She was the woman I saw swimming toward me. I was dumbfounded, she put her life on the line for me. Why would she do that? Knowing she is asthmatic. The idea of seeing someone risk their life to save me left me with a new feeling.
Her stiff body and closed eyes made me more numb. I put her in that state. It was because of me, she's in this condition. The CPR her friend was doing didn't make her budge.
"Where's her inhaler?" I asked. "And let me." I unbuttoned her shirt.
"What are you doing?" Her friend asked. "Why are you unbuttoning her shirt?"
"Because the longer this shirt is on her, the more dangerous it is. She's asthmatic, but first, if her inhaler is the car. Can you get it?"
