Chapter 5

His first job as Agent is quite hard. They need to sabotage the drug syndicate led by a well known businessman and a politician in New York.

"Agents 10 armed men in front of the gate. And 10 at the back door. Be careful. Also, there are a total of 8 men who are roaming around, they are divided by 2 in each floor. You need to get to the 4th floor as soon as possible and put the bomb in their laboratory." His partner Agent Y said through his earpiece.

" Roger that." He said in a cold tone.

Using his rope, he climbed up to the roof. When he saw one of the guards he immediately hid. And took some time to prepare his gun with silencer. He shot the 2 roaming guards. He took off the 2 dead bodies and hide it in one of the opened room, then he immediately closed it.

He went to the door where the laboratory is.

"There are 4 men coming You must hide." Agent Y said. But it's too late. When one of the guards asked him.

"Who are you!" ask by one of the armed men. He is using a black mask to cover up his identity. He didn't say any single word instead, he pointed out his gun and immediately pull the trigger. The armed men didn't have a time to get their guns from their waist as Agent A shoot them in their forehead. And for what he did to the two guys, he also hid the dead bodies inside the other room.

"That was close" Agent Y said. He just smirked.

He slowly open the door, as he entered the room, he immediately put the bombs in the hidden areas of the room. Aside from the bomb inside the room, he also put some bombs on his way and to the other rooms.

"I'm done here, start the timer Agent Y. I'll go outside." He said.

"Roger that." Agent Y responded. As he went out of the room he saw armed men charting while passing through him. He is a bit nervous, because the bomb will explode in 10 minutes. When he secured the area. He immediately climbed up to the roof.

" You have 2minutes left to leave the area Agent A. You need to hurry.!" Panicked is evidence in Agent Y's voice.

"I'm almost there." He responded and he ran faster as he could. And just as he stepped out on the building, the bomb started to explode.

The guards, panicked as they saw the building was on fire. They ran, and look for the water, some men are hunting on who's behind the explosion.

Little did they know, the person who preceded the explosion had escaped.

An evil grinned plastered on Agent A's face as he walks towards their car. "Good job Michael Angelo. You succeeded your first assignment as Agent. " Yohan said and grinned.

Yohan as Agent Y. He will be his partner in every assignment they're will be assigned. Yohan also good at fighting, but most of the time he is assigned in hacking computers. When it comes to technology, it's a piece of cake for him. Also, he is good at defusing bombs, inventing different gadgets. That is why he is called as the hi tech inventor in their agency. Yohan is working as an agent for almost 10 years. He accepted the job since he was 10 years old. He is a year older than Michael Angelo. Michael Angelo is also known as Agent A he is the so called "Ace" of their team, Michael Angelo is also their team leader. Despite that Yohan entered the Agency first, Michael Angelo is very good at fighting, they become friends since the day Michael Angelo entered the agency.

Their superior congratulate them as they went back to their agency. After a long night, he has to rest because he still has school tomorrow. He decided to go back to his condo.

He was about to sleep, when his phone rung. Furthermore, he smiled.

"Hey Mom. How are you?" He asked. Her mom groaned like a child which made him chuckled.

"Son, I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me... Anyway how about you? How's school? Did you eat? Don't skip your meal okay? When are you coming home? I miss you son... Your Dad and I misses you a lot. " Mrs Adelaine asked continuously.

He rolled his eyes... "I'm Fine Mom, don't worry about me... Alright?. And about that, I will visit you this coming summer," His mother's gasps.

"Oh really?? That's good then. And by the way, Athena's birthday is coming, and we are invited. I hope you could come." A minute of silence pass by. He didn't even know what to say. And it's been years since they talked, and he never tried to communicate the girl.

"I hope, you and Athena are good. She is your fiancé anyway." Her mother said with a sadness in her voice.

"Don't worry about us mom. We're good. And... W-We'll fix it by ourselves. I just need time." He said in a cold tone.

Mrs Adelaine knew about what happened between the two children, Michael told him about it.

"Alright I'll leave it to you then. Anyway, it's getting late there, why are you still awake?" Mrs. Smith asked trying to change the topic.

" I was about to sleep when you called. I just came home from one of my classmate to finish our project." He said.

"You should sleep son. I'll drop the phone. Take care. I missed you son. Sleep tight." His mother said sweetly.

" Okay mam. Take care also. Send my regards to Dad. I miss you both. I love you." he said sincerely.

"We love you too Son." And with that Mrs. Adelaine drop the call.

Michael Angelo couldn't help but to wonder if how was Athena. It's been years since their arguments happened. He knows that, that argument was just a childish thing but he has this ego of his was been trampled. But he can't deny the fact that he misses the girl a lot.

Michael heave a sigh and shook his thoughts away, before closing his eyes and drove himself into a deep slumber.
