Get lost!.

The alarm rang repeatedly, but Laura still didn't hear it. When the tenth rang, she finally woke up. She tried to take her cell phone while rubbing her eyes with one hand. When she dimly looked at the clock, the girl immediately widened her eyes.

"Damn, I'm late again!" Laura swore. She immediately rushed out of her bed and went to the bathroom. She left the bed conditions as it is, very messy.

Patrick was already waiting for her when she arrived. The smile on his face looked a tad bit too bright for comfort as he greeted, "Good morning, Miss Laura. President Williams is already waiting in the private room. Follow me, please."

"I'm sorry for being late," Laura responded as she hurried after him.

Laura was still confused as she entered the lounge. When she heard the door being closed, she turned to see that Logan had not followed her in.

"Take a seat," the familiar voice from somewhere ahead. It was deep and articulate, akin to how the last string on the cello would sound.

Laura gave a polite smile and pulled the chair across from him, growing uncomfortable.

"President Williams, This was the initial blueprint that our team came up with. You may take a look if you please." Laura slid the draft to him.

Richard scanned the drawing with an unreadable expression; any thought that he had remained as elusive as his person. After a long silence, she watched as he pushed the drawing to one side of the table.

"Have dinner with me tonight." Richard buttoned up his sleeve and looked at her calmly.

"I am sorry. I already have an appointment." Laura rejected politely.

"With Whom?" Richard crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"Sorry! President Williams. That's my private affairs." Laura looked at Richard, her mind racing non-stop, for she thought the man had some ulterior motive.

Richard's lips slowly arched into a slightly mocking smile. "Are you angry at me because I haven't given you an answer?."

"Huh? What answer do I need from you?." Laura replied with a confused look.

"About marrying you." Richard lifted his brows.

Laura merely straightened her back. "President Williams, Are you still thinking about the joke I made the other day?"

"As I said, the truth is hidden within your joke. You don't have to worry; I'm still thinking about it." Richard replied.

"Haha!" Laura burst out in laughter as she tilted her head.

"You aren't thinking of getting with your brother-in-law, are you?" Richard rubbed his chin with his thumb as he awaited her answer.

"President Williams, Aren't we here to discuss the details of the Deal Project?." Laura hardened her gaze.

"The details and features in your team design are well-thought-of, Miss Laura," Richard said in an aloof voice. When he was done with his words, he rose from his seat.

He stood tall and Laura found herself craning her neck to look at him. "Thank you, President Fuller—"

However, Richard looked disinterested as he took the suit jacket that he had discarded to one side. He turned to leave the room before she could finish her sentence.

"Annoying!" Laura hissed.

"Aria, get your ass over here now!" A man's cold and angry voice was heard from a large bed in the middle of the bedroom.

"Do you know how many times I have called your name? Go and get me a cup of water. I'm thirsty." Vinson glared at Aria with cold eyes.

Aria sighed and said, "Mr Hart, you have already drunk two cups of water tonight. You drink too much water, and that's why you always need to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Besides, you'll get puffy if you drink too much water." She felt that she needed to say this out loud.

Vinson snorted coldly, threw her a sideways glance, and replied, "Seems like you are very comfortable with me. You are giving me advice! Don't you wanna keep this job?."

Feeling a little helpless, Aria said, "I am sorry. Forgive me."

"Why does he wake up five or six times in the middle of the night?." Shaking her head vigorously, Aria descended the stairs and then headed to the kitchen.

Heaving a hopeless sigh, Aria got the wooden tray and placed a mug on it. With a bit of a rush but extra carefully, Aria entered the bedroom and placed the tray on the coffee table.

Under the warm lamplight, Vinson was lying on the bed, eyes opened wide, shining like stars. The blanket only covered his legs and waist.

"Hey! Turn on that light....."

Before Vinson finished his sentence, Aria pulled off his blanket, lifted him to her chest and then put him in the wheelchair. After that, she thoughtfully put a pillow behind his back.

The man froze. He clenched his teeth and said with a dark face, "Who told you to lift me? I can do it myself. Get lost from my sight."
