Broken

There are people

all around her

At any given moment

one of them could just

look into her eyes

and say

I see that you are

broken

sad

mad

depressed

fighting

hating

struggling

unhappy

lost

But they don't

they look at her

her fake smile

and think

she is fine

So she says

like every other time

"I'm fine."
