Childhood Girl

 POV: Tangwen

I just got pinned to the pictures of me and Moon together which could never be promised forever in my fate. Everything just ended in not so less time… all because of my selfishness. I just wanna treat Moon the way she treated me - just to teach her how it feels to be hated by the person whom we love? But… Why does it hurt me in the end? Why…?

No matter if I try or she, it's me who gets hurt in both the cases.

"This isn't what I carved for?"

I whispered, staring at the heavy pour but then I found two figures chasing the place I had been located here since the past 30 mins. As they reached, I found a guy being dressed in his comfort white shirt with blue jacket and blue trousers on. He is drop-dead handsome from top to bottom. And then comes this girl, whose only back view was available currently. I couldn't figure out what she exactly looks like in the front view?

In the dismantlement, I turned away from those guys and tugged my thoughts in the air - just to not increase my curiosity to know the other person too.

Soon in the background, the whispers of the guys echoed in the station as it was only the three of us and… this unstoppable heavy pour in the addition. I felt weird when the whispers were being raised little by little. I turned my face in their direction just to catch the attention of the guy who was on me already.

He muttered to the girl as we met our eyes. Were they babbling about me? Weirdos. And this thought had not even taken a second to lay on me, the girl whom I was curious about suddenly took a face look at me.

My eyes widened up. My heartbeat began rising, I might die of heart failure. Like me, even the girl was in awe.

Moon?

I never imagined figuring out my curiosity over a girl would be Moon Fowler once again. The unconditional love I often carved for her had forever made a garden in my heart. But… the silence between us forced me to kill myself either forcing myself to hate her. It's hard though. I felt the uncomfortability in her motions when her sight was just stuck on me.

She might be tired of loving a person who just has hate in their heart. I can see the tiredness in her face but still she didn't give up admiring me with her glamorous eyes. Until she was dragged away by the guy, her eyes were just glued to me. I want her eyes to stay on me forever. Though this Thought sounds meaningless but the imagination is possible.

Again. A whole empty place. Maybe I was addressed to be like this. This silence seriously suffocates me. I want a lot to happen but nothing really comes true.

"Ha." I sighed heavily but then a thought bloomed in me. Kind of curiosity. I wanna eavesdrop on their conversation.

Man, Tangwen! What the hell? Why are you even behaving like this?!

Ah, maybe I should just drop this thought away. And…

You see, I literally boycotted the thought of dropping it and instead hid behind the wall to just eavesdrop on their talks. What the hell wrong with you, Tangwen?

"I like her… but she hates me, Daizō."

"You like her? But what about that childhood girl you loved the most."

Childhood girl… she used to love? T-That means… I wasn't the first girl being loved by her but there's someone else who got that precious place. I envy her. Don't tell me this was the reason behind your hate for Me. Did you make me sink in this dark world of hate just because your heart was stuck on someone else? Just tell me this is a lie, Moon!

This is horrible to bear…

"I tried but I couldn't find her. I don't know her name, not even her given name. I don't have her picture, the one I used to have got torn. I couldn't understand what to do now, Daizō!!"

"It's okay, Moon. Let go the one you couldn't find out but don't let go the one you hold on. Don't give up, you'll have the best you deserve."

I just ignored the further conversation and stopped eavesdropping. I felt my heart was so heavy. Shoulders urge to fall off due to the heavy burden making bruises on me.

"Tsk!"

I pulled out a bare note from my handbag, scrubbed what came into my mind and stacked it on the wall. I came under pressure that I didn't run a thought of rereading it. These sucks!

Leen… should I call him? Hm, forget it. He just appears nowhere to me just by the info that Moon is with me–to make her jealous by taking me away–he can even leave his work to come find me and take me away. Later that, I could only see him once out of the blue.

"Brother Dillon, can you pick me up?"

"Send me your location, I'll be there in no less time."

"Ok."

After Moon, I trust only you, Brother.

Feels like I should add Tangwen's POV sometimes too.

I tagged this book, come and support me with a thumbs up!
