Family Meeting (4): Tian Long Victory

The City Lord who was called came to the arena as the third elder left the view for him. Dipping his hand to pick out two cards, he called out

“Long Man and Tian Long!!”

Tian Long heard his name called and went to the arena. Looking at his opponent, he chuckled. It was the burly who threatened him in the first round.

“Haaa…, it looks like there is luck on my side. The trash young master is my opponent” The burly young man started laughing.

Tian Long’s eyes narrowed hearing this. “You always get on my nerve” he said as he closed his eyes. Opening his eyes back, Tian Long mischievous gaze has disappeared, now it was a predatory gaze.

Taking his Yang sword from the sheath, he readied himself for the battle while Long Man took out a golden axe too.

For the former round, real weapon were banned from being used. Only wooden weapon or fist are the weapons you can use. But it was not the same in this round

“Tian Long, are you sure you want to use me for this low level battle” A childish male voice sounded in Tian Long mind.

“Yea, Little Chan. Restrict your strength to the lowest level”

“I can only restrict it to peak profound grade, is that okay with you?”

“That would be okay, i just hope it does not attract anyone attention”

Heading in between the both of them, the city lord shouted “Battle”.

The both of them looked at each other hoping to find an opening in their opponent stance.

“What is wrong with them? Why are they not moving”.

“Can't you see the fight has started?”

“Yea, it is a battle of endurance. I wonder who would last longer?”

Few minutes passed as the audience were already losing interest in the battle. Long Man could not take it longer proceeded to attack.

“Golden Boar Fist!”. A phantom of a golden boar appeared and charged to Tian Long direction.

“Lion King Fist!” Tian Long counterattacked neutralizing Long Bai attack.

‘Peak Stage of Seventh Level of Body Refining Realm’ But a shout broke him from his thought

“Golden Boar Axe!” An axe was so close to Tian Long that it won't be possible for a 6th level body refining realm to be able to block it

The golden axe was blocked with the yang sword. This shocked the entire crowd as they expected Tian Long defeat. But even though Tian Long had blocked the axe he still felt something amiss

“Brat, don't expect you blocked my axe. My Golden Boar Axe destructive power is not in the axe but in the Qi that is emitting….” Long Man didn't say this finish that Qi from the axe started radiating flinging Tian Long to a corner of the arena. The Qi emitted can severely injure a 6th level body refining realm.

As Tian Long was thrown to the corner, his lips curled up into a smile. Looking at where Tian Long was, the crowd began to look maybe Tian Long survived it. Due to the dust accumulated, they were not able to see the state Tian Long is in.

As the dust cleared, they saw Tian Long with a smile on his face. Meanwhile the city lord was looking at Tian Long as his figure appeared from the dust.

‘It looks like the young master of the Long Family is different from the rumors. The speed to able to block that axe at that distance and ability to survive this attack shows that he is not an ordinary 6th level body refining realm. I hope he meet my standards’

“As expected of the trash young master. For you to able to block my attack with your sword. I had expected to survive that attack but it all ends now” Long Man looked at Tian Long with a it is over look. Tian Long cultivation was at the early stage of 6th level body refining realm. Being able to block his attack was quite surprising to him.

Bringing out more power, Long Man strength began to increase as he attacked again. The destructive power was twice as the former one. As the attack hit Tian Long, he didn't even bother to check because this attack was filled with axe consciousness.

"Third elder, you can call the end of this match" Long Man said with confidence. As the third elder was about to end the match

"Third elder, why would you end the match without one of the participants accepting defeat or his/her legs are on the ground" Tian Long questioned shocking the entire crowd of his appearance.

His body was without a bruise meaning the attack means nothing to him.

"You..you.. impossible how are you still in one piece" Long Man was shocked by this. "Hahaha, don't make me laugh. Do you think you are the only who learnt weapon law consciousness talk less of your low level axe consciousness"

Long Man who heard Tian Long words looked closely and noticed something surrounding Tian Long body. Looking deeper, he noticed something

"This is impossible.. how can a trash like you be able to understand shield consciousness". Yes,what Tian Long used was the shield consciousness even though his body is at 9th level body refining realm and is able to defend this attack without suffering harm, he doesn't want to reveal his main strength.

"It looks like you have not yet understood..." Long Man saw Tian Long saying this but in the next moment "....your situation" Tian Long was at his back already making him feel chills.

Is this the strength of a 6th level body refining realm or is there something else to his strength. This were the thought passing through Long Man mind. Sheathing his sword, Tian Long began to take a strange stance but for people familiar with this stance would know he want to use basic fist art.

Seeing this, Long Man felt angry. Taking his axe, he striked Tian Long but the attack was dodged beautifully by Tian Long. Counter attacking, he gave Long Man a punch send a spark to his body making him feel kinda dizzy. This basic fist art was taught to him by Uncle Don Ming

'Uncle Don Ming said that if a cultivator loses his weapon when fighting an enemy, what can he fight with?'. He taught him this art, so that he can defend himself if such situation happens.

Attacking again but this time there was a lot of opening from Long Man. Making use of this opportunity, Tian Long gave him consecutive punches wherever he was punched to, Tian Long would be there giving him a punch. This was the power of the flash steps.

Seeing that he was not able to severely injure him due to his physique. He drew out his sword,

"Since you want to see my sword, I would show you. I hope you are able to survive it". Increasing his cultivation from early of 6th level body refining realm to the peak stage.

"Fire Essence Art" Tian Long shouted in his mind as the flame took on the appearance of a ball directing it toward Long Man. This was not a ordinary fire attack, there is also his sword consciousness there too

Long Man also noticed there was something different about the fire as his instinct screamed for danger but the ball was too fast to be dodged. As the fireball hit him, he never felt so much pain before. Also he didn't expect Tian Long cultivation to increase to peak stage of 6th level body refining realm

Feeling the pain made Long Man want to lose consciousness but he found out something that made him to laugh wildly. Tian Long who saw this frowned

"Tian Long, it looks like heaven are in favor with me" Long Man said as he revealed what happened. He had broken through eight level of body refining realm. Due to Tian Long attack which pressured he was able to breakthrough even though it is not stable.

"To defeat you completely, I will use my strongest attack. Be proud that you are able to force me to this extent".

Hearing this, Tian Long began to laugh. He had never thought someone would be so dumb not to notice that since he is able to increase his cultivation, that this might not be this limit

Putting his left hand forward, he shouted "Golden Boar Fist". Immediately, he attacked with his axe "Golden Boar Axe" but strangely the attack began to fuse forming a large golden Boar image as their destructive power multiplied fourfold moving in Tian Long direction

With his black hair and golden pupil, Tian Long smiled as he mouthed "Good job, you are able to make me release part of my strength". Increasing his cultivation to early stage of seventh level body refining realm. He whispered "Fire Essence Art" making a huge fire ball and adding a higher level sword consciousness

The axe consciousness of Long Man was at the first level while the one Tian Long used before was at the 2nd level but this time it is a third level sword consciousness.

As the big Fireball and the large Golden Boar met. It didn't even take a minute that the Golden Boar was destroyed by the fire ball as the fire ball met Long sending him into a state of half-dead state.

"Why is he still able to increase his cultivation and power" This was the thought Long Man had before losing consciousness.

"I declare Tian Long the winner of this battle". The City Lord said. Hearing this, the crowd was silent for some minutes before screams could be heard

"I told you Tian Long might be a dark horse"

"What a epic fight!. There were times where I thought Tian Long would lose but he changed my view"

"Yes, I didn't expect he would be so strong. But I hope he is able to win the family meeting"

Tian Long!!! Tian Long!! Tian Long!! Tian Long!!!!

Some of the crowd started shouting his name. It looks like their views on Tian Long had changed. From the beginning to the end of the match, the crowd were all silent that even the sound of a pin dropping could be heard. This showed how entertaining the fight was!.

Meanwhile Tian Long left the arena as he headed back to his space.
