The Talk

"Do you like him?" Arya's question caught Luna off guard. She flushed in embarrassment.

She averted her gaze as her feet led her toward her room. Arya followed, feeling the need to have this conversation.

Fortunately, Luna didn't close the door on her. She left it open inviting her inside. 

Arya waited patiently for the younger lady to speak. She could see the confusion and conflict in her eyes. 

"I have been on a mission for as long as I can remember. Unlike most agents, my strongest weapon is my age and beauty. Not that I want to brag. It's nothing to be proud of. 

Even so, I had no problem with it. I felt powerful watching men fall for my charms. It made me realize that a woman has the power to destroy the world as much as she does to rule it. 

Throughout my mission, I knew deep down that those men were my prey. I knew better than to give them any part of me. Of course, there are times that I sympathize with them.
