New members of the family
"We are home," Xavier announced as soon as they entered the house but surprised not to see his grandpa at the door. "Where is grandpa?" He asked the maid, who opened the door.
He usually stood by the door when he knew that he was arriving.
"He is in his study." The maid answered. "You have to excuse your grandpa. He is still recovering from his illness."
"I better check on him," Xavier said to his uncle, who drove him to his grandpa's house.
"Go ahead. Uncle must be waiting for you." He patted the boy to go to the study. "Hey, remember what we talked about." He reminded Xavier not to talk about the babies yet. He wanted to be the one to tell them.
"Of course, Uncle," Xavier said with a wink. He even made a sign that he was zippering his lips to make his point.
"Go. I'll wait for Ashton and Melissa in the living room." Raf went straight to the sofa and grabbed the remote. He planned to check on the news while he waited for the others.
