The Fallen Angel (3/3)

At the church, Rias, Akeno, and everyone else in Rias peerage's appeared, glaring at the fallen angels, and a group of people wearing cult uniforms to hide their appearance. Raynare stood next to a naked Aisa who was on a cross, the ritual for her sacred gear to be stolen almost done.

"What were you doing at Anos bar?" Rias asked the power of destruction exploding off her being, far stronger than in the past, and far more controlled.

"How do you know Anos?" Raynare asked in shock, throwing a warning glare at Rias'.

"He is my boyfriend," Rias said coldly, no longer shy about it. Thanks to the fact showing her love to the world would come back with great rewards, she had no choice but to grow bold with her love, leading to many kisses in public, and us growing closer in record time.

"You're the bitch who stole him from me?" Raynare almost snapped, causing Rias to pause not expecting such a response.

"Anos is mine, once I take this sacred gear, I will save his mother and show him that I'm better," Raynare said angrily while sizing Rias up and down, and seeing no necklace or ring on her, she grinned.

"Anos gave me this necklace, proof of his love for me. Just give up you spoiled good-for-nothing princess, your brother is not here to help you." Raynare said with a mad grin, all while Rias' face went blank seeing the necklace... and slowly, Rias began to snap.

"Rias?" Akeno said with unease seeing Rias' magical power going berserk, forcing her and everyone away from her. Raynare and the fallen angels all stepped backward, horrified by the pressure of something nearing an ultimate class demon... no, she had stepped into that realm.

"You Bitch!" Rias roared with her blood lust bursting out. All of the cannon fodders there were erased under her power of destruction, and with a step from Rias, Rias burst towards Raynare who was too scared to move at this power.

But as Rias was about to near Raynare, the necklace glowed, before it exploded into power which entered Raynare's body, allowing her to face Rias.

Rias clashed with Raynare, and although Raynare was sent shooting through the walls of the church and burst out into the forest, Raynare was alright in the end, and slowly a grin appeared on her face.

'This is my favor for helping me get a job, this power would last 5 minutes before it disappears... good luck.' Raynare joyful smile disappeared as my voice entered her head, and she quickly realized she needed to finish this battle as quickly as she could, meanwhile, the other fallen angels fought Akeno and the others.

Rias created orbs of destruction which she through at Raynare, who flashed around the forest dodging the orbs that erased everything they touched. In the past, Rias couldn't move around while using her power, it took too much focus, but as of now, she was flashing around as well, keeping up with Raynare.

Raynare created spears of light, taking all of the openings Rias had, she wasn't an experienced fighter, and that was a huge flaw when they were about equal in power.

Rias had to fly around, dodging all of the light spears, while forcing Raynare away with her orbs of destruction. The explosion of the spears of light and the orbs of destruction destroyed the land around them for dozens of meters, leaving the place destroyed.

Within the church, Akeno faced two of the fallen angels, Dohnaseek (the man) and Mittelt (the loli fallen angel), it was a hard battle in which she was losing. She was about equal to just one of them,

But Kiba (Rias' knight), and Koneko Toujou (Rias Rook) who were fighting Kalawarna (a blue-haired fallen angel) were at a standstill, both sides seemed equal.

Issei had finished his battle with the Stray Exorcist, and arrived for Asia... but she had died. Swallowed with grief and rage, and seeing his friends losing, he shot forward to vent his wrath upon them, helping Akeno with his Sacred Gear transforming. The initial form of the Boosted Gear transformed, finally becoming the Boosted Gear.

With Issei's help, although Akeno didn't get the upper hand, things weren't as hard on her as before. All they could do was wait for Rias to finish the battle, but the battle between Rias and Raynare finished quickly... well, more like Raynare called the angels to fall back. So, the angels did just that, fleeing away and leaving Rias burning with an uncontrollable rage towards them...

"Why are we fleeing?" Mittelt asked not knowing why they were fleeing, with Raynare holding Rias back and with them slowly winning, they had everything in the bag.

"This power is about to leave," Raynare said and with those words, that power to rival Rias disappeared, leaving Raynare with the illusion of suddenly becoming extremely weak.

"Did you take her sacred gear?" Raynare asked, hoping they took Asia's sacred gear when she was busy fighting Rias... but she was disappointed as they didn't do it.

"I was so close..." Raynare said almost in tears... well, now it was not safe to stay in Kuoh town, they had to leave. Rias was too powerful.

"...looks like she used it," I said lightly while playing on my PS3, the PS4 isn't out just yet. I didn't care to check why Raynare had to use the necklace, I had no interest in the supernatural world... at least not yet.

"Anos, I want to sleep in your room tonight." My mother said while entering my room butt naked, she slept in the nude. She said something about being unable to breathe with clothing on... and I agree since I also slept in the nude... although I had boxers on.

"Do what you want," I said without a care, and to that she hugged me tightly, causing me to quickly pause the game to look at her in confusion.

"Give me this chance to be a mother... before I lose you." She said softly, tears falling down her eyes. I sighed while removing her blonde hair, and looked her deeply in the eyes.

"What could kill me? Did you forget I'm your son?" I asked to which she said nothing, causing my eyes to narrow as I pulled her off me.

"What do you know?" I asked while standing up, looking at her with a glare, she bit her lips for a moment, not wanting to say it.

"Mom!" I said my voice growing serious, 

"The reason I had the disease is because of you... the thing you called a source, I have been absorbing it into my being all the time so you don't harm anyone else." She said with a downcast look, causing my eyebrow to raise 

I quickly looked at myself, but I didn't see anything about my source leaking... until I looked deeper, looking deeper than ever before, looking at the source that existed deeper than my source. That was a weird concept to wrap your head around, the concept of your concept, I never knew such a thing existed until now when I looked with all my focus... and there I saw it, the power of nothingness and Destruction clashing, birthing something new.

But it's this thing I couldn't sense which affected my source in such a way my demonic powers were leaking out, and she had to absorb it... no, she didn't absorb it willingly, her body adapted to being around me for so long and had begun to start absorbing it, transforming her... but it wasn't stable, leading to her catching that disease.

"I didn't want to tell you... I couldn't." She said with a sad look, while I found something else that was wrong with my source. The main reason I never sensed anything off... I was cursed. But how? By the looks of things, I was cursed in my past life before my death. But my daughter was the one who killed me... what was going on?

"I lost my daughter once, I didn't want to lose you as well... Something told me if I told you... something bad was going to happen. So, I planned to one day just leave, as long as I'm away from you, I would have healed." She said to which I looked at her for some time, before snapping my finger, easily healing her of the disease and healing her source which was being affected by mine.

After, I looked into the sky, my eyes growing sharp as I tried to see past the multiverse, and past everything to see outside this verse... but I couldn't, not without risking my power going out of my control.

"...Something bad is happening... right? I knew I shouldn't have told you." She said realizing her gut feeling was right all this time. I sighed lightly, when I noticed the curse and destroyed it, someone's eyes locked onto mine.

"Nothing I can handle... well, now that I understand the route of the reason why I was struggling to control my powers. I have 3 powers, I balanced 2 out of the 3." I said lightly, the power of destruction and nothingness seemed to have birthed a new power. It had the potential to be strong enough to stand as equal to nothingness, although I wasn't sure if it could rival my destruction... as for why I thought my Destruction was the strongest... well if I ever need to use that power to the fullest, you would see why I think that.

"I should need 3 days to fully master this. I said while jumping backwards in time, and popping up once I mastered the power.

"Y-you're done?" She asked feeling her body absorbing nothing now. I nodded lightly. I went on to start stretching my body for the first time without the fear of just erasing everything around me. For the past 17 years, I have been walking on eggshells, scared that I would just fart and destroy the whole multiverse. But I didn't need to worry about that, I was almost in complete control.

I couldn't control that power if I couldn't use all of its might and try and understand it and control it. I was lucky that to use the full might of destruction, I needed to open those eyes, otherwise, I would be in nothingness the moment I woke up in this body 17 years ago.

"Well, I guess now I could go into the supernatural world... next month," I said with a sigh, feeling how I had the urge to be a demon lord... well, in this case, I would be a devil lord.

"You're not mad?" She asked seeing how unbothered I was about her keeping that secret from me.

"A little... but then again, the being coming here might hold the power to make me die," I said lightly, remembering the battle Anos died in. If it's that being, a being who called himself an outer god... an omnipotent being. Anos was able to fight against such things but in the end, he lost, would I be able to win with my current capability?

"I need to be better," I said lightly while looking deep into the abyss known as magic... it was deeper than I expected, those 3 days made me find a way to strengthen my capability to a level even Anos could never picture.

Also, if for example the being coming here would take 3 days to arrive. If I went 5 trillion years into the past, that being would still arrive 3 days later, 5 trillion years in the past. At beings of that level, time loses all meaning... but even they seem to hold some concept of time, I'm guessing like how there was a source that existed deeper than my source, there was time that existed deeper... I will call that time Absolute Time. I was sure if I could comprehend that, I would take a step closer to standing as equals to those outer gods, beings that transcend everything, laws, order, reason, and so on. Even Anos's power and capability were transcended... why? Because the Outer God gave Anos no contradiction... no, there were contradictions, they were just hidden... as for what was so special about contradictions... well, that's for a later date.
