Chapter 3: I do see you

After my 'lock myself away' session , I ended up sitting on the bottom of the stairs waiting for Erinn and Uncle .

I was so deep in thought that I didn't even see them come in ," Sunset , you're still up " Erinn says looking at me weirdly.

"What took you guys so long ?" I ask in a tired tone. "We bought food for the house also" Uncle mumbles out.

I sigh,"Lets just go see your room " Erinns' face lights up and we head over to her room. Her door was a normal white painted door but when she opened it, the LED colour of the rainbow come from her door. The door gave way to stairs that led down.

Marshmellow stepped on the first one and it sounded like a piano key." Did it just make a sound and light up?"she rambles out." It's tune to make the sound of piano tiles" Uncle smirks at her.

I was too one minded ,to be interested so I made my way to my room. I was half way there when someone grabbed my arm.

"Phoenix , E told me that you both have your drivers licence" Uncle says letting go of my arm.

I raise an eyebrow for him to go on,"I was going to buy the cars,what car would you like?" he asked with hope in his eyes ."Whatever suits my personality" I shrug and walk off.

I don't know how I knew but I need up at our indoor gym. I walked up to the punching bag without thinking and let all me emotions take over.

I really don't know how long I was here, but the moment I felt on my shoulder I stopped ."It's 4 in the morning what's going on ?" It's Erinn ,she looks like she just woke up .

I look down at my hands to see blood dripping from them.

How did that happened, how long was I here. I don't even feel any pain.

"I thought you said you were done fighting ?" she asks, eyes full of concern." You can't just forget a skill" I whisper and make my way to my room.

Stripping myself of my clothes and getting into the hot steamy shower.

Once again my gaze drops to my hands. I just got my tatts done on my right knuckles, yet i don't feel anything not even a sting .

Numb that's what you are...

I couldn't hold it any longer , the tears started flowing. Matching the hot drops of water from the shower.

Unknown POV

I couldn't take it anymore, I swear if Alec said one more thing about this Erinn chick. I was gonna blow.

He kept going on about how hot she was and how she was Spanish and that he was gonna meet her best friends today. So i left.

Though I can still see him standing in the parking lot. Just as I'm about to leave I hear the monstrous roar.

The first thing I sew was a pink sports car but that can't be it , so I look behind it and see a girl on an old school motorbike.

Everyone was looking at her, but from what I'm hearing , people think its a guy.

I mean come on look at that ass.

Her friend gets out and goes over to Alec. Oh so that's Erinn. My eyes go back to the girl on the bike , she's busy taking off her skull helmet.

Blue!

Her hair is blue! I can't take my eyes off her .She has a studded leather jacket on with a black rip tights. She walks over and stands next to Erinn, I trail my eyes over her body till her eyes.

It's her, the girl with the hood on yesterday. I could never forget those stormie eyes.

I do a once over one more time but stop at her busted knuckles. What throws me off was the tattoo's on her right hand.

That wasn't there yesterday. Did she just get those? If she did why would she fight after,that had to hurt.

Spencer walking over to them pulls me out of my thoughts. I don't know why, but I glare towards the back of his head.

It got worse when I realise his talking to her and she answers him.

I have half the mind to walk up to them and take my Blue Bear away from there.

Wait, what the fuck is going on with me. Seriously. Blue Bear where did that come from I need to get out of here.

Lumina's POV

Damn ,Erinn for allowing Spencer and Alec to take us to this cafe before classes. She can't stop talking ,well heck all of them can't.

"You didn't text me" Spencer says sadly. All eyes at the table turn to me." You have his number" Erinn says looking at me like I'm crazy.

Duh! You anything but normal.

Shut your pie hole subby you scaring everyone away.

"My mind wasn't in the right place yesterday" I say just to keep them at bay. Just like that they went on with what they were doing before.

The day goes on like normal I guess , I was making my way to my secret place for my free period.

However, path stops by the indoor swimming pool. As if something is drawing me in.

It was him, the mystery guy that took me to class yesterday. He is cleaning the pool.

His wearing a black ripped jeans with a baggy hoodie. "I didn't know we have a pool" I say my words bouncing off the walls.

His head snaps to me and he stops cleaning. He looks at me like he doesn't know what to do or say .

Stupid Lumina! Just walk away.

Anytime bitch.

Instead of listening to the voice in my head I walk right up to him. I have to crane my neck to look him in the face.

I see his eyes light up,"That's because you're new" he says in that deep silky voice.

It was so smooth for someone so cold as ice."Why blue?" he asks cocking his head to the side.

"Because that's the colour of my soul" I whisper. Then I see it , bright lime flecks in his chocolate brown eyes.
