”your parents...”
I stare at Creamy, he moved away from the door and walked toward me, and closed the distance between us, his hands went to my shoulders. And held me. I stare at his eyes.
“What do you mean?” I finally found my voice.
“C’mon in.” He said to me, but I couldn’t move it was as if my legs were rooted to the ground. I couldn’t move from where I was. Wasn’t it a good thing that they were alive, but was I ready to face them?
“You don’t want to see them, they’re your parents Ama.”
I looked up at him.
“What should I say, they left me.. what should I possibly say to them.”
“They had no choice Amaia, you were gonna get killed. That was the only option they had. They thought it would save you..”
“And what if father had come to me? What if he didn’t come, what would’ve happened to me? I would’ve to die either way!” I stressed.
“But they didn’t drop you there at Novak with the intent of letting you die but saving you, that probably there might be someone who would come for you. You shouldn’t hate on them.”
“I’m not hating on them, I don’t even wanna see them. If you ain’t gonna let me see Zyair, then I would’ve too...”
“I didn’t say you won’t see Zyair. He won’t even want you to see him right now.”
“Where’s he? What happened to him.”
If something had happened to him, he won’t be this calm. He would’ve locked himself up somewhere and played dead.
“He’s resting.”
“Resting?” I questioned.
“He came to me.” I blurted out. I know something was wrong, first was his strength leaving me and then his appearance to me. It meant something. It wasn’t something I could look over with.
“What do you mean?” He looked started and scared all of a sudden.
Something was wrong with Zyair that he wasn’t telling me.
“I would..”
“Amaia...?”
The voice came from behind Creamy. Creamy moved aside and they came in view. I stare at them, the older man, he was tall huge and slightly bent, his eyes were green. His jaw was perfectly squared. His skin had gone tanned and his muscles were strong and his hardened chest.
The woman was the opposite of him, and she fitted well in his arms. She was just as small as I was. Her hair was brown and blonde. Their face had all wrinkled up.
He let go of his mate and came to me. I moved away from him.
There was hurt in his eyes when I looked at him.
“Amaia..?” He called to be sure of what he was saying. The sad smile came afterward.
“Is you, is it truly you, daughter?”
I gulped.
“Why didn’t you find me? The daughter you were ashamed of.”
“I wasn’t ashamed.”
“You were scared then.”
I bite my lips and looked away from him when he had no reply. Why was he out now, he was hiding and had probably denied me a lot of times that I wasn’t his daughter. Now they suddenly want me.
“Forgive us.” She said.
“Don’t even say a word,” I warned. Pointing a finger at her.
“Give us another chance, let’s tell you how it all happened.” He said to me. I glared at him.
“I don’t wanna know what the fuck happened, what happened is you abandoned me. That was it. That’s the Fuck that happened!”
“We’re Sorry.”
“What would it do, it won’t change me from being cursed.”
“We wanna make things right.”
“How?” I was getting frustrated. How could they make it right? I went through a whole lot. Do they think it’s that easy, that I was just gonna run into them with open arms?
“Amaia..” Creamy came in between us.
“This is Roger and Anne. They’re your parents.” He said the obvious to me.
I shook my head.
I wasn’t gonna believe it even when I saw the resemblance in him. I wasn’t gonna believe it, even when it was all true.
“C’mon. Let’s talk.”
I shook my head at Creamy.
“Give them a chance, it could be a chance for you too, you get to live like every other wolf. Isn’t that part of what you wanted.”
“Then it was. I wanted all that, but that dream. It’s all gone.”
“We just had to make it happen again.”
“What’s it with you Creamy!” I yelled at him.
“I made a promise.”
I couldn’t take it anymore. I couldn’t do it, staying here and staring at their faces.
I took another step backward. The thought in my head right now was to run. And that was what I was gonna do. Run as far as I could. Run away from them. That was the only thing my feelings were telling me. And I had to do it before I end up doing something crazy. And they’re never gonna like it.
But I couldn’t do what I had planned it seems Creamy already had an idea about what was I planning before I could execute the plan. Seems he’d known me too well.
I was pulled backward and bundled up into the house by huge wolves. I didn’t even get the chance to protest.
I tried to fight them off but I couldn’t. I didn’t know what they had used on me. That’d got me weak. I felt the substance when they touched me. Like they’d it on their hands.
“Let go, Creamy!” I yelled.
“I’m sorry, I can’t let you run off this time. You can’t keep running away, this time you ain’t gonna hide. Because this time we’re all fighting together. There’s a room prepared for you. You’ll bath, then eat and we’ll try again.”
“Creamy!” I yelled.
“What did you do to me?”
“The plan B.” He smiled.
I wanted to slap that smile off his face. How could he smile? The bastard! What stupid plan B was he talking about? He was so lucky, that I didn’t get my hands on him.
“I’m gonna kill you!” I groaned as I was been pulled away.
“I’ll be waiting.” He waved me off.
That got me so pissed. The annoying jerk!
Am so gonna crush him!
Damn you Creamy!
And I was hurled off his sight. With Creamy having the wins.
