Yass studied Nino's face for a minute and lowered her eyes to the scripts in her hands. She smirked and turned the script that was upside down in Nino's grip. "Something happened, didn't it? You reading upside down proves it. Come on, spill the beans."
Nino slammed the scripts on the desk. Startling Joana and Yass. She bit her tongue and met their prying eyes. "How many times, will I tell you nothing happened. Nothing happened."
"You spent literally two hours in there. What were you two discussing?"
"Didn't you two send me to him to find out why he left the dining? And you two know how difficult it is to get Toro to talk."
"Fair enough." Joana shrugged. "So did he tell the reason?"
"Well." Nino turn away from them and focused her gaze on a spot. "He said he got upset so he left."
"Upset?" Yass inquired. "Why would he be upset? Did we say something that made him upset?"
