Each time she contemplated using the seashells to communicate with him, his mind filled with doubts. She couldn't bear the thought of being responsible for any harm that might befall him due to their connection.
Her study of the grimoire intensified, seeking alternative methods to aid Ethan and the resistance without putting him at risk.
However, her need to hear his voice, to know that he was safe, grew too powerful to ignore.
One evening, unable to resist any longer, she decided to perform a meditation that would hopefully lead her to a vision.
Sitting cross-legged on the floor, Delphine held the grimoire, her mind focusing on Ethan's well-being.
"Please, let him be safe" she whispered softly, as if that grimoire held the power to change their reality.
She closed her eyes, her senses sharpened, and tried to focus on her goal.
