This book is mainly based in India. Also... the English is not great. If you are looking for a good English book, this is not for you. thankyou

Did you inform her?

Raghuram was shocked. Shocked was an understatement. He was stunned. He never expected Laya would say something like this. He looked at her in shock.

Slowly, understanding entered his eyes. "I never spent a single penny on you. Everything… I gave you and you enjoyed it all from your father's shares only. And I took some money from his account when I needed it. I guess everything got tallied to it. No need to give these to me. You don't owe me anything. Go now and rest," he said to her.

Laya wanted to say something but she felt her eyes welled with tears, she knew she couldn't hold them anymore. She clutched her documents tightly and walked out.

Sharada was waiting for Laya outside the study. But Laya was in a hurry to leave the room and didn't see Sharada waiting for her. She went directly to her room and closed the door with a bang.

She turned off the lights and laid on the bed, burying her face in the pillow. Tears streamed out of her eyes like a waterfall, under the pale moonlight her silvery tears glistened brightly reflecting the grief of the young woman on the bed. As if heaven was also sad because of her, a drizzle started in Hyderabad strangely in the middle of the summer, as if showing it is also feeling sad for her grief.

The whole of Pasupuleti's mansion was silent and dark, everyone went to sleep. But were they really sleeping? Laya's eyes were wide open in the night. Her eyes glistened under the moonlight.

Since… she has no choice apart from giving in, and agreeing to their commands was her best choice. With that decision, she closed her eyes. But again, she flew opened them. She wondered who her husband was and how she would be going to live with him? But now again… may be due to her tiredness and her exhaustion… She fell asleep. Not knowing she was going to face a horrible shock of her life the next day.

Raghuram… was feeling restless from the moment he returned to his room. He felt sad for hurting her. He wanted to hug her, pet her and comfort her, but he held himself from doing that. He has no choice but to do it. That's all for her good. He also gave her more than he should, he got her educated and do the things she likes and so on. Can't she understand him?

Even his wife, Sharada was looking at him as a criminal. From he fixed Laya's marriage… his wife was taunting him whenever she gets a chance. He has a habit of hugging her to his sleep, but these days she doesn't want his hugs. Surely… a mother would fight for her children no matter who was their opponent.

Even though they both share the same bed, they sleep at the other ends of the bed leaving a distance between them. Few feet of distance was equal to miles of distance in their relationship.

Meanwhile…

Sharada couldn't forget the look on Laya's expression. She was afraid of Laya's future questions.

"Did you tell her about her tomorrow's engagement?" Sharada asked Raghuram. She knew he hasn't slept still. So… she asked. How could he sleep when he made the little girl cry?
