Ai Ai Ai I'm your little butterfly - 14

***

Hayasaka fidgeted with her phone, trying to find the picture of the former Ace member of B-Komachi Gojo had asked for. As she scrolled through her gallery, Gojo's attention was caught by the numerous pictures of himself that Hayasaka had secretly taken and stored. He couldn't help but feel flattered, but also amused by her antics.

"Ai, you have quite a collection of pictures of me there," Gojo teased, a smirk on his face.

Hayasaka's cheeks turned red with embarrassment as she quickly switched to a different album, trying to change the subject. Despite her efforts, Gojo couldn't resist commenting on her lightning-fast reflexes.

"You're really something, Hayasaka," he said with a chuckle, making her feel even more self-conscious. But even so, Hayasaka continued scrolling through her gallery, hoping to find the picture that Gojo had asked for. Oh, rather than a picture she found a video.

"Oh, here it is! This is a video of Ai during her prime," she exclaimed, showing it to Gojo. The video showcased Ai, the former center of the idol group B-Komachi. As they watched it together, Gojo couldn't help but be captivated by the way how Ai appeared and performed, even through the screen.

As they continued watching, Gojo began to notice something about Ai's performance. Her eyes seemed to have an otherworldly shine, almost like a Mangekyō Sharingan. It was an odd choice of cosmetic lens, but it only added to her radiance. On top of that she was the only member of B-komachi wearing some lenses. It was as if she was meant to be a main character in a story, and Gojo couldn't help but wonder if she really is one—

??? Gojo was confused.

Gojo felt like he was seeing things as he recalled a vivid image from another work by Aka Akasaka, [Oshi No Ko], which he knew absolutely nothing about. And now, the same image he remembered was the one he was watching on the screen.

As they continued watching, Gojo's eyes widened in realization as he saw the striking resemblance between the cover photo and the person dancing in the video. "Yeah, it matches," he muttered under his breath, feeling a sense of shock and curiosity.

Gojo realized that he had stumbled upon a new revelation that this world is a shared universe.

"Idol," Gojo repeated to himself, realizing that it was the one word that could potentially unlock all the answers he was seeking. "She died by a crazed fan... underground idol... legendary one...Unrivaled. Never to appear again?" he muttered to himself, connecting the dots between the information he had gathered from what he heard from Hayasaka.

'What kind of connection does that world have to do with this one I'm in?' He wondered.

Oh, more importantly those eyes. Then they might not be cosmetics lenses at all. The six-pointed star eye. I think there was a word for it. Hoshigan?

Gojo turned to Hayasaka, who was still watching the video with him. "Hey, Hayasaka," he asked, "what do you think of Ai's eyes? Why is she the only one with stars on her eyes?"

"Stars?" Hayasaka replied, confused. "I don't see any stars in her eyes."

Gojo furrowed his brow. "But they're there," he said, pointing to the screen. "They're shining so brightly, pretty much telling me she's a main character of a story."

Ai shrugged. "I don't know what to tell you. Maybe it's just the lighting or something."

Gojo nodded slowly, deep in thought. This is something he probably could only see. Maybe Flone or Kaguya could see it too.

As they continued watching more of Ai's performances and B-Komachi videos, Gojo found himself becoming more and more intrigued by this idol group. He couldn't help but feel a sense of mystery surrounding them, especially since he had never heard of them in the world of Kaguya-sama: Love is War.

Should…I look more into this? He doesn't exactly want to. But he was especially curious about the eyes. Ai's eye sometimes shines brightly, and the star within it seems to expand beyond her pupil.

Just when Gojo and Ai thought they had seen everything, a video began auto playing, it was a bit of poor quality considering it was an old video from the past, but it was featuring a baby twin performing an idol dance to B-Komachi's performance. It was then that Gojo noticed something peculiar - both infants had a single star on either their left or right eye.

Gojo's mind raced as he pieced together the puzzle of Ai's death. Recalling the significant hiatus in her career as an idol, he had a theory that there was a connection. The revelation hit him hard - those twins weren't just secret relatives of Ai's, they were her children. This new story got dark really quick.

'What the hell, Aka Akasaka? I'm glad I didn't read that one.' Gojo thought. 'This story is probably fucked up. I didn't think he had it in him.'

And that pretty much gave him a conclusion on why Ai died. Either she had a man and/or she got caught. Probably more information can be found if he went to strawberry production. Upon noticing that the channel name was Strawberry Productions, the only idol agency that manages B-Komachi.

Honestly, he doesn't want to touch that world. This is probably a story that takes place before or after Kaguya Sama love is war.

It was also when Gojo noticed the date of the video, he realized that the twins were still kids and would most likely be the protagonists of a future story.

Gojo let out a deep sigh as his mind began to wander aimlessly. "Those eyes," he muttered to himself, lost in thought.

Ai Hayasaka was intrigued. "What about the eyes?" she asked, eager to know more.

"I can't seem to shake the thought of those eyes. They have stars in them, both Ai and the baby twins." Gojo said, his mind still fixated on the mysterious stars.

"Hold on a second," Ai Hayasaka interrupted, her mind racing as she processed Gojo's words. Stars in their eyes, Ai's hiatus, and now the revelation that the twins with stars on their eyes. That would mean they were possibly her children. But only Gojo noticed the stars in their eyes.

"Wait...are you suggesting those twins are Ai's children?" she asked, her voice filled with shock and disbelief. "Oh my god, Gojo!" she exclaimed, her mind reeling with the implications of this new information.

"I'm probably overthinking things, but if those eyes possess some sort of special power that can bend reality, then." Gojo muttered, shaking his head.

"Gojo, snap out of it! The real issue here is that those twins are Ai's children! This is something even the media hasn't uncovered," Ai Hayasaka exclaimed.

In a mixture of shock and frustration. "What kind of world are we living in where such things can happen and go unnoticed?" she added, her tone growing more serious. "And what's even more concerning is that if she went to such lengths to keep this a secret. We need to find out the truth about Ai's past."

"But why?" Gojo asked, arching his eyebrow.

A/N: Ai Hayasaka is a huge Ai fan.

"When I was younger, I used to admire her so much. She was my idol. I wish to know more." Ai Hayasaka said, her voice filled with nostalgia.

"Hmmm" Gojo hummed.

Gojo looked at her with a soft expression. "I can see why you admire her. She must be an incredible person to have such an impact on you," he said, reaching out to hold her hand.

Hayasaka blushed at his touch, feeling a warmth spread through her. "She is," she replied, her eyes meeting his. "But she's not the only one I admire," she added, giving him a small smile.

Gojo grinned at her words, leaning in to place a gentle kiss on her lips. "I know," he whispered.

As they pulled away, Gojo looked at her with a mischievous glint in his eye. "So, what do you say we do something special for Ai and her children?" he suggested, a smirk on his face.

Ai raised an eyebrow, curious about his idea. "What did you have in mind?" she asked, a playful smile tugging at her lips.

Gojo grinned, "I have a few ideas," he said, his voice low and seductive. "But first, let's get to work on finding out what happened to her and then we can help her children." still walking hand to hand on their way back to the Shinomiya household.

"I've analyzed the information we have found and come up with some possible conclusions and ideas. While the idol murderer may be dead, I believe there may be a mastermind behind Ai's death," Ai explained.

Gojo listened intently, his mind already racing with potential theories and suspects. But as Ai spoke, he realized that he might be putting her in danger by investigating further. He couldn't let anything happen to Hayasaka.

A/N: Like going out deep to explore/investigate types of danger.

Without hesitation, he reached for some mysterious artifacts in his 'armory' he had collected from Flone's old home and carefully equipped Hayasaka with them, instructing her to wear them at all times. The artifacts included accessories that were easy to wear, such as necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets.

"Be careful, Ai. I can't bear the thought of losing you," he said with a soft smile, his eyes locking onto hers. He knew she had skills, but he also knew that she tended to hold back.

But with these artifacts she shouldn't die easily at all. Probably good enough to tank a few hits from an actual tank. This should be enough for now.

Together, they researched all they could about Ai, poring over articles and videos that dated back to the idol's heyday. As they dug deeper, they stumbled upon a lead that could potentially lead them to the truth. Well with Gojo's ocular ability he can read everything and comprehend everything easily. They were able to scour all the rumors, leads and information they came across about Ai…Ai Hoshino.

In this day and age of technology, Ai Hayasaka is the only skilled hacker in this modern world who can infiltrate virtually anything. So, it was easy to hack into Ai's personal social media account and all media accounts related. While it sounds great on paper.

This is some illegal shit. We are breaching terms of service and violating every privacy policy. But who the fuck cares am I right? From there we found information we wanted.

Ai Hoshino. The genius idol. The invincible Idol. The legendary Idol. In fact, she was so invincible there was never a sign of weakness we could truly find. After Hayasaka did her tricks, we were able to gain access to all of her accounts that use her password commonly as "45510". But then it was there, we found the only one time she revealed a weakness. In a video from a long-forgotten blog site and archived. The site we stumbled upon was exclusive only to B-Komachi members and was very old. What we found was a video of Ai, and a glimpse of her true personality. This video conveyed a hidden message - a cry for help, an SOS from her at a time when she was at her weakest and willing to reveal it.

And it was never read by any of her co-workers of B-Komachi. Or anyone at all. The content of the video was about—

It was clear to me she was struggling and barely holding herself together from making this video. My first thought was because it had to do with her children, that's why she was able to hold on for long, but a strange intuition gnawed at me, telling me that there was something more. Trusting my intuition, I was able to decipher the hidden meanings in some of the videos, shedding light on Ai Hoshino's struggles and hardships.

***

A/N: This is unedit, also based on what I can find. I fill in the blanks with my imagination.

What I discovered about Ai Hoshino is that she had a difficult childhood with an abusive mother who physically abused her, which may have contributed to her fear of white rice and her habit of inspecting her food for foreign objects. Additionally, the list of skills she then possesses at the time, such as lockpicking and pickpocketing, suggest that she may have spent some time living on the streets. Left as an orphan or something? She also didn't even finish school. These details offer a glimpse into the real Ai, beyond her image as an invincible idol, her background, her life, and her history. I can probably guess that the previous Strawberry Production was aware of her past to some extent.

She was definitely the type of not wanting to fit in. Until recently after her hiatus. Ai Hoshino wanted to continue her friendship with her co-workers in B-Komachi. But this video never reached them, and it clearly shows she had relationship problems with the other girls in B-Komachi, struggling to find someone who could accept her flaws and mistakes. Someone around her age to comfort her. Someone around her age to talk to. Someone to cling to as a friend.

Moving on to the video, there was a brief mention of Ai Hoshino's love life. She spoke of a past relationship with someone younger than her by one year but gave very little detail about it. It seemed that she may have been heartbroken when she realized that it wasn't true love. That person was also the one who got her pregnant.

Then there's the black star, in the video only I can clearly see it. It's a stark contrast to the bright star she presents on stage during performances. Frankly it's disturbing, and I don't know what it means or what it represents…Let's skip this.

I wondered; did she even want to be an idol? Her struggles with understanding love and coping on stage left me with many unanswered questions and an unpleasant feeling. Using lies as a coping mechanism, while hoping that her lies would become reality. To me, it seemed like her entire time as an idol was depressing and dark. It's a sad realization about the entertainment industry.

Wait…No, there was that only one time she genuinely displayed any sign of happiness in this video, it was when she casually mentioned that her relative 'gave birth to twins.' But that was a lie, it was in fact her own children.

'Ah...if it's a story going by like this, then perhaps she had the opportunity to express her true feelings and say what she wanted one last time.' Gojo thought.

'No seriously why does that series have to be so dark.' Gojo shuddered.

After sharing his revelations and his take on deciphering the hidden meanings in the videos, Hayasaka was taken aback by the heartbreaking (truth?) discoveries of Ai Hoshino's past. Hayasaka couldn't help but feel an even deeper respect for the legendary idol. Ai Hoshino's unwavering determination and the fact that she managed to reach legendary status with just lies, and her desire of wanting to make that lie into a reality, only added to Ai Hayasaka's admiration for her.

Flone and Kaguya finally return home slumped onto the couch, exhausted after a long day at school. It was obvious that they didn't enjoy it. As Gojo scrolled through his phone, Flone couldn't help but notice that he was looking at a girl online.

"GOJO!!!" Flone exclaimed, running over to him. "What are you doing? Are you looking at some random girl online... again?"

Gojo chuckled. "No, Flone. That's Ai Hoshino. She's pretty cool and is a legendary idol."

Flone nodded. But her attention was drawn to Hayasaka, who appeared to be tearing up as she looked at something on her phone.

Gojo revealed that he and Hayasaka were trying to solve the case of Ai Hoshino's death, suspecting that there might be a mastermind behind it and a bigger mystery to uncover.

Flone's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow. Did you find any clues?"

Gojo nodded. "Yes, and I'm trying to piece everything together. But do you see if Ai Hoshino has stars in her eyes?"

Flone took a moment to look at the photo of Ai Hoshino before answering, "No, I don't see anything like that. She looks…great though. I take it, you can see something?"

"Interesting, I can see it." Kaguya Otsutsuki joined the conversation, showing her interest in the murder mystery surrounding this idol. "And from what I know, it's not a Sharingan."

"The stars," Gojo replied, pointing to the photo of Ai Hoshino on the screen. "She has 6 pointed stars in her eyes. Bright colors sometimes, but also dark. It's probably something that can't be seen in this world."

Flone's eyes widened in surprise. "That's definitely abnormal. Do you think it has something to do with her death?"

"Hard to say, even I don't know," Gojo replied thoughtfully.

Kaguya shared her insights as she closely examined the image of Ai, attempting to unravel the mystery behind the star eye. "I believe the stars may be linked to the soul, desire, or identity, given the absence of chakra in this realm. It's likely related to one of those three aspects. In fact, there might be up to six different abilities or six wielders representing the stars."

"Oooohh, can I join in this mystery?" Flone said in excitement.

"She was my idol, Flone," Hayasaka said, still sniffing.

"This case looks special. Do you need some help?" Kaguya Shinomiya unannounced, entering the room with a confident smile on her face.
