Chapter 3:- Flashbacks

Next morning.

Amelia enjoyed a bubbly bath with a glass of wine. When she hears a knock at the door,

"Coming" Amelia replies.

"Hurry up!" Margaret replies.

Amelia opens the door and sees that Dutch Heiress, in her full grace, wearing a red silky dress above her knees. Margaret was a pure French, Italian whatever you want to call it, a pure beauty. She seemed annoyed.

"I thought we have sorted things out between us," Margaret says, her voice seeming doomed. While entering the room.

"I thought you might have some place in your heart, that might forgive me," Margaret says while sitting on the couch.

Amelia locks the room door, without replying, it seemed she didn't hear anything. Opening her fridge door.

"Wine" Amelia offers casually.

"We need to talk about this," Margaret says.

She was tired, she wanted her best friend to be on her side. She just wanted little compassion. After losing Noah, with her careless behavior, she wasn't ready to lose, someone else. Who was so close to her heart.

But Amelia was right at her place, Margaret created a lot of mess for her, on a professional and personal level. She wanted to forgive her. But she is a human, and Margaret wasn't giving her the margin of being a human. Amelia was shattered, she needed a lot of time to fix broken pieces of her personality.

"Do you remember that Carnival night?" Margaret murmurs.

A human being is all about memories, if you remove memories if you take away their power of remembrance. Then he is a dead man.

Memories are what we are, if you clear the slate of the brain and wash away all the memories, it will give that person a slow death. In this world, of knowledge, assume a Ph.D. he has his knowledge in the form of memory. Even our phone has a memory card to store our stuff. All scientific research is based on scientist's ability to remember.

But some memories are good and some are bad for someone depending on the situation. Flashbacks began to dance in front of her eyes.

"Yes!" Amelia murmurs in a soft and calm tone as if she was recalling the best times of her life.
