elaborate mind magic circle in less than a second before I deployed it, putting a mental suggestion into anyone within 2000 meters which was basically "Takumi didn't change he always looked like this." since I did not want to deal with the hassle.

Now then, let's visit Rias, Sona is not a priority of mine after all.

✧—•✦•—✧—•✦•—✧—•✦•—✧

As Rias and her peerage were in the clubroom casually hanging out before...

Bam!

"Did someone order a demonic draconic Alchemist again!?" I burst through the door as everyone's lit up with recognition.

"Takumi! You're here!" "Welcome back Takumi-kun~" "...You're back." "Whatever Kiba just said."

"That's right, it's me, in the flesh. I managed to make some time from managing my business' for my favourite peerage. I was told you wanted me to meet someone?" Hearing my words the other members looked toward Rias who nodded.

"Indeed Takumi-kun, I wanted you to meet another member of my peerage. Your fellow bishop, unfortunately, due to some circumstances he was sealed away but my brother allowed me to release him a few days ago and that he would be allowed to roam around the old school building but he refused. Here, follow me." Saying that Rias got up and the rest of her peerage followed, that includes me too by the way.

Until eventually we reached a door sealed with... caution tapes and mundane chains... really? There are at least some seals on it but it's novice level 5 work at best. I could make something 10x stronger in my sleep.

"So, Rias, you are telling me that while we are working our asses off here my fellow bishop is refusing to get out of his room like a shut-in?" My irritation must have leaked into my voice and my aura making Akeno sweat and raise a finger.

"W-well, it may not look like it but Gasper-kun is actually a big winner. He takes on special contracts through his computer-"

"Then he is just a freelance programmer, great." released a breath out of my nose that resembled more like steam, why was I losing my cool this fast? I circulated some mental magic patterns to calm myself down.

"I will be opening the seal no-" "No need. This is such shoddy work I am surprised it hasn't broken by itself yet." I casually touched the seal as it crumbled apart making Rias sweat a little.

"Dear, don't you think your standards are a little higher than average? Mr. Demonic Draconic Alchemist Emperor?" I just shrugged, maybe they should be better instead of wanting me to expect worse.

"I am opening the door, Gasper."

Regardless, Rias put her hand on the handle before pulling on it, revealing a mix between cute and goth high schooler vampire room. Before a shrill girly scream rang out.

"NOOOOOOO~!"

From the middle of the room from a coffin, Rias moved over to it and opened the lid, revealing a cute vampire girl(boy) wearing a girl's school outfit with stockings out of his own volition. He had platinum blonde hair in a bob with amethyst eyes filled with tears.

"Gasper, you have been unsealed, it's time to come out."

The femboy squirmed even harder inside of his coffin while I stood silent and impassive.

"No! I don't want that! The outside world is scarrryyy!" He cried while Rias gently hugged him. I still didn't twitch a single muscle.

"Shh, you're fine. Takumi-kun, this is our bishop Gasper Vladi, he was a Dhampir before getting reincarnated." Still no motion. I let her just continue to talk.

"Hey Gasper, you remember the video right? This is Takumi, he is the newest member of my peerage, I wanted to introduce you to him." Gasper managed to divert his sad pathetic gaze away from Rias and to me before freezing up under my gaze.

"He- he looks really scary-!!!" Before he suddenly vanished, or he would have if it weren't for the fact I roused my dragon aura and boosted gear to resist his time stop, my eyes following his figure skulking to a corner as everyone was frozen in time. I felt my mana get constricted as well, as if it was being chained down.

And all I could think was.

'Pathetic.'

Born with overwhelming power and strong genetics, and yet too much of a little bitch to use any of it. It pissed me off, it made me angry, it made me rage.

My skin crawled, my aura raged.

I have spent... about two months in this world. But mentally it's close to almost a year. 11 of those months were pure effort. I built up my body from the beginning, only equipped with knowledge and a mid-tier sacred gear that did not even give me any combat ability.

And yet this... thing, this thing was given everything in fucking existence to get strong. Rare vampire bloodline abilities with zero disadvantages, one of the strongest sacred gears in existence further boosted by the soul of a god, and on top of that he had the benefits of a bishop piece and devil physiology as well as ungodly talent.

Even after all I have done. If Gasper applied even a tenth of my effort he would dwarf me in power. Yet he was wasting away completely as a worthless pitiful fucking shut-in.

I felt fire boil in my veins.

He was abused? So was I! What made him fucking special huh?

I didn't get to have any friends, I didn't get to live my childhood. But I didn't get godlike power, I had to work for it, I work so fucking-

'Calm Mind.'

I replicated the effects of the potion through magic and calmed myself down. That anger felt unnatural. I felt those but not nearly that intensely. Maybe irritation at the waste of space called Clasper, but not outrage.

The Boosted Gear is affecting me too much. This may be a problem.

Maintaining a calm mind I noticed the time stop wear off as confusion briefly passed through the rest of the peerage's faces before they held helpless smiles.

"I think I understand the situation now." I declared as Rias nodded along with me.

"Yes Gasper was sealed away because he can't control his pow-"

"His sacred gear is broken."

"What!?/What!?"

Rias and Gasper yelled out at the same time as I maintained my poker face. Time to pull on all of my acting muscles.

If he won't use his sacred gear properly I can do it for him.

Gimme that.

A/N: Btw, do you guys want more slice-of-life high school action? What about including Aika in the harem again? Or maybe putting at least a little focus on Sona's peerage? I would appreciate hearing your ideas.

Takumi is preparing to pull a devious plan on Gasper and take his sacred gear from his hands. To give it to hands that will make better use of such a strong power, ie, Him.
