Chapter 48: New House (4)

It was evening when Fu Jinlong arrived at his old house. His friend was attentively studying in his own room.

Fu Liang paused his studying, when he heard some incoming footsteps.

His gaze shifted to the door and saw his friend, Fu Jinlong, coming inside his room slowly.

"Ah Jin, You're back? Come and sit. How did your work go today?" Fu Liang asked with concern.

"Yep, All good. "Umm, Ah Liang, we will move out from here to our new home tomorrow. You should take a leave from school for tomorrow to get prepared to move in, understood?" Fu Jinlong said.

"I understand," Fu Liang said as he had a smile on his face. He was just happy to move out from here, he never expected that his new home would be an expensive one.

After that small talk, Fu Jinlong entered his own room. It was hot inside his room as it was currently summer in Huaxia.

When it was about 10 o' clock at night, Fu Jinlong walked out of the house and started running toward another deserted place to cultivate. He was running really fast leaving some afterimages, while tearing through the warm breezes of summer, and finally he stopped beside a big tree. Then he sat down beside the tree and started cultivating.

Moonlight shone over him creating a mysterious halo around him, which couldn't be perceived by normal vision..

It was a quiet night with occasional sounds of breeze passing the treetops.

After cultivating till dawn he achieved a breakthrough and reached 6th stage of Spirit Energy Gathering realm. With this, his True Essence increased inside his Dan tian. His physique also improved slightly, but it was still not enough to awaken his Tyrannical Draconic Physique.

Then he started practicing his fist technique to its absolute perfection.

Afterwards, Fu Jinlong returned to his house early in the morning, the sun was still not up yet.

After eating breakfast both of them started their preparation to move out from the decayed house.

They didn't have that much belongings with them. They had only a few books and some clothes. They placed all of their essentials in a big luggage and then put the luggage into a cab. Afterwards, Fu Jinlong told Grandma Meng about their departure. Grandma Meng was a little sad, but more than that she was happy to Xiao Long moving out to a good house. She told him to visit her sometimes. Fu Jinlong agreed, and tried to give her some money, But the old woman rejected it. Fu Jinlong didn't insist any longer thinking about the old woman's self respect.

When the cab driver drove them to the Star Hill residence, he was shocked to see the magnificence of the residence. Then he took a glance behind at the duo with a complicated gaze. He couldn't believe that the duo were moving in this residence. The driver parked the cab in the large parking lot, in which a lot of luxurious cars were parked.

After getting out of the cab Fu Liang exclaimed in surprise, "Eh, Ah Jin, why are we here? Where is our new home?"

Getting out of the cab, Fu looked at his confused friend and smiled.

"What else? We are going to stay here from now on. I have bought an apartment here. This will be our new home from now on."

"Ahhh! What are you saying? How is that possible? This residence is so big and looks really expensive as well. How were you able to buy it?" Fu Liang asked with a surprised scream.

After feeding Fu Liang some lies, Fu Jinlong was able to convince him. Feeling guilty Fu Jinlong wanted to tell him the truth. But he was a little conflicted inside, so he didn't tell him.

Then the duo moved up to the 5th floor, 20th apartment using the elevator. Upon seeing the Interior of the apartment Fu Liang's eyes flashed with excitement.

"Wow! Ah Jin. Such a beautiful home, everything looks beautiful and shiny. I can't believe my eyes. Ooh, is this a bedroom? Woah! What an amazing living room. Everything is incredible." Fu Liang was getting more amazed when he looked around the apartment.

"Ah Jin, are you sure you didn't rob a bank?" Fu Liang asked raising his eyebrows.

Fu Jinlong's lips twitched upon hearing his friend.

He remained silent not to make things more complicated.

The apartment was clean and tidy, obviously Huo Zhihang had it cleaned beforehand.

Both of them settled down in the apartment after some time. Then they went to the nearest mall to get some daily necessities, such as food and clothes etc. The clothes they bought looked ordinary but quite expensive. They spent around 70-80 thousand yuan in that instance shopping.

Fu Liang was overwhelmed by the sudden change of lifestyle. But he decided to blend into society, so that not to embarrass himself and his friend Fu Jinlong.

At night after eating dinner, both of them went to their new bedrooms.

Fu Jinlong's room was a shinny spacious room filled with a few artistic furniture and perfect lighting. The air conditioning system of the room was quite refreshing. He stretched the curtains of the window to see the beautiful view of the lively city.
