Decision

One thing I was sure of was that I had to leave my country if I wanted to find what I was searching for and also for my own growth.

I knew that women in my country weren't so open about sex, especially married women. After all, It was considered taboo.

I could make use of my title but that would still take more work and time than it would take with foreign women.

I was just lucky until now. Aunt wouldn't have done what she did if I was someone else. Though my title played a vital role, if she wasn't comfortable around me and the situation made it so, I wouldn't have gotten the chance to do it with her.

I may be able to sleep with a few more using my title but it would take a long process and I would have to spend a lot of time behind every one of them.

Time was something that I didn't have. I had to find a cure for my mother before something unimaginable happened because I played passive.

So after some thinking I decided to leave my country for the greater good.

I may have to move from her but I steeled my heart. I had no other option. It would take forever if I stayed there.

I was on my way to hospital when I met Aisha outside of the house who was about to visit me. After learning where I was going she decided to tag along.

We took a cab to the hospital. In the meantime she asked me why I was sick yesterday. So I lied to her and told her that I ate something that gave me food poisoning.

She had no idea that I just slept with her mother. I chuckled when I remembered that she teased me sometimes by calling me dad.

But now I might really become her step dad if aunt carries on what we did last night.

We entered the cabin. Mom was still laying on the bed with closed eyes. My heart hurt like hell every time I saw her that way.

This made my decision firmer. I was completely convinced to leave my country.

Aisha stood by the door and I sat on the chair that was beside her bed.

"Mom, I will leave the country for some time." I told her my decision. I didn't know if she was listening to me or not but I said anyway.

Aisha was completely shocked when she heard me. She wanted to say something but stopped herself for the time being.

"It won't take long. I will return soon. And next time you won't need to stay here. I find a way to cure you. So hold on for me."

"We will continue our tour when you wake up. I had so many plans for that trip. And I intend to fulfil them, no matter what I have to do."

I stood up after another few minutes. I kissed her forehead and went outside with Aisha.

Aisha was silent the whole time until we reached my home.

As soon as we sat on the sofa she asked "when did you make this plan?"

"today morning" I answered

"Why do you have to leave the country?" She asked softly.

"I have to Aisha. This is the only way I can cure mom." I replied seriously

"How, you leaving the country, would help aunty?" She almost screamed

"I can't tell you now. But I have a way." I told her softly.

Aisha turned silent. I knew what she was going through. But I had no other choice.

I hugged her tighter and continued "I am not leaving for forever. I will come back as soon as Possible."

After another minute Aisha said "I will go with you."

"No, stay here. I want to leave mom in your and Aunt's care. If you go with me, who will watch over mom?" I denied her.

Aisha's eyes turned misty when she heard me. We continued to hug each other. After another minute Aisha said in barely audible tone "I like you, Ethan."

"I know." I replied with a smile.

She moved back and looked at me with surprise. "Since when?"

"Since you made me break up with Tisha." I replied with a smile.

"She was bad news. I just helped a friend." She replied while shying.

"I know that. That was also why I never got angry with you." I chuckled.

Aisha blushed and hugged me again. "I don't want to be just your friend anymore."

I wasn't feeling that good inside. I was confused about what to do.

I love my mom. And I would never change that for another girl. But it would be a lie if I say I don't like Aisha. But what was even more shocking was that I just had sex with her mother last night.

I saw my future dark. What would happen if they find out about each other? Will I be the reason for world war three?

Aisha relaxed a bit. She stopped hugging me and looked me in the eyes and asked "so, will you accept me?"

I was in a dilemma. I didn't know what to answer her. But I sighed and let destiny take its own course.

Seeing me hesitating, Aisha became sad. She hugged me and said "it's okay. If you don't accept me, just don't leave me."

I sighed and rubbed her back and said "sorry Aisha. I don't want to lie to you. Nor do I want to hurt you. But will you wait for me until I return and then decide if you still want to continue to have a relationship with me?"

Aisha nodded and replied "sorry, I acted impulsive. I know you are facing difficulties with all this." She moved back and faced me "I will wait until you return."

Her eyes were red. I felt sad doing this to her.

I touched her face, moved my face forward and kissed her. She was surprised but happy nonetheless. It was just a normal kiss, nothing else.

I should have told her what happened but telling her that would hurt her more. I might even become the reason for her family to break. I never would want that.

I just left everything to fate.
