Selene Mistake

After Apolo became one of the twelve gods of Olympus, he has been thinking if how to make his sister, Artemis replace Selene.

So one day, Apolo visited Aphrodite and gave her a star core in exchange for her using her power to cure Selene.

The curse made Selene fall in love with a shepherd when she was guiding the moon. This made Selene cast a spell to make fall asleep forever and put him in a cave. Every night when Selene was suppose to guide the moon, she would stop to meet the sleeping shepherd causing the night to grew longer.

As Selene continue having a meeting with the sleeping shepherd, she became pregnant. And so one night, when she was meeting with shepherd, she gave birth to twelve daughter and with the borth of her daughters, time was divided into twelve moths every year. The first month being January. The second month being Febuary. The thind month being March. The fourth month being April. The fifth month being May. The sixth month being June. The seventh month being July. The eighth month being Agust. The ninth month being september. The tenth month being October. The eleventh month being November. And the twelveth month being December.

Their birth alarm the gods, making the aware that Selene have been neglecting her duties.

And so a meeting was held . In the meeting, it was decided that since Selene wants to spend so much time with the Shepherd that she would neglect her duty to guide the moon, Selene would lose her part of the ownership of the Mooncycle causing her to no longer be able to guied the moon and making Artemis the full owner of the mooncycle.

And that was suppose to be over but Apolo use this as a reason to show that Selene is incompetent and should not be one of the twelve olympian.

Nearly all the olympian agreed with only Athena and Aphrodite disagreeing and Heohaestus being the only one that was neutral.

And so Selene was derived of her position as one of the twelve gods of Olympus. Artemis who was also the goddess of the moon replace Selene as one of the twelve gods of Olympus.
