#Chapter26 Six
It wasn't long until he reached the door of a familiar chamber with the girl in his hands.
He watched her intensely. Waiting for her leg to reach the end of the cliff. Waiting for her to fall to her death. And finally, be free of the newly found emotions he felt when he saw her face.
He was frightened, threatened. And agitated at the effect this human had on him. Although he was once the product of humans himself. The forest took him into its hands and soon he stepped out the human bonds he had with his body.
He never considered himself one of them. He never was, he never will be. He despised them. The thought of their skeleton buried in the soil, under his foot gave him immense pleasure.
The thought of burying her dead body, however, The thought of it ached.
He found it damning.
