The rain drops falling off her umbrella hit the floor with a sound, her black boots covered with water, the chill affecting her more but she couldn't stop staring at the man standing across the street right outside the restaurant.

He was wearing a white and black suit, with a black shirt inside and a black tie. The white blazer adorned his beauty very well making him appear like one of those male models on the fashion magazines.

She watched through her black sunglasses as he removed the grey scarf she had given him earlier in the day from around his neck and handed it over to the girl standing next to him with care and doting all written on his face.

Huerta's grip tightened around the umbrella, her knuckles turning white and all she could see turned red.

Huerta's lips stretched in to a cold smile when she realised that she couldn't watch that shameful couple anymore and her eyes lowered out of instinct.

She turned around and silently started walking away, her life and dreams flashed through her eyes and a tear fell down her cheeks but she didn't care anymore.

What didn't she have, that would make him fall for someone else. She was ruthlessly beautiful, super rich and most of all she had the power but then he just had to fall for another.

Huerta halted in her steps when her black Bentley stopped by the street, she had forgotten the main reason of having a car and a body guard by her side.

Roy got out of the car and opened the back door for her, Huerta sighed and hurriedly walked over. She handed the umbrella to Roy and got in to car.

Huerta didn't bother about what else goes on outside, she leaned back in the car seat and closed her eyes.

She had the doors close and then silence took over, she heard no movement at all and knew that Roy must be debating between letting her be and asking about their next destination.

Huerta felt drained and sad, she opened her eyes and her gaze drifted to the outside of the car. The weather comforted her a bit making her feel like she wasn't the only one going through the darkest days

"Take me back home "  The car glided softly, memories flashed in her mind and Huerta felt a bitter taste in her throat.

A lone tear ran down her left cheek but she didn't bother to wipe it away, neither did she notice the look from her driver Roy.

Shawn was the only man she had loved since childhood and in her blindness Huerta always thought that he loved her too until a few days back,  While sitting in her office her secretary delivered a brown a brown envelope.

Huerta thought it was nothing until she saw the photos in the envelope that had her feeling so disgusted and hurt, well she couldn't believe it at first that Shawn can do such a thing to her.

Following her husband wasn't hard, he simply didn't have any fear neither did he expect that she would go to such an extent.

And truly it was a shock when her one and only sister had been sleeping with her husband, it hurt a lot. Now that Huerta knew the truth, she wasn't sure why she was really following this man.

Suddenly all his past actions started to make sense to her, the pain and despair trickled in her veins and her eyes fell shut.

Everyone knew her as the cold, boss lady and the entire business empire was scared of her gaze but now the tears that fell down her face made her feel like she was different from that Huerta the business genius.

Huerta decided that crying right now was the best option, it wouldn't the first time Roy would see her cry and it was the only way to ease that pain before she stepped out of this car and became the Ruthless Huerta with no heart.

A loud cry escaped her lips and she brought her hands to her face, her body shook with her sobs. Huerta felt the car come to a halt but she didn't bother looking up as Roy sat in still, his stone gaze at the front while he listened at his boss cry.

Soon Huerta had no more tears to share, she hiccupped and whimpered like wounded dog for a while before the car started again.

Huerta was okay yet but it least she felt a bit of relief and the tension in her shoulders vanishes, she wondered why she just couldn't get that picture of her husband and sister from her mind.

To think of it, her own sister was going on behind her back to sleep with her husband, Huerta reached for her bag and searched for her handkerchief.

It was all really too much for her, she cleaned her self up before the car swerved in to an empty, elegant environment. They drove around for a while to a certain gate and Roy drove through then came to a halt.

Huerta lifted her puffy eyes to the extravagant mansion in front of her and a cloud of coldness surfaced her gaze, she sighed and grabbed her bag then looked up.

The two storey mansion looked elegant under the bright sunlight, it's gold homey colours would make you think it was a comfortable home to stay but Huerta knew better than anyone that it was just an empty house.

She pushed the door open and stepped out then closed the door behind her, a cold breeze blew her way and her hair scattered. She pushed strands of it behind her ear and looked up.

She was back to being the wife of a cheater and the mistress of a home, her eyes turned cold and she walked towards the main door.

Her heart turned bitter and a shiver rushed down her spine in anger and pity but what was she to do now.
