The door to the room opens, and a wolf guard walks in with a business like, burly stance, gripping on to a figure behind him.

When he places the person down in a seat opposite me, I take them in.

Dark brown curly hair, deep brown eyes, a slight curved nose and pouted rosy red lips.. Slim, but curvy.

The look on the face of.. My mother?? Is one of anger, hatred and contempt.

I am speechless.

Fiona Jane Bathas is sat before me..

I had dreamt so many times that she would come back to me.. That her death was nothing but a bad dream.

And now she's here..

I'm not relieved, or happy, I'm furious.. I want to slap her silly.

"Why the hell did you shoot me?" I snap, anger pulsing through my veins, "what did I do that was so bad?"

Mother.. You know what, she isn't my mum; Fiona just glares at me, with her arms crossed defiantly.

"Answer me!" I slam my fist down on the table, producing a giant fissure through the wood.
