Richard moved Elaine behind him because he did not know the stranger who knew his name. He was cautious not to let Elizabeth get hurt."Nice to meet you. Who is this Elizabeth?" The stranger referred to the woman he loved as Elaine but he knew her real name was Elizabeth. What on earth was happening?
"This is Abigail Reed. Is that still your last name?" Elaine questioned because she was not certain. Sometimes she found herself just wanting to call the woman Helen again.
"I kind of like the no last name thing. Makes me even more mysterious right? You can stick with the last name Reed until Mary and Samuel pass away. I really like the two of them. And your real name was Elizabeth? I expected a name like that to come from you," Abigail said. She removed her hands from covering her eyes to get a better look at the man Elaine was desperately searching for.
