Qin Mei's mother
Qin Mei woke up in the afternoon feeling extremely better and strong compared to the previous day.
"You're awake", Huo Xinhan put aside the newspaper and approached the sleeping beauty who had just woken up.
Qin Mei brushed aside her long hair behind her ears and sat up on the bed.
"How are you feeling today?", Huo Xinhan sat beside her.
"I feel perfectly fine. Thank you for yesterday", Qin Mei turned to him and smiled. She had to admit that she felt really grateful to him for being there for her when she was at her weakest.
She was one who could still stand strong even if she was stabbed a thousand times but that was not the case whenever her period came. She sized up her husband and noticed that he was dressed in casual and simple yet expensive limited clothes.
"You don't have to thank me. I'm your husband after all", Huo Xinhan chuckled lightly.
